Chapter 10: Memories of the Past, Can Haunt your Present

"Now Elsa, stay close, we don't want you to get lost now do we?" Elsa heard her mother yell as she ran off into the woods. It was the first time her mother took her out when she went to visit the werewolves, she was so excited to see them for the first time. "Mama, why didn't we bring papa and Anna?" Elsa ask as Elizabeth caught up to her energetic seven year old daughter. "Well, Anna is still young baby so your papa is staying home to watch her." She placed her hand on Elsa's head making her giggle, "I bought you so you can meet someone." She says as they reach a small village and Elsa gasped, everywhere she looked were wolves and some humans. She never saw anything so special before. Elizabeth grabbed her daughter's hand and started to walk, "Now remember, no magic you're still learning and be kind, everyone here is very nice."

Elsa nodded as they walked up a black wolf and a woman with shaggy dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. "Elizabeth, it's so nice to see you again." The woman waved making Elizabeth wave back as they stopped in front of them. Now being close to the wolves, Elsa was starting to get nervous, what if she messed up and did something stupid? The woman looked down to see Elsa hiding behind Elizabeth's back. "Ah." She says she went down to Elsa's level, "You must be Elsa. I'm Aria, it's very nice to meet you." She say as Elsa shakes her hand feeling the same feeling she felt when she touched her mother's hand, "You're a witch!" Elsa said with excitement making Elizabeth and Aria laugh, "That I am and this wolf right here is my husband, Isaac."

Isaac looked at Elsa before he jumped to his back legs and turned into a handsome man with red hair and brown eyes. He bowed his head, "It's lovely to meet you Elsa." He says as he looks at Elizabeth, "And it's always nice to see you Elizabeth, how is your youngest and your husband?" "They are both fine thank you. Where are Rain and Kristoff?" She ask making Aria roll her eyes, "They would be the lake playing." "And Ella, is she here yet?" Elizabeth ask making Aria nod, "She's in the tent feeding." Elizabeth nodded as she look down at Elsa, "Why don't you go look around." She ask making Elsa nod as she let go and started to walk around. "Don't go to far, only to the lake!" Elsa heard her mother yell as she kept walking.

The village itself was nice, everyone was working or playing, they took care of everyone. It remind her of her village which made her glade. She started to walk away from the village a little more into the woods when she heard a cry. She froze when she heard the cry go louder, it sounded like an animal dying. She started to run, what if it was one of the wolves and they were hurt? She listen closer knowing she was getting closer to the cry. She stopped when she saw a boy around her age bend over a deer, his mouth by it's neck. The boy stopped when he felt fear go up his spine. He turned to see a girl with white as snow hair and fear in her light blue eyes. Elsa looked closer at the boy, shaggy white hair and dark blue eyes that were slowly going light blue with blood all over his mouth.

The boy stood up locking eyes with Elsa, "Please... It's not what you think." The boy said calm making Elsa calm. "What... What are you doing?" She ask as the boy step closer to her, keeping his eyes locked on hers so she won't run. "I... I was feeding..." The boy answered and he felt more fear go through is skin, "But the deer, the deer is still alive." The boy yelled quickly as he turned his head breaking eye contact but Elsa didn't run, she didn't scream, she looked to see what the boy was looking at to see the deer standing up again as it shook it's head and ran off.

"See." He answered as he looked back at Elsa, "I don't drink enough to kill, my mother would be very upset with me if I did that." He said making Elsa raise an eyebrow as she step closer to him, "Who are you?" she ask as Jack tried to wipe the blood from his lips. Elsa sighed as she grabbed his hand putting a handkerchief to his mouth, "Use this dummy." She said making the boy's cheeks get red, he wasn't this close to a girl before, especially someone this cute. He wiped his mouth, "Jack... My name is Jack." He says making Elsa smile, "I'm Elsa, I'm a witch." She said excited making Jack happy, she was excited to meet him, she wasn't scared anymore.

"I'm a vampire." He whispers making her circle him, what was she doing? "A vampire? I never meet a vampire before." She says as she stops in front of him again and gets close to his face making Jack nervous, "Have you ever have witch blood before?" She ask making Jack blush again, "I... Um... No... I only drink form animals and humans if they let me." Jack answered making Elsa step back. "So you won't attack me unless I let you?" She ask making Jack nod, "We have to have permission to drink from someone, unless it's the full moon or the blood moon, then we can do as we please, it's hard to control ourselves around that time." Jack answered making Elsa put her finger to her lips, "Hmm... What happens to the person you drink from?" She ask she was so curious on this boy, and she couldn't help but think he was cute. "I... I'm not sure. My mother says they just find peace and they are happy."

