Chapter 4: Watch Her

Jack couldn't get out of the house fast enough, he was already embarrassed for kissing her on the forehead let alone wanting to drink her blood. He didn't know what was going on with him, but the feelings he was feeling for Elsa was getting stronger, what was he to her in the past? What doesn't he remember about her? As he started to walk to the Vampire Bar thinking about everything that's happened in the last 24 hours, he couldn't help but feel like he was being followed. It was light out so of course people were out, either going to work or just walking around the village but Jack could feels eyes on him, watching him. He decided to test his theory as he walked past the Vampire Bar and into the alley way. As he turned the corner, he pushed himself against the wall and waited.

Not long, someone walked by him and Jack quickly grabbed the stranger by the collar pushing them against the wall. Jack couldn't see the strangers face with a hat cover their face, all he saw was some brown hair coming out form under the hat. "Who are you and why are you following me?" Jack hissed showing his teeth. He heard the stranger laugh only making Jack get angrier, "Don't think I won't kill you." Jack growled putting his hand on the stranger's throat. Finally the person looked up and Jack saw it was a woman with brown eyes, "You won't hurt me Jackson." The woman said making Jack raise an eyebrow, how did this woman know him? "Who are you? And how do you know me?" Jack asked again as he saw the woman's eyes start to change from dark brown to green/blue eyes and her brown hair turned white blonde hair.

Jack couldn't believe his eyes when he let go and step back, "Elizabeth? Wha... how?" Jack asked as Elizabeth brushed off her dress, taking off the hat before she looked at Jack crossing her arms, "You're father sent me to look for you. But I knew you'd still be in this village, you've always been drawn to it." Elizabeth said trying not to say to much. "My father sent you? Ha, funny, he never lets you out of his sight." Jack said as he lend back on the wall behind him, "What dose he want?" He asked. "What do you think? You were missing for almost 24 hours, you are the last of his blood who can take over the kingdom when the time comes." Elizabeth said as she heard footsteps form the street next to them.

She looked to see a family walk by the alleyway, a mother with her two daughters. Elizabeth felt her breath catch in her throat, it hurt her heart seeing her village, knowing she was so close to her family that she couldn't see them. Would her family even remember her now though? She wondered if her husband remarried, she didn't want to think about that knowing it would just kill her. "Right... Well, you found me, now I think it's best that you go home and tell my father I won't be coming home for awhile." Jack said as he tried to walk off but Elizabeth jumped in his way stopping him. "What do you mean? What's..." Before she could finish sentence, she saw Jack's eye shine a light purple around his already dark blue eyes. "Oh god Jack..." Elizabeth said as she placed her hand on his cheek making him close his eyes.

Even though Elizabeth was his father's familiar, she was like a mother that Jack lost, she took care of him. Seeing her hurt face right now was hurting him. "Who did this to you? Who took your freedom?" She asked making Jack shake his head, "It's a misunderstanding Elizabeth, my mas... the woman, I scared her. She did what she did to protect herself. Trust me, she's beating herself up about it." Jack said. "She doesn't know how to undo the spell? What kind of witch is she?" She asked making Jack laugh, "She's training, she doesn't have a teacher so everything she'd learned is form books." Jack said making Elizabeth laugh, "Smart witch, normally they just forget their roots and become mortal." She says.

That's what happened to her daughter, she knew without her being there she would never practice magic and became mortal. She couldn't think about her daughters right now, not with this problem. Elizabeth cleared her throat, "So... What's your master's name?" She asked making him laugh, "First of all, she doesn't like me calling her that, it freaks her out. And Second, it's Elsa. Elsa Windheart." Jack said making Elizabeth freeze and her heart stop. "I'm sorry, I think I misheard you, did you say Windheart?" she ask making Jack nod, "Yeah, I guess she's the only witch in this village." Jack looked closer at Elizabeth, she had the same hair color as Elsa, even her eyes were the same except for the color.

"It's funny, you kind of look..." Jack started but stopped when saw the look in Elizabeth's eyes before she turned away. Jack sighed as it all clicked together, "Shit... You're her mother." He said making her nod, "Your... Father took me away form my family eleven years ago. I thought... I thought Elsa would of forgotten that she is a witch." She looks over at Jack and gave him a weak smile, "But I guess I was wrong." She says but Jack didn't want to laugh, he didn't know what to do. "If you're Elsa's mother, then you can break this spell, you can give me back my freedom and return to your family." Jack said as he grabs Elizabeth's hand and started to pull her, "Everything is going to work out, finally." He says but Elizabeth stopped, "Jackson stop, I can't go see them." She says making Jack look back at her to see her holding herself, almost shaking.

