~2 years later 

We had finished graduating. Successfully without eating any of our classmates.

I helped him with all his assignments and still he got a higher grade than me.

Bastard.

We were in my house, we lived together now.

"That bastard" He yelled at the phone and hung up.

"Who was that?" I asked.

"Ah nobody, just a few random lil shits" He said, shrugging it off.

"Okay. Oh!" I exclaimed as he grabbed my hand and yanked me to te couch.

I was in top of him.

He started to bite my neck.

"Jeez Ayato, I'm not your exclusive chew toy ok" I said and he chuckled.

"Haha but you are my exclusive girlfriend" he said in between laughs.

"Okay" I said rushing to pick my phone that had started to ring.

It was mom and dad.

"Hoshi, pack all your things we're coming to pick you up and leave" dad said.

"But-" everything was perfect, me and Ayato and aogiri.

"You have graduated, now come back, pack everything quickly, I know you can and we're coming to pick you then we'll leave for London immediately" dad continued.

I couldn't disobey my parents. I couldn't tell Ayato.

They were the most important to me.

I started to pack after sending Ayato away by telling him I had some work and he surprisingly obliged.

I was done packing by night and my house looked so empty.

After getting up next morning I got a call from my parents.

It was my last day in Japan.

I had to see Ayato once.

"Come meet us at Re cafe at exactly 1pm" my dad said and hung up.

I got dressed, it was already 11am.

I stacked the boxes and called Ayato, maybe I could spend a few hours, maybe he'd understand.

He didn't answer any of my calls or my texts.

Why?

I went to his house and he wasn't there.

Did they give him a mission?

This is not happening. 

It was already getting late so I just went to the cafe.

My parents looked very happy to see me and in general they were overly happy today.

"You look so grown up!" Mom said.

"I agree oh Hoshi have you packed?" He asked.

"Yeah dad" I replied.

They already ordered coffee for me.

I started to sip on it, still trying to text Ayato.

"We will be leaving in about 15 minutes" my dad and mom said as they looked around over and over again.

"Who are you looking for?" I asked.

"The waitress dear" my dad answered.
I saw Ayato all of a sudden and he was walking towards us.

Shit he's going to talk to me in front of my parents.

I started to sip on my coffee with more intensity, trying to make him go somewhere else.

He didn't get the signal, he dragged a chair and sat with us.

I almost choked on the last sip of my coffee, a metal inside the cup brushed against my lips.

I opened my eyes wide and shook the cup to see what it was.

Ayato grabbed the cup and took a napkin wiping the metal.

"He's perfect for her isn't he?" my mom whispered in my dads ear.

What the? They knew?

Ayato got down on both his knees, something he hated and held out a ring.

Black Diamond.

For silver leech.

I felt like someone stabbed my chest and I couldn't breathe or talk.

"We know you love him Hoshi, say yes" my dad said, bored.

"Will you marry me?" Ayato asked.

The whole cafe had their eyes on us now.

"Yes" I managed to whisper.

He put the ring on my hand and sat down next to me.

"He called us here" my mom said, in between her tears of joy.

"He asked permission too" my dad said, he was impressed with this jerk fiancee of mine?

"We're so happy for you" they said and started to talk random stuff.

"Wait then why did you tell me to pack?" I asked, while Ayato held my hand under the table.

"That's because you're shifting to my house" He said and moved his hand to my thigh.

My parents were busy in their conversations. Ayato came closer to my ear.

"I'm doing this only so I can get laid and also it'll be legal" He whispered.

I gaped at him for a few seconds.

"I'm kidding I'm kidding" He said and I wanted to break his hot face.

But I'm saving that for after marriage.
"You bastard" I said, smiling at him, as though I was telling him something nice.

"I love you too honey" He said and then he winked.
