And if you don't have blond hair, you will die by age eighteen.

Other hair colors interfere with the ideology of a supreme citizenship and must be removed.

But there are others who disagree with this ideology.

So when seventeen year old Reyn witnesses a public hanging, she decides to act.

Now she and her three friends are on the run, trying to escape the government while trying to change it at the same time.
