I walked into the class and took my earphones off.

I had decided to wear all black today cause it was comparatively cold. I wore a loose black dress that came upto mid thigh, black stockings, black skin jacket and black converse.

I sat down next to the window, as usual. But this time I was thinking about Ayato. I couldn't get him off my mind.

As if on que I heard a chair moving next to me and of course it was Ayato.

What happened to the guy who used to sit there? He was probably scared of Ayato too.

"Morning"

I sighed.

"Yeah. Morning."

He snapped his fingers in front of my face. I was forced to look at him a and his eyes were like pools of death.

Please don't let me drown in them.

"You seem lost"

Yeah. Lost in your eyes.

"I'm not lost"

I sighed and turned away. The teacher kept talking about chemicals and other reactive stuff.

I wish he could explain why Ayato made me react... Strangely.

I took notes and I had an urge to see what he looks like when he's paying attention.

I slightly turned my head to see him. He was already looking at me. I quickly looked away and I swear I saw him smirk.

Cocky bastard.

I walked out of class not even wanting to see him again and headed towards the lunch room.

Everything went black for a second and when I opened my eyes I was in an empty classroom behind Ayato who was hovering over me.

I felt him holding my waist tight and when I tried to struggle his grip became even tighter.

My face was heating up again. I asked him..

"What if someone sees us?"

"No one would dare to.. Besides it doesn't matter cause this will be quick"

"What-"

He kissed my neck and I gasped.

What the hell?

My stomach flipped.

He nipped on the skin there and it was surprisingly nice.

I didn't want it but I also wanted it.

He slowly ran his tongue over the slightly burning bite marks.

Jerk.

They were visible and obvious.

Goodbye to being unnoticeable.

He dragged me out by my elbow and then let go when we were out.

"Walk"

He said as I was too dazed to walk. He started walking beside me. A couple of girls gasped at us or rather my neck. I ignored them but I know right? They look awful. Their whispers were audible.

"Do you think they're dating?"

"Maybe. Look their clothes match."

I walked towards the next class. I saw him from the corner of my eye. He was wearing a black shirt with sleeves rolled up and black jeans and black converse.

He looked super hot and we actually looked like we'd planned what we were supposed to wear.

I had the next two hours with Hide and I was happy because he was one of my closest friends other than Kazuna. I was sitting in between the two of them in class. Hide was staring at my neck and so was Kazuna. She squealed, making the teacher glare at us.

"Urusai Kazuna!"

"Who is it! I can't BELIVE you finally-"

I shut her mouth by placing my palm over her lips. Hide looked at me confused and slightly shocked.

"I thought you had a crush on Kaneki"

I thought about Kaneki. Where was he? I didn't know what to tell Hide because I was still thinking about the scene with Ayato.

"So you got over that crush huh"

He said and opened his notebook. I nodded no but the answer was yes. He looked at me.

"He was discharged by the way"

"Huh"

"Yeah. He's missing according to police."

"Oh. Have you tried his cell hide?"

"Yeah. He won't answer but it's available. He joint that anteiku cafe"

"Oh. I'll go and meet him later."

"Hai"

I walked with Kazuna till the lunch room. She kept asking me who it was ,kept yapping about how adorable and purple they were. I hushed her.

"It's Ayato"

"OHMYGOSH THAT'S-"

I shut her up again with my palm and she couldn't calm down. She was adorable.

After Kazuna was done squealing, she passed me her plate of food. It was ramen and spiced cauliflower. I gulped it down quickly.

I walked her home then I walked myself home. I stopped midway, searching in my bag for my mp3 cause it wasn't there. I heard footsteps behind me.

"Forgetting something?"

I immediately recognised the familiar voice. I whipped my neck around which made my hair cover my face and then go back in place. He was holding my mp3 with his thumb and his forefinger.

"You took it"

"Borrowed. You shouldn't be listening to too many of those crap love songs you know"

"You went through my playlist. Jerk!"

I grabbed it back from him and started walking again. Just twenty more steps and I'll be home. He pulled my hand and stared into my eyes.

"Jerk?"

I felt guilty.

"Gomene"

"Hmm. Better"

Why the hell am I even apologising?

I wanted to scream my lungs out saying
AYATO YOU'RE THE BIGGEST JERK IN THIS ENTIRE UNIVERSE. but I didn't.

He is weird. He might bite me again.

I freed my hand and walked away. He didn't follow this time.

I locked the door from the inside of my house. I heard the phone ringing. I picked it.

"Hello"

I heard two heart warming voices. Mom and dad.

They yelled. I held the phone slightly away from my ears.

"HOSHI!"

"Hi mom hi dad"

"Are you fine?"

"Yeah"

"The weather here in London is amazing. Can you visit?"

"Errr no I have classes"

"Oh. We're proud of you honey"

"Uh. Thanks?"

