Emma as usual was away on business so she had asked you to watch her cute puppy pancho. You being one of her good friends said yes. She wanted to check up on you during her free time, so she FaceTimed.

You answered her call, as you sat at the kitchen table at her house, "Hey, em. What's up?"

"Oh nothing. Just waiting to go on. You're gonna watch right?" Emma ask.

"Of course. But that isn't the only reason you called is it?" You noticed Emma casually looking to the side.

She mumbled, "No. I- I just wanted to check on you and pancho." She admitted.

You sighed. She always did this when she was away. She ask you to watch pancho, then she would call and act as if she isn't worried, but you never understood why she asks you to watch her dog if she doesn't really want you to.

"If you don't want me to watch your dog, just say so." You slightly smiled.

"I do. It's just sometimes I get—" Just as she was finishing her sentence, pancho rushed under the chair causing you to fall down and Emma dying of laughter.

"Not funny." You mumbled, shaking your head as you tried to get back to the seat.