"Why? You're here, my father isn't, he can't..." "He can Jack, he can. You don't know this but I gave up my free well, to be Henry's familiar, to save Elsa. Your father wanted her! Because he knew just like I do that she is powerful, much more powerful then me or him." Elizabeth could feel the tears start to form in her eyes as she moved her fingers into her hair, "If your father even knew Elsa was practicing witchcraft... He'd take her as his new familiar." She said feeling the tears go down her face. Jack could feel his fist clench just thinking of his father controlling Elsa, it made him want to kill him. He walked over to her and grabbed her shoulders making her look at him, "But his not here, how would he know that you saw her, to train her?" He asked but Elizabeth just shook her head.

"You don't understand Jack, your father ordered me to not see them, I can't see my family, I can't go near them." She said which just hurt Jack more, he could feel Elizabeth's sadness, anger, and fear going through her body. "You know how it feels, you know how it feels to try and disobey your master. You can't." She added and she knew he was right, his tried to disobey Elsa before and it felt like he couldn't breath, almost like it was going to kill him. "Fine, I won't take you to them, but can't you tell me how to undo this spell and I can just tell Elsa?" He asked but she just shook her head, "It doesn't work like that. You are not a witch, even if you read ever spell book in your castle, you can't show her how to undo it.

"You won't be able to say the spell back to her or how she can even use it. She needs to figure it out by herself." He was scared she was going to say that. Elizabeth step up to him and put her hand on his shoulder, "Jack, you are Elsa's familiar now, you have to protect her, to watch her." Elizabeth grabbed his shoulders, "You can not let Henry get Elsa, you must keep her away from him." She bagged tears still going down her face. How was he going to tell her about the rescue plan? He knew he just had to be straight forward. He took a deep breath, "Elsa wants to do a rescue mission to save you, in a month." Jack said making Elizabeth's eyes widen and she start to shake her head like crazy, "No no no, Jack you have to stop her." She ask shaking him a little.

"I can't! She ordered me to help her!" He yelled making Elizabeth flinch. Jack needed to calm down he was getting to worked up. He took a deep breath, trying to control his breathing, "She ordered me to take her to my home, she thinks I'm a guard, she has no idea that I'm the prince, she has no..." This was killing Jack, "She has no idea how dangerous I can be." He said. Elizabeth didn't know what to say about this, if Henry saw her, knew she was coming after him, he would stop at nothing to stop her, to have her.

How was she going to protect the one she loves if she can't even go near them? "What is her plan?" She asked making Jack look at her, "She wants to leave in a month, I was planning on taking the long way, through the forest to get her there to train her more, we're working on her mind, so my father can't control her." That's when Jack felt anger go through Elizabeth as she looked at him, her eyes glowing gold, "You... Are you using glaze on my daughter!?" She yell making Jack put his hands up, "It's not what your thinking Elizabeth, I promise I didn't do anything. Don't make me use my powers on you, you know I will." Elizabeth's eyes glow darker. "Hell Elizabeth, I never even drank form her." He said making Elizabeth shock as she started to calm down, he hasn't drank her blood? That means he hasn't seen her memories, he doesn't know the past she took away from them.

"You promise you are trying to teach her to block her mind, you're not hurting her, or trying to..." She didn't want to finish her sentence making Jack raise an eyebrow. She knew he didn't know she was trying to say, "Please don't make me say it Jack or it's just going to make me want to kill you." She said making Jack trying to figure out what she meant until it clicked. "Jesus Christ Elizabeth no I would never... She's to... innocent. I don't want to take that from her and..." He started to say rubbing his neck. "And?" She ask making him look back at her, "And there's something about her that seems like I've known her from a long time ago, I just can't remember." He says.

"What do you mean?" she asked but Jack just shook his head, "Nothing, nothing. I don't want to think about it or I'm going to get myself a headache." He says. Elizabeth nod as she looked at the sky, she needed to leave soon, "What are we going to do Jack?" She ask making Jack look at her, "I don't know... Are you going to tell my father you found me?" He ask making her nod, "You know I have to... unless." She said turning to Jack. "Unless?" He ask. She was scared the say the next thing but it was the only thing she could do to make it so Henry doesn't now what Jack and Elsa's plan was. "I need you to erase my memories, making me forget I saw you." She ask.