"Does it hurt?" She ask and Jack shook his head, "It's feels like a pinch for a few seconds but then you feel happy but... I can make you feel happy without bitting you." Jack says with a shy smile making Elsa giggle, "Oh yeah? How?" She ask as Jack locked eyes with her as she saw his dark blue eyes turn light. Suddenly Elsa felt happy, like nothing bad could ever happen. "It's one of my powers, I can make anyone feel any emotions I want, and I can feel what they are feeling too." He said as he turned away but Jack could still feel Elsa being happy. Elsa was amazed by this boy, she wanted to know everything about him. "Okay, let me calm down alittle." She said and took a deep breath, "Okay, what am I feeling now?" She ask as Jack closed his eyes, "Umm... Excited, you like talking to me. You... Want to know more about me." He says opening his eyes making Elsa nod, "I really do." She answered as she grabbed Jack's hand he looked down feeling heat to his cheeks and his heart beating out of control, is this what love feels like?

"Hmm, it looks like they meet." Elizabeth said as she watched Elsa and Jack talk. "I guess our work here is done." Ella says as she looks at her friend. Elizabeth never thought in her life she would be best friends with a vampire, or even think of having an almost arranged marriage with their kids but they kids will never know, they'd never know they were the reason they meet.

Elsa snuck downstairs as she heard someone crying. "I just don't know what to do Elizabeth..." Elsa heard as she stopped to see Jack's mother crying while her mama held her. "Are you sure you heard this right Ella?" Elizabeth ask as Arther walked into the room with tea in hand. "Yes, yes I heard him right. Henry is trying to start a war with the werewolves..." Ella cried making Arther look at his wife who was trying to figure out how this happen. "Do you think he found out..." "There's no way he found out... How would he know I was going to take Jack and leave him?" "But why the werewolves? You were planing on moving here in the Snowfall right?" Arther ask making Ella look up, tears staining her face.

Arther looked into her eyes until it clicked, "Oh Ella..." He whispered making her cry harder. "How long?" He asked his wife. "For a few month now... Arther you knew they were having problems." Elizabeth answered. "Yes, I just.... How did you two meet?" Arther asked. "We meet four years ago when Elizabeth and I had Elsa and Jack meet. We just... clicked. I wasn't expecting to fall in love with him... I'm so assumed." Ella cried into her hands as Elizabeth held her again. "Ella, I think it's best that you go home, get Jack and leave, come back here if you like." Arther answered making Elizabeth nod, "Yes, I think that's a good idea, I'll even come with you Incase Henry tries to do anything."

Ella looked up at her friends, lucky she had them in her life. "Thank you, thank you both." Ella cried as she stood and started to walk to the door, "I'll be there soon Ella." Elizabeth yelled as she turned to her husband, "I'll be back soon. Get a bed ready for Ella and Jack." Elizabeth says as she kisses her husband. "Be safe my love." Arther whispers as he watched his wife leave, almost feeling like the world was ending there. Elsa slowly snuck back into her bed, excited to see Jack again but also worried, worried that something was going to happened tonight... Something bad.

"Please be fast my love, we don't have much time." Ella explained to her son as Jack started to pack a bag of clothes and other things he needed. "Is father coming with us?" Jack asked making Ella freeze, what was she to tell Jack? "Umm.." Ella said clearing her throat, "No baby, he'll stay here and rule over the kingdom while we're gone." Ella answered as she grabbed Jack, "We're going to go away, away from here and start a new life, just us. Okay?" She answered as Jack felt fear in her, she was scared to leave, she was scared that his father was going to find them. "Mother... What are you hiding?" Jack asked. "I would also like to know that Ella." Jack heard as he felt his mother dig her nails into Jack's arms. She slowly turned around to see Henry by the door his hands behind his back, glaring at her, his eyes dark red.

"Henry... How long..." "Long enough my love." Henry answered as he stepped into the room making Ella push Jack back. "Elizabeth!" Ella yelled making Henry laugh, "Oh I'm sorry, but Beth is a little... Busy right now."

"What did you do to her Henry!?" Ella yelled as Jack looked at his father, he never saw his father so upset before, he almost felt... Evil. "I did nothing to her, I just... knocked her out. I mean she's to strong for me to daze her but you know a candlestick works just as well." He joked making Ella glare at him showing her teeth. "I'm taking Jack and we're leaving Henry." Ella said trying to be brave even though she wasn't. Henry look down at Jack, "You want to take my only son away from me? The only true ruler of this kingdom once I'm done? And do what Ella? Raise him with wolves?" He ask making Ella's eyes widen.

