If you fall off, I'll jump off to catch you!

Ian Stapleton and Crainer Vestergaard (A/N Look Mom! I can look up people's last names on the internet, are you proud of me!?) Both spawn at the same time, they look around the empty world where a tree and a simple block of dirt was in sight. Both are totally oblivious to the others existence. Ian turns around, at first the boy is startled, but soon his shocked expression turns into a slight smile as he realizes he won't be alone.

"Crainer?" The boy asks quietly, gently pushing his glasses closer to his face.

Crainer turns around and smiles widely at his friend, "Ian!" He exclaims.

The two hug, parting when they remember the situation they were in. Quickly, they get to work. Ian takes down the wood, Crainer stands on the leaves, sticking close to the middle so he doesn't fall off. Ian quickly creates a crafting bench and sets it down, moving to stand on top of it so that his friend can come down. Crainer, after jumping down, and being thrown a crook starts destroying the leaves to receive saplings. Ian does the same. They do this a few times, Crainer making wooden slabs and placing them down to make the place a little bit bigger.

Ian liked that it was growing, for him it was way to small, of course he had no problem with being close to Crainer. The boy was his best friend anyways, but in the back of his mind he knew he had some feelings for Crainer that he would push away to avoid making things awkward.

Crainer didn't want to admit it but he liked being so close to Ian, he always had feelings for him but tried his best to hide them whenever they were together.

After a while, the two friends had a few barrels, more dirt blocks and of course a cobblestone generator. It was night at the time as they sat looking at the stars, backs against each other.

"Hey Ian..." Crainer says to get his friends attention.

"Yeah Crainer?" He answers back, eyes still on the sky.

"I just wanted to let you know that...if you ever fall off...I would jump off after you because..." Crainer trails off at the end.

"Oh really?" Ian asks, an idea forming in his head.

Crainer laughs awkwardly, Ian getting up quick. The boy opens a wooden chest and places everything in his inventory in there. Crainer looks at him confused as he backs up to the edge of the small island.

"What are you doing dood?" Crainer asks standing up.

Ian says nothing, a smirk on his face as he starts to fall backwards. Crainer suddenly realizes what's going on and rushes over to him. Ian closes his eyes, feeling his body falling down but opens them when he stops. Crainer holds onto the wooden block above him, his other arm wrapped around Ian's waist. The two sit there, or hang there, for a moment.

"Wow dood, I didn't think you'd actually jump after me." Ian says, pushing his glasses closer to make sure he doesn't lose them.

"I wouldn't dream of letting you fall homie." Crainer smiles at him, his cheeks turn a light shade of pink.

Ian laughs at this, "You can let me go Crainer."

Crainer looks up at his other hand to avoid eye contact, "I can't."

Ian looks at him confused, "What do you-" before he could finish, Crainer continues to talk.

"I can't let you go Ian, I just can't." He says, his mind racing to find the words.

"I know Crainer....I know." Ian looks down into the void.

"I have...feelings for you Ian." The boy admits, he couldn't see it but his friend smiles when he says it.

"Crainer, I'll respawn." Ian explains.

Crainer thinks about it for a moment before nodding, he lets go of Ian and watches him fall. A tear runs down his cheek. The boy quickly climbs back up, he remains on his knees, waiting.

Soon, Ian respawns in front of him, he looks down at Crainer before dropping to his knees and hugging him. Crainer smiles and hugs back.

"I love you Crainer." Ian lets go and looks the boy in the eyes.

"I love you too Ian." Crainer says back, his cheeks turning a darker shade of pink.

The two lean forward, lips touching for a moment before parting.

Ian laughs, "Just think. It all started from a block in the sky."