"Am I even powerful enough to do that to you? You're a strong witch Elizabeth." Jack said making her smile, "I'm strong enough to block out any hypnosis but... I will break that wall so it helps you and Elsa out. You just need to promise me, one thing." She says making him nod, "Anything." She took a deep breath as she hugged Jack, "Promise me, you'll protect Elsa. That you won't let anything hurt her, and that you... treat her like you love her." She said making Jack tense up hearing that last part. He held Elizabeth tighter, "I'll do everything in my power to protect her. Nothing will touch her." Jack promised as Elizabeth pulled back tears in her eyes again, "Thank you Jack." She says as she wipes her eyes and laughs a little before she puts her hat back on making her hair turn brown and her eyes following behind.

"I'll write to my father soon to cover my tracks." He says making Elizabeth nod, "Smart idea, now... Make me forget." She says making Jack return the nod as he looks Elizabeth in the eye waiting for the glaze, it took longer then normal for the glaze to hit but it did. "Elizabeth, you will forget that you saw me, you won't remember Elsa and I's plan save you. You'll tell my father that I wasn't in the village, that you think I'm in the woods killing werewolves." Jack said making Elizabeth nod as Jack step away form her, and walked back into the light. He waited by the door at the Vampire Bar as he saw a woman wearing a hat walk down the street away from him. Jack let out a sigh as he turned and walked into the club, he was past the time he told Elsa he'd be back.

It's wet and dark, that's all Elsa could see and feel as she started to walk to see if she notice anything that seemed familiar to her. She didn't know where she was or how she got there but one thing was for sure, she was having a premonition. She knew she was in a half dream, half awake state showing her something was going to happen soon. She stopped when she the moon start to shine on the lake, she walked closer feeling the wind start to hit her, she then realized she was in the forest. What was the future trying to tell her? She wrap her arms around herself, she felt powerful right now. She looked up to see a full moon now making scene why she felt strong, supernaturals were powerful under the full moon.

She knew her powers grow stronger on full moons and that werewolves become full wolves all night but she never knew what happened to vampires on a full moon. Papa use to tell her that she had to stay in doors whenever it was a full moon because of vampires, she just didn't know what he meant. She closed her eyes feeling the power in her until she heard a crack behind her making her turn before she felt someone or something grab her and pinned her down. She wanted to scream but the stranger on her she knew, she knew the feeling of their hand on her arms. She looked up at the stranger's to see a pure of light blue eyes and sharp fangs at her. "Jack?" Elsa but it was like he couldn't hear her. "What are you doing?" She ask as Jack started to look at her neck, "God you smell so good... So... Tasty." Jack hissed as he lowers his mouth to Elsa's neck, "I... I can't control myself." Jack said as he bite making Elsa scream.

Jack ran as fast as he could to Elsa's room the minute he heard her start to scream. As he broke the door down he saw Elsa kicking and screaming for help. Jack jumped on her pinning her down but she was putting up a fight. "Elsa, Elsa wake up, it's a nightmare." Jack said but Elsa just kept screaming making trying to figure out how to snap her out of this nightmare. "Elsa!" Jack heard behind him making him turn to see Elsa's sister Anna at the door. She quickly ran in and looked at Jack, "How long has she been like this?" she asked as she started to walk to Elsa's desk. "Not long. What's happening to her?" Jack asked worried for Elsa as she kept screaming trying to push him off.

"She's having a premonition and from her actions, it's a bad one." Anna said as she grabs a vile and starts to walk back to them. "Premonition? Elsa can see into the future?" Jack asked making her nod, "Yes... She's a very powerful witch." She said as she lowered herself down to Elsa's level, "Keep her still please." She asked as Jack put more weight on her making it harder for her to move. Anna open the vile and put it under Elsa's nose making her whole body stop moving making Jack take it to get off of her. "What... What is that?" Jack asked as Elsa's breathing started to go back to normal. "It's a spell Elsa made, when she has this premonitions, they really take over her body. This make her calm down and get her back to sleep without thinking of the future." Anna said as she walked out into the living room, having Jack follow closing Elsa's door so she can get some sleep.

"But... why dose this happen to her?" Jack ask as he joined Anna on the couch. Anna lend back and closed her eyes, "The future can be a dark place Jack, it's not all beautiful." She said as Jack felt sadness go through her, he wondered what she was thinking about. Looking more at Anna, he could see a lot of Arther in her. She had his looks but had Elizabeth's eyes. "Dose this happen a lot?" He ask as she shook her head, "The last time it happened, she didn't talk to anyone for a week, she just stayed in room and didn't eat." "What did she see?" Jack asked as Anna look at him, "I don't know. She never told any of us." She said making Jack wonder as he looked at Elsa's door, he can see why his father wants her.

