Chapter 11: Cross My Heart

"Promise me, no matter what happened, you will save my family... promise me." Elsa bagged as she looked at Jack, his eyes screaming at her, "Nothing will happen to you though... Nothing." He answered not believe it himself. Elsa placed her hand on his cheek, "Cross your heart." She says making him smile, "You're so childish..." He says but he crosses his heart, "I cross my heart...

"And hope to die." 

Elsa felt her eyes open she remember that, it was her premonition, the one she had a month before she meet Jack, why was she thinking about that? Then she felt a pain go through her head as she started to remember everything, the day she really meet Jack, Kristoff, and Rain. She's known them all for years, how she fell in love with Jack the minute she saw him feeding in the woods, he was Jackson Glass, the man she wanted to marry. She hissed in pain as the pain started to go down, she lifted her head to see she wasn't in the werewolf village anymore, she was in a bedroom, where was she? "Elsa... You're awake." She hears as she looks next to her to see someone she thought she'd never see in person again, "Mom..." She whispered as Elizabeth grabbed her hand, tears in her eyes.

"Oh Elsa..." she whispered as she pulled her in for a hug. Elsa hugged her as hard as she could, scared this was all a dream. "I thought I'd never see you again." She whispered as Elizabeth pulled back making her smile as she put her hands on her daughter's cheek, "Oh Elsa, look at you, all grown up." she says with a smile making Elsa smile. "She sure has." Elsa heard making her head turn to the door, Elizabeth's eyes following behind. By the door stood Henry and Elsa remembered everything about him. "Henry Glass... The bastard that took my mother and hurt his son." She hissed making Henry smile, "Well look at that, you remember me, I'm touched Elsa I really am." He says placing his hand on his heart as he walks over to the bed that Elsa laid on.

"Beth, please leave Elsa and I alone." Henry said making Elizabeth stand and started to walk out of the room. Elsa didn't try to make her stop, she knew she wouldn't so she waited until she was out of of the room before she punched Henry in the face and jumped of the bed. "You won't get to far love." Henry yelled as Elsa stopped and turned to him, "The moon is gone now, it's morning, and with that little thing around your neck." He said making Elsa touch her neck, she didn't notice a necklace around her. "You won't be able to use your powers." He laughed only to make Elsa more anger. She studied Henry, him and Jack had to same eyes, and their smiles were almost the same but Jack was gentle, not evil like Henry's and she could see a nice shiner going on his eye from the punch, good.

She remember meeting Henry once when she was little, when Ella and Henry come to visit them with Jack, she always had a bad vibe about him and she didn't like how he looked at her, just like he was looking at her now, almost a look of lust. He touched his eye lightly wincing a little, "You got a mean right hook, I'm impressed." He says but Elsa doesn't say anything, she held her ground. "You know, you look just like your mother." He says as Elsa glared, "Damn, you even have her glare down." "What do you want Henry?" She hissed making him smile agin, "What I always wanted, to kill all of the werewolves and have power." He answered.

"I will never help you." she growled making Henry point at her, "That... Is a good point you won't but... I bet you'd changed you mind if I say..." He started to circle her, making her more nervous just watching him watch her. "I kill everyone you love. Starting with your sister." He says stopping right in front of her. She felt her hand go into a fist. "And we know your little familiar of a boyfriend will be here soon... I'll kill him last." "You'd kill your own son.... Just to have my power?" She asked her voice shaking. "Jack doesn't want what I have to give him, it's time to let him be with his mother, don't you think?" He ask making her look away, "You're a monster."

Henry grabbed her chine pulling her so she had to look at him, "I'm only a monster because of the werewolves... Now... do you want to save the ones you love or not?" He ask his eyes going red. Elsa thought about her family... Jack... Her village, all dead because of her. "What do you want me to do?" She ask making him smirk, "Become my new familiar, I'll do the same swear I did with you mother, she will be free, along with everyone else you love and you will be with me." "And Jack? What will happen to him?" She ask. "He will live, where ever he wants. Here with us or in the woods like the wolves. I really don't care. It wouldn't surprise me that he didn't kill everyone there." He said making her slap his hand away from her.