"So how's everything in college? Did you meet some special boy?"

I almost choked.

"Uh mom I have to go I'll call later."

"Sure"

I changed into my pjs and stared at the TV.

"Silver leech has not been around for five days. We are assuming the area is safe. Have a good evening-"

That's it. I slept for a while and woke up at 11:50pm.

I wore the black tapes that covered my skin entirely, except for my eyes, oversized coat that made me look like a man and my converse cause they helped me jump higher because of their light weight.

I put the hood on.

I jumped over four buildings until I got a sweet scent. It was a drunk guy. Pathetic. But perfect.

I blocked the mans path. His breath reeked of alcohol. I quickly snapped his neck and his breathing stopped.

Dead.

I sucked each drop of blood from his body and then chewed on the dry and almost crisp flesh.

That was just the appetiser. I need more. I heard someone running. Oh great another human saw me.

"Annoying"

I finished him off as well. Such a weird man. Kept saying "don't take my money" he thought I was a thief. How insulting.

I went back home, changed back to the pjs, grabbed my phone and rolled on my spring bed. I had a text message.

It was Ayato. I didn't reply. I pull the covers over my head and fell asleep. The morning next day I made myself a strong cup of coffee and thought about meeting him.

I took the bus to the ward near the cafe. I entered the cafe and Kaneki immediately recognised me.

He was the only one who knew about my ghoul nature and didn't judge me.
I was wondering about how Kaneki would manage eating. I spoke up.

"Hide told me you were working here"

"Hoshi chan"

"Yeah. Kaneki. Why didn't you tell me? You knew everything about me."

"I feel like a monster Hoshi chan"

I saw a dark grape coloured hair girl stare at us.

"Who's that?"

"That's Touka chan. She saved my life."

"Oh. You're fine now?"

"Yeah. I'm fine. I'll attend a few classes."

I bid farewell to him, came back home and fell asleep on the couch. I woke up with a serious neck pain next morning, when I went to brush my teeth I saw the purple marks fading. I was glad.

I wore a high neck shirt,skinny black jeans, blue vans. I walked with my mp3 in my hand because the god damned jeans didn't have pockets.

Before I entered the college Ayato dragged me to a dark street, he was hovering me as always.

My heart started picking up pace but I was calmer than usual.

"You didn't reply"

"I fell asleep"

"You didn't come to college yesterday"

"I had to meet Kaneki"

"Why?"

"Because he wasn't keeping well"

"What happened to him?"

"He uhh..."

"Why don't you just admit you like that crap bag"

No Ayato. I'm already falling in love with you.

"Sh- shut up"

"Tch. Annoying."

He fiddled with my collar.

"You think you can go unnoticed wearing this?"

He held my hands behind my back with one of his hands, the other busy holding my head in place. He bit me right under my jawline. It was painful this time.

"Ow!"

He walked away. I walked to my class, Kazuna was creepily smiling at me. I ignored her smiles and attended all the classes successfully without glancing at Ayato.

I didn't see Kaneki around lunch so I looked outside. I saw him puking. I ran towards him and put my hand on his shoulder. He was sobbing quietly.

"It's okay"

"I'm a monster. I tried to harm Hide-"

He looked miserable. I hugged him, trying to calm him down, rubbing circles on his back. He did quieten. He had his chin on my head, my head near his chest. I spoke up after realising how weak he was getting.

"You have to do it to live."

"I can't"

"You will"

I gave him a reassuring smile. He took a deep breath. Hide came running to hug him.

"Kkaaaanekiiiii. Bakaaa!!!!

"Hide"

"I'll get going now"

"Okay"

"Haiii!"

Hide was hyperactive and it was cute. I ruffled his hair.

While I was walking back to class and felt someone next to me. Ayato.

"You must be mad"

I didn't answer him. He can't just go around biting me. Vampire shit.

"Answer me"

I looked at him in eye. Don't drown in death pools. Don't drown. Don't.

"Yes. Does that make a difference to you!?"

"Maybe."

I was becoming slightly excited then he took it all away.

"Maybe not"

Those annoying girls were here again. Our outfits were not matching. Thank god for that. They spoke a little too loudly.

"They seem to be together"

"Are they a couple?"

Ayato glared at them, they hurried off.
He looked back at me. Expression unreadable.

"Did you hear that?"

I nodded, looking away.

"Do you want to be like that?"

"Like what?"

"Those girls mentioned the exact word"

"You mean a couple?!"

"Something like that"

I wanted to say yes. But this wasn't a nice way to ask.

"What an absurd way of asking someone out."

"Fine"

He pinned me to a locker and whispered in my ear. Everyone was looking.

"Be mine"

I pushed him off and he chuckled. While walking away, I answered him.

"Would love to"

He smirked and walked to his class. My face wouldn't calm down. My heart wouldn't calm down and my legs were still weak.