If his father had Elsa, it would most likely be the apocalypse, he could take over the world with Elsa by his side. Half of him worried that's what she saw. "Do you know if her premonitions come true?" He ask as he looked back at Anna. "The future isn't set and stone Jack, you have to make choices everyday and this choices can change the future in a blink of an eye. So I don't know if any of Elsa's premonitions come true or not, all I know is that she gets scared, and they almost kill her." She says and Jack felt the fear coming from her like it was spilling out of her.

"Is that why you come to us?" Anna asked taking Jack by surprise, "What do you mean?" He asked as she locked eyes with him, "Did you come here because you found out Elsa was a witch, a powerful one?" She asked making Jack sit back a little, the moment he licked that blood off of her arm, he knew she was powerful, then to see her turn into a animal in front of him... How can anyone not be drawn to her? "I saw her practicing magic outside of town last night. It was so... magical I couldn't stop starring at her, watching her." He let out a laugh as he notice how creepy that sounded. "No wonder I scared her last night." He said making Anna raise an eyebrow, "You scared her?" She ask making Jack remember that Anna has no idea he was a vampire.

He cleared his throat, "Yeah, I snuck up on her and she did this to me." Jack said moving his hand over his right eye to remove a spell Elizabeth put on him showing off a long scar going right through his eye. Anna covered her mouth as she used her free hand to touch it making him flinch a little. "Sorry." She recoiled her hand putting it on her lap, "Elsa did that?" She asked making him nod even though, she didn't. Jack actually doesn't remember how he got this scar, his father said it was form the werewolf that killed his mother, but he didn't remember the werewolf attacking him when he found his mother...

"Like I said, I scared her, it's my own fault. It's nothing to worry about, this spell covers it up so no one can ever see it." Jack said with a smile making Anna smile as we heard a noise in the kitchen to see Kristoff walk in. He stopped when he saw Anna and Jack talking. "Ah, you must be Elsa's new teacher, Jack right?" He asked as he walked over to them  and shook Jack's hand. Jack notice how tightly he was grabbing it, he was strong. "Yeah, and you must be Kristoff right?" Jack asked making him nod, "I sure am. I hope you don't mind me asking but it looks like a wolf got your eye mate." Kristoff said making Jack put his hand up to his eye again, he needed to ask Elsa if he could do a cover spell on him.

"Kristoff don't be rude!" Anna yelled as she stood up and smacked him on his shoulder. "Ouch, I'm sorry okay." He looks at Jack, "I'm really am sorry. It's just... we match, well almost." Kristoff said as he turned around and lift up his shirt to show a bigger scar on his back. Anna started to rub her arm and Jack noticed her nerves hitting her. "Did a wolf get you?" Jack asked making Kristoff nod, "Yeah... I was stupid and went out walking on a full moon, poor kid didn't even know he was attacking a human." He was lying, Jack could feel that, he was attacked by a werewolf but it's not how he says it happened, he was hiding something but what could he do, Jack was hiding his true self too.

Jack? Jack heard making him turn to Elsa's room, she was calling for him. "I'm going to check on Elsa, excuse me." Jack said as he excused himself and walked to Elsa's room. "Wait, Jack..." Kristoff said grabbing Jack's arm tightly as he step close enough so Anna couldn't hear him, "I know who you are." Jack turned to his head to Kristoff seeing his light green eyes turn a dark forest green. "If you hurt anyone in this family, I will not hesitate to kill you." Kristoff said and Jack knew he wasn't lying, Kristoff was a supernatural, he just didn't know what he was. Jack nod, "If it makes you feel any better, Arthur would kill me before you do. Now if you'd excuse me, my master is calling me." Jack said taking back he arm as he stepped to Elsa's door and slowly opened it.

Elsa was sitting at her window sit watching the sky turn dark, she's been asleep for a few hours, even though it felt like a week. She couldn't stop thinking about her premonition, was Jack going to try and bite her on the next full moon? That was a month away, it'll happen when they are gone going after the Vampire King. She moved her knees up to her chine hugging them, she was thinking about Jack, she knew he wouldn't hurt her, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't bite her she guessed. "You called me?" Jack said as he closed the door making Elsa turn to him surprised. She didn't even know she called him, and she could barely see him with how dark it was in her room. But Jack could see her almost like there was light shining on her and the the look in her eyes made Jack not want to go closer to her, she was scared. "Elsa? What's wrong?" He asked slowly taking a step to her. She turned away form him, she couldn't look at him after what she saw, the look in his eyes when he got hungry, scared her.