"Oh right, you didn't know... Yeah I found out about your little affair with a wolf. I mean... it wasn't hard to figure it out with you sneaking to that little wolf village." "I told you it was so Jack..." "Right so Jack can meet that witch with the violet eyes, you know if she's really Beth's daughter, I bet she'll be just as powerful... Maybe... I can use her for this war." Henry laughed as Ella stepped away form Jack. "You stay away from that family Henry! And that village!" Ella yelled getting into Henry's face. He kept looking at his wife, the woman who gave him a son. He was in love with her, but she broke that when she fucked a wolf, disguising. He sighed, "Fine, you may go." Henry answered as he step aside making Ella confused but didn't want to risk him changing his mind. "Come on Jack." she whispered as Jack ran to her grabbing her hand.

As they started to leave the room Ella heard Henry clear his throat, "Oh Ella... Before you go, I have something for you." He says as Ella turns around to see Henry throw something at her. She let of Jack's hand and catch the head of her lover. She screamed as she dropped the head and looked at the blood on her hands. "You know, it was so much fun making him tell me how great you are in bed, and how much he loves you. But it was even more fun drinking him dry and taking his head for you." Ella looked up at her husband to see him smirking at her, "I do hope you like my gift Ella." He laughed as Ella screamed as ran to attack him knowing that she was going to, Henry grabbed Ella by the arm and held her close.

"Let go of her!" Jack yelled as he ran to his father as Henry pulled back his hand and hit Jack making him hit the mirror behind him having glass fall down his eye scratching him. "Stay down boy if you know what's good for you!" Henry yelled as Ella screamed, "Jack! Run! Run!" Ella yelled before Henry grabbed her neck, "You really need to learn to stay quite my dear." He said as he bite down hard on her neck making her cry out in pain. Henry pulled back ripping her throat out sending her lifeless body to the ground by Jack.

Jack put his back to the broke glass covering his right eye as his mother's blood started to move to him. Henry walked over to him, his mouth covered in blood as he lowers himself down to him, "Don't worry son, soon, you won't remember a thing." He said with a smile as he stood up and kicked him as hard as he could in the head making Jack black out.

Jack wanted to see more, he wanted to know more, he wanted more blood. He sunk his teeth in more making Elsa moan, she could feel her life and energy start to drain but she didn't care, she was peaceful. Jack could tell, this girl was close to death but it was like he didn't care, why didn't he care? "Jackson!" He heard someone call his name before someone grab him pulling him back away from Elsa. He fell on his back to be pinned down by another woman, a stronger woman. "Let go of me! Let me kill her!" Jack yelled as he felt the woman pin him down more. "What the hell..." She started until she saw his eyes, his light blue eyes glazed over. "Holy shit... You're dazed. Someone dazed you..." the woman said as Jack started to struggle more.

Jack didn't know what this woman was saying, all he saw was the half dead girl on the ground with blood that he wanted. The woman moved her body to pin him down as she raised a hand, "I am so sorry." She said as she slapped him as hard as she could. Jack felt the crack on his cheek as he blinked and looked around, his head was killing him, "What... What happened?" Jack asked as he looked up to see Elizabeth pinning him down. "Elizabeth what..." "There's no time to explain, you need to save Elsa!" Elizabeth yelled as she got off of him and Jack saw her, his love on the ground, barely breathing.

"Elsa... God Elsa..." Jack yelled as he crawled to her holding her. "What the hell did I do?" He asked as he felt tears come in to his eyes. "Jack, you need to give her blood, now." Elizabeth yelled as Jack looked at her, "But... Mixing blood could kill her!" Jack yelled but Elizabeth shook her head, "She's the strongest right now under the full moon, do it now or she will die... Please!" Elizabeth bagged. It was killing her seeing her daughter like this and not be able to help her. Jack looked back down at Elsa, "I'm so sorry my love." Jack whispered as he moved his wrist to his mouth and bite hard to make blood fall. He put it to her mouth as he saw her throat started to move as she shallowed.

Slowly, she moved her hand up to Jack's arm holding it closer making him sigh with relief, she was getting her strength back. "How could I do this to you?" Jack asked himself as he felt Elizabeth sit down next to him, "You didn't... Someone else did." She answered making him look at her. "You were dazed... Someone dazed you." she said making Jack's blood boil, "But I didn't see..." He stopped when he felt his memories come back, he wasn't alone at the lake when he left Kristoff and Rain this morning. "Jack?" He heard Elizabeth as he laughed a little, "I ran here, to the lake when I found out somethings today, to clear my head. I heard a noise behind me and when I turned, everything went black and I just remember wanting to..." He had to shallow the words, it was to hard to say.