"Jack isn't like you." She screamed. Henry liked her angry, even right now her blue eyes were turning violet, god he loved it. "You're right Elsa he isn't. But think... You'll be my familiar and Jack will be here, you can still have him, and your family will be safe. Doesn't that sound like the best of both worlds?" He ask. "Except I lose my freewill. And werewolves will lose their lives." She answered making Henry laugh, "What is freewill when it comes to family right? And the wolves, well they had it coming." He answered as she thought about Kristoff his family. "Come on Elsa, you know you can't say no. Because if you do, everyone dies." He says making her heart ache... she had no choice.

"Okay... I'll do it..." "Good choice love." Henry smiles as he started to reach for her neck, " But you leave that werewolves village alone, they have done nothing to you." she quickly adds making Henry stop. That village is where Ella meet her lover, which he killed, "Fine Elsa, fine, I'll leave that village, I've already did what I needed to do anyway." He adds as he takes her necklace off, "The the familiar spell first then we'll swear." "What if you go back on your word?" She ask. "ah you're smart but your mother's swear is still on me, I can't hurt your family." He says making her almost happy. She sighed as she covered Henry's mouth tears coming to her eyes. "With this spell, a familiar is power. With this kiss, a familiar is sworn." Elsa said the spell and pulled back as Henry's lips glowed a light violet. Her grabbed her arm hard pulling her close as she winced. "Another Windheart woman to kiss, and to own." He smirked.

Then he kissed her.

"Jack... Jack wake up." Jack heard as he slowly opened his eyes. He felt like shit, did he give to much blood to Elsa? Elsa... "Elsa!" Jack yelled before he felt his body go weak, like no air was going in his lungs, a bolder on his chest. "Easy mate, easy." Jack heard a calm voice as he looked to see Kristoff, Rain and Duke around him. "Kristoff..." He remembered Kristoff, he wasn't that skinny little kid he grew up with. He couldn't help but laugh alittle, "You could beat me up now with those muscles." Kristoff raised an eyebrow as Jack looked at Rain, Rain, god she grew up. "Rain, wow, you really grew up.." Jack laughed making Rain looked at Kristoff before Jack turned to Duke, "And Duke, still a spit fire, even when you were little." Jack smiled. "Wait... You remember me? When I was little?" Duke asked making Jack nod.

"I bite Elsa... I remember you all." He answered grabbing his chest, he was in so much pain. "You bite Elsa? Jack how... where is she?" Kristoff asked making Jack glare remembering, "My father took her... He took Elsa." He reached out his hand for Kristoff to help him up. "We have to go save her, before my father makes her into his familiar..." He winced as he tried to walk but didn't get to far. "What is wrong with you?" Rain asked taking Jack's other arm to hold him up. "I gave Elsa some of my blood, I almost killed her... It's a long story. But with me being away from her now, it's almost killing me. I need to get to her now." Jack growled looking at his friends. "Please.." Jack bagged.

Kristoff looked at his beat up friend, he saw this look before, back when Elsa got hurt as a kid and Jack couldn't help her. He turned to Duke, "Duke, get as many werewolves together, we're going after the Vampire Kingdom. The ones who can't fight, tell them to go the village of Sownfall, they'll be safe there." Kristoff said as he put Jack on his back. "What are you two going to do?" Duke asked as Rain held her ground, "We're going on ahead of you. Just meet us there." She says as she transforms into a white wolf looking at Jack. "Wow Rain..." Jack answered as Rain felt her cheeks get warm, it was little to late for him to see how powerful she was. "No time for us to walk down memory lane, we got to get there now." Kristoff answered as he started to run, Rain hot on his trail as Duke ran back to his village to get everyone ready.

Tonight, it was war.

Elsa fell on her arm hard as Henry throw her in a cage. "A powerful witch! You're nothing but a fake!" Henry yelled as he closed the gate. "I... I don't know what happened..." Elsa whispered as Elizabeth walked up to the cage looking at her daughter on the ground. "What did you do!?" Elizabeth asked her master as he looked back at her, "You're daughter is not a witch, she can't even do the familiar spell." Henry hissed making Elizabeth cover her mouth as she smiled but Henry saw it. "What are you fucken smirking about Beth? What do you know that I don't?" He yelled grabbing her by the throat making Elsa run to the bars holding them, "You let her go!" Elsa hissed her eyes going violet. Elizabeth held up her hand making Elsa back off.