She was scared of him but she knew she shouldn't be, he couldn't hurt her. "Elsa, you don't have to be scared of me." she heard as she turned back to him and saw that he was much closer to her now. "How did you know I was scared of you?" She asked making him smile sending a flutter in her heart. "It's one of the secrets you told me." She wanted to hit herself in the head, why did she tell him that? "Of course I did... What else did I..." She started until she saw the scar on Jack's eye. "What happened?" She asked quickly as she touched his eye making Jack almost melt under her touch. She had such a way with him, she made him weak and strong at the same time. He put his hand on hers, "It happened a long time ago, but Anna thinks you hurt me the night we meet." He said making her raise an eyebrow, "Sorry, I couldn't let her know I was a vampire remember?" He said making her nod, "Right... Then how did I not see it until now?" She asked.

"Another witch helped me out and put a cover spell on it to hide it from others, but..." Jack said as he looked at the mirror on her vanity. "When I see my reflection, I can see the scar." He says as he turned back to Elsa. "I have a spell to remove the scar." She said as her eyes turned purple but Jack shook his head, "No, I need a reminder. I need to see the scar, as a remind that the guy who killed my mother is out there somewhere." Jack eyes started to turn light blue, "And I will make him pay for what he did to her." He said as Elsa moved her hand away from him, he looked like a different person then the man she saw in her premonition. Elsa cleared her throat making him turn back to him, his eyes back to the normal dark blue, "I'm sorry... Did I scare you?" He asked but she shook her head, "No, no you didn't. But umm, I can use a cover up spell if you like." She said making him nod, "I would really appreciate that." He said as she moved close to him again and put her hand over his eye.

"You know, the scar isn't that bad." She says making Jack open his left eye to her, "It goes right through my eye Elsa, how isn't it bad?" He ask making her laugh, "I'm just saying, your scar is kind of... Sexy." She said making her self blush and she felt heat under her hand from Jack's cheek, "Sexy huh? But aren't all vampires sexy to you?" He asked making Elsa freeze and move her hand, "What did you say?" She asked making him laugh, "Another little secret you told me." He said with a wink making her huff as she put her hand on his eye again.

"Don't worry dearie, your secret is safe with me. I won't tell anyone how madly in love you are with me." Promise me, you'll protect Elsa. That you won't let anything hurt her, and that you... treat her like you love her. Jack thought of what Elizabeth said, why did he say that? He knew she didn't love him, and he didn't love her or at less he didn't think he did, but  why did he say it like that? But Elsa took it as a joke and smiled, "Good, because we can't let people know now can we?" Elsa said with a wink making Jack smile, at less she can take a joke. "You ready for me to hide your scar?" She asked making him nod, even though half of him thinks that maybe he should just keep it.

Elsa felt her power come alive, "In the eye of the beholder, a scar will show but to others, it'll be no more."Jack felt his eye start to tingle as Elsa's power went to her hand. Not long she moved her hand as Jack's scar slowly start to disappear in her eyes. He looked in the mirror and saw his scar, just like always. "Thank you." He said as he turned back to Elsa to see her fully turned and patted the sit next to her. He smiled a little and sat down, "I'm guessing you want me to tell you what happened when you were glazed huh?" He asked making her giggle, "Glazed?" She asked. "It's what we called hypnosis." He said making her nod, "Well then it's like you can read my mind." She said making him laugh, she liked his laugh just like Jack liked her giggle. "I'll tell you everything you want to know, but then you must eat, your sister is worried after your little... dream." He said making Elsa sigh, "so.. you saw huh?" She said making him nod, "Yeah, I heard you scream and everything, what happened?" He asked.

She didn't know if she was ready to tell him about what she saw, she didn't know why she even saw it. "Jack, I don't know if I'm ready to tell you. And it's not because I don't trust you, I do. I just don't know... I just don't know how to explain it." She says. He felt her confusion, he understood and didn't blame her to not want to tell him. He grabbed her hand making her look at him, "Hey, you can tell me anything, or nothing. Either way, you're not alone." He said making Elsa smile as she put her head on his shoulder closing her eyes. She won't lie, she was afraid of Jack when they meet, and even after everything that happened the last 24 hours she was starting to feel safe with him.

Jack put his head on her head feeling comfortable being with Elsa and having her close to him.

"You'll never be alone again."

Hey guys! I know this is super late and I'm sorry, been working on a lot of stuff lately and my son is having molders popping through so that is hell on earth I swear.