"You father has spies all over this forest, it doesn't surprise me he sent someone to daze you when you were weak..." She says making Jack sigh, of course he did. "He knows you can kill her without breaking our swear." "But he doesn't know she's a witch..." Jack said softly as he felt Elsa lower her head, falling asleep. Jack could feel her pulse come back to life making him happy she was okay, that she was alive. "He knows now... He.... He used my family. He also knows you are her familiar." She answered making Jack close his eyes, fuck. "Jack... do you remember what happened in the past?" She ask making Jack open his eyes, he did.

"My father killed my mother." He whispered breaking Elizabeth's heart. "Do you remember anything else?" "You and my mother tried to hook Elsa and I up, you wanted us to be together... Why?" He asked making Elizabeth smile as she placed her hand on Elsa's forehead, "Because I knew you would love her just like she loves you. And it was your mother's dream to be a family together, to get away from your father." She says as she closed her eyes, she whisper a spell so when Elsa woke up, she would have her memories back, it was time she remembered.
"Do you know who took our memories?" He asked making her nod as she sat back, "I did..." She answers making Jack's head snap up at her, "I took Elsa's memories to keep her safe and your father... When I became your father's familiar, he made me rewrite your memories of him killing Ella, he wanted you to hate werewolves so you would help him kill them, to make it look like a werewolf gave you that scar when really..."

"My father did. He did everything in his power to make me like him but... I'm not." Jack said quietly as Elizabeth smiled, "That's because I kept what your mother taught you. So you would never become like Henry. I took the memories of Elsa and this village away from you. But I knew one day, you would find Elsa again." She says as she looked at her daughter, her beautiful daughter that has become a wonderful witch. "I'm going to kill him for what he did." Jack says as he watched Elsa's chest move, he would kill him for hurting Elsa, for making him almost kill her. Elizabeth felt her eyes widen, "Jack, you need to leave, now. I have to report back to your father that I found you. He want you to come home, for Elsa to be dead... you need to run." Elizabeth said her voice shaking.

Jack wanted to run but it wasn't away from his father, it was to him, to stab him in the heart. "I'll take Elsa and keep her safe, he won't get her." Jack said. "Oh I wouldn't be so sure son." Jack heard making his heart stop as he turned to see his father with three guards. "Henry... How..." "A little birdie told me that he put a little whisper in my son's ear, I just wanted to see if he did what he was told." Henry said as he looked to see the sleeping Elsa. "And I see that you failed." Henry said as he looked at a guard who was looking at the ground, "You are useless." He said as he looked at Elizabeth, "Beth break his neck." Henry said with a smile as Elizabeth's hand moved on her own breaking the neck of the guard that was only doing his job.

She felt sick to her stomach doing that while Jack was just ready to watch his father's blood fall to the ground. "Well, since Elsa is alive, I guess I can just take her then." He said as Jack stood up along with Elizabeth, "You can't have her father!" Jack yelled only to make Henry laugh, "Oh really? Why? Because she's your master? Or... Because you love her?" Henry asked making Jack glare at him making Henry clap his hands, "Holy shit, you remember. You remember how you fell in love with a witch. How wonderful." He said as he stepped closer to his son, "Do you also when I ripped the throat of your whore of a mother? Because that still makes me smile to this day." He said making Jack snap.

He went charging at his father only to have Henry step to the side grabbing Jack before he kneed him in the stomach making Jack fall to the ground. "Jesus Jack, it's like you never learned." He said as he put his foot on Jack's back pinning him down, "You can't beat me. I will always win and I always get what I want." He said with a laugh as he looked at his familiar, "Beth my dear, could you please pick up Elsa and bring her to the castle, I bet she would like to be with her family again." He said as Elizabeth felt her body move on its on. "Please Henry don't do this." she bagged but Henry just rolled his eyes as he moved his foot off of Jack just to kick him to make sure he was down.

"Don't bag Beth, it's not attractive." He says as he starts to walk off, "Better hurry and catch us Jack, unless you want your master to be calling me master." Henry laughed as him, Elizabeth and Elsa walked off leaving Jack alone by the lake, hurt and broken, feeling like his world was falling apart.

Knowing well that it was.

Hey guys! So we've learned more about Jack and Elsa's past and what Henry does for power! this chapter was a lot of fun to write and I can't wait to write the next one.