"You stupid vampire... Else can't be a familiar when she is already a master." Elizabeth laughed as Henry let go of her looking a back at Elsa. Elsa stood tall locking eyes with Henry, he could feel her powers coming off of her, she was strong. "Undo the curse on my son." Henry yelled at Elsa who just shook her head, "I don't know how to." She smiled only making Henry more pissed. He looked back at Elizabeth, "Teach her the spell Beth." Henry ordered and for once Elizabeth could finally say, "I can't. A witch has to learn to undo the familiar spell alone." she said smiling again. Henry looked at the two witches as they stood almost next to each other, mocking him.

Never has his plan not work, never has this happened to him. But he knew how to get back at them. "Elizabeth." He said her name and Elizabeth knew something bad was going to happen. "Kill all the werewolves at the village." Elsa grabbed the bars and shook them, "We had a deal! You can't kill them!" Elsa yelled as Henry grabbed her hands putting his nails into her skin, "Our deal is broken since you are not my familiar!" Henry yelled as tears went into her eyes. Henry looked back at Elizabeth waiting for her orders to be finished even if her heart didn't want to. "Kill ever last one of them, and if my son is there, kill him." He hissed making Elsa cry out as her mother ran off almost mindless.

Henry looked back at Elsa who fell to the ground covering her eyes, "You shouldn't underestimate me Witch with the Violet Eyes."

Jack and Kristoff waited as Rain went around the castle to see how to get in. "Why can't you just walk in? You're the prince." Kristoff asked but Jack shook his head, "My father wants me dead, I can't just walk in." He answered as Jack slid on the ground holding his chest, the pain went down but he was still to far from Elsa that the pain was still there, making him weak. "I can't fight him this weak, I can't fight anyone this weak." Jack answered as Kristoff join him on the ground. "We'll get her back Jack, everything will be okay." Kristoff answers as he looked at the sun trying to set. "How is it a whole day went by?" Jack asked making Kristoff laugh, "You were out all night and half the day. Like you said, you gave a lot of blood to Elsa." Kristoff answered as they heard a rustle in a bush as Rain ran to them. She jumped on her hind legs going back to her human form, "It's really locked up tight, but I over heard them talking about witches working for the Vampire King. I can do that." She said with a smile.

"What do you mean?" Jack asked. "I'm half witch, I can make the same glow a witch has. If we show them to you, hurt, they'll let us in." Rain answered making Kristoff high five his sister, "You are a genius." He says as Rain flips her hair, "Took you long enough to notice." She says with a smile as she stopped and started to smell, "I smell our pack close by." She says making Kristoff nod, "Good, go tell them our plan, to wait for our wolf signal." Kristoff ordered as Rain transformed again and ran off. "This is really happening tonight isn't it?" Jack asked as Kristoff looked at him, he looked considered, hurt. "I never thought this day would come... the war my father wanted so badly.."

"A war that shouldn't of happened." Kristoff answered but wasn't sure if he should of. "Did... Did you know the werewolf my mother was in love with?" Jack asked making Kristoff stiffen up, he was worried he'd ask him. But he knew he had to tell him, "I did. He was my father's best friend." He couldn't help but laugh, "He... He actually hooked them up. I don't think he knew he was going to get them both killed." Kristoff said hurting his heart saying that. "The only one who should of died is my father, and tonight... It will happen."

Jack was going to kill his father with his own hands, he would not hesitate if it meant saving Elsa. Jack and Kristoff heard a howl as Rain joined them again back in human form, "They are ready and waiting." Rain said with a small smile. "And the children?" Kristoff asked as he helped Jack up, "In Snowfall, safe." She said as she looked at Jack, "here's the plan, Kristoff, you are going to be my familiar, and Jack you need to look asleep, or half dying." "I can do that." Jack says as Kristoff picked him up as Jack closed his eyes making Rain smile,

"Alright you two... Let's do this."

Elsa couldn't stop crying, she did this... She killed her friends, the man she loved, and her family... She didn't even know where her family was. "I'm so sorry... I'm sorry I study witch craft... If I didn't... No one would be hurt." Elsa whispered to herself as she felt a hand on her shoulder making her look up to see Arther and Anna looking at her. "Papa... Anna!" She screamed as she hugged them as tight as she could. "How..." "We had to wait until mother and Henry left, she hide us so we could be in the same cage." Anna's answered holding her sister. "So you heard then..." Elsa answered as they pulled away but Arther kept his hands on his daughter's shoulders, "Elsa, I am so proud of you. You've done everything right, you got us to see your mother again, and you became such a strong and powerful young witch. I am proud to call you my daughter."

