Emma had gotten in a car accident the night before. You weren't in the car that night like you should've been & you blame yourself for that. Maybe if you were there, you somehow could've prevented the accident.

You waited patiently for the doctor to return. You were waiting in the waiting area. Soon enough, you stood up as you saw the doctor coming your way.

"You are able to see her but—" You didn't let the doctor finish, you just walked to the room after you heard those words. You just wanted to see her.

You walked into the room and she was laying on the hospital bed. You smiled once she opened her eyes.

"Hey, em." You smiled with tears streaming down your cheeks.

"Hi. Um, i have a question." She said, sitting up.

"Sure." You chuckled happily.

"It's nice that you came to see me, but um- who are you?" You felt your heart sink hearing those words. You turned your head to the doctor and slowly back at emma.