Arther grabbed Anna pulling her close, "To call you both my daughters." Elsa felt safe in her father's arms but... It was time to tell them the truth, something she hid form them for almost two months. "Guys... I need to tell you about my premonition." Elsa said as she pushed away from them. "The one you had when you locked us out?" Anna asked making her nod, "Yes... I didn't want to tell you because I didn't know how it happened, or when. But now... I'm sure it'll happen... tonight." Anna and Arther slide on the ground both on one side of Elsa as she took a deep breath.

"Don't worry, we'll get them somewhere safe and come back to help you." Kristoff says as he grabbed Anna's hand and started to run off with Arther and Rain behind them. It was good they were leaving, Elsa didn't want anyone else to get hurt. She felt someone grab her hand as she looked up to see Jack. "I'm so happy you're safe." He said placing his hand on her cheek, making her feel safe. "I'm sorry for all of this... If we had never.." "Don't. If I didn't meet you, my life would be meaningless." Jack interrupted as he kissed her, a kiss he need. Elsa kissed him back, with as much as she could before she pulled back putting her forehead on his.

"Promise me, no matter what happened, you will save my family... promise me." Elsa bagged as she looked at Jack, his eyes screaming at her, "Nothing will happen to you though... Nothing." When Elsa opened her eyes, the premonition changed into a room, she was holding a sword hitting back her mother who started to attack her. "Elsa I'm sorry!" Elizabeth yelled throwing another attack as Elsa quickly changed into a bird missing the attack and started to fly to her. She did a flip making her human again as she jumped on her mother's shoulders pushing her to the ground. "So am I." She hissed as she got up to see Jack and Henry fighting.

Jack wasn't strong enough to defeat his father, no one was. She look down at her sword and knew what she had to do. She heard a grunt as she looked to see Jack pushed on the ground Henry standing over him. "You useless, ungrateful child! I gave you everything! You would of rule! But you choice a witch over your family! Fine..."

Henry moved his hand showing a dagger ready to kill. "Say hello to your mother." He said as he quickly went down with the dagger. Jack closed his eyes but he didn't feel anything, all he heard was a wince and Elsa felt a pain as she jumped in front of Jack, taking the dagger in the heart. The last thing she heard was something screaming her name.

Rain walked tall with Kristoff next to her and Jack in his arms as they walked to the front door. Two guards blocked the door as they approached. "That's far enough." One of the guards yelled holding up a sword. Rain just rolled her eyes, "Oh please like you're going to scare a witch with a sword? I'm here to give our master something." Rain said as she pointed her eyes at Jack. The guards followed as they feel their eyes widen, "Prince Jack... is he..." "He is alive but hurt, my familiar was a little rough on him. I'm still training him." Rain said patting Kristoff on the head making him growl at her. "Now if you would excuse us, we need to get him to the dungeon and tell the King. Or would you two like me to explain to our King how you two idiots let the Prince escape?" Rain hissed making the guards back up before they unblocked the door, "Our apologies.." One said as Rain, Kristoff and Jack step through.

When they were away from the guards Jack opened his eyes, "Keep going down this hallway, there'll be a door at the end, that's where the dungeon is at." "Hopefully Elsa will be there." Kristoff whispered making Jack nod, but he could feel her close, she had to be there. As they reach the door, Kristoff put Jack on the ground and he could stand on his own, "Elsa is down there, let's move." He said as they started to walk down the stairs. He could hear people crying, calling for help, it was hurting the group.

"So the rumors were true, he kept witches down here..." Rain said crossing her arms. "All the rumors of my father are true." Jack said as he started to run, Elsa was close he could heard her heartbeat. "Keep up." He said. He kept running until he reached the last cage with her back turned, Jack saw the snow white he loved. He saw two other people by her but he didn't want to look at them, just her. He started to walk to her worried what might happen. "Henry tried to kill Jack... to save him, Henry kill me instead." Jack heard making him freeze, no.. no. "Elsa are you sure you saw it right?" Jack heard the voice next to her say and he knew it was Anna and Arther with her.

"I didn't just see it Anna, I felt it... the pain going in my heart..." Elsa said before she heard a noise behind her making her feeling tears go into her eyes.

"Jack..."

Hey guys! I know it's been awhile since I updated so I made this chapter a little longer for you all! It's not my favorite but it's okay because we got to know more on what is happening.
