So, I decided to describe each Nintendo fandom (at least the ones I visit sometimes). Enjoy!

(Most of these fandoms are random and very hard to describe. I did my best to summarise them for everyone)

Mario: The Mario fandom is so big, it's hard to summarise the whole fandom. So I'll split it into sections.

Mario Kart/other Mario spinoff fandom: Top 10 lists, more top 10 lists, complaints about racetracks, lists of favorite racetracks, competitions etc.

Paper Mario/Mario and Luigi series fandom: Complaints about Color Splash, complaints about the complaints about Color Splash, complaints about the complaints about the complaints about Color Splash, complaints about the complaints about the complaints about the complaints about Color Splash, complaints about the complaints about the complaints about the complaints about the complaints about Color Splash. You get the idea.

3d Mario fandom: Galaxy is amazing discussions, why does everyone hate Super Mario Sunshine discussions, fanfics

2d Mario fandom: Pretty similar to the rest of the Mario fandom, there isn't really much to say here.

Super Mario RPG fandom: Why isn't Geno in Smash! Sakurai should make Geno amiibos! Don't forget about Mallow! And lots of memes

Pokémon fandom: Rps, rps, fanfics about amourshipping, Eevee pictures, Eeveelution pictures, amourshipping, complaints about any character that isn't Serena, complaints about Pokeshipping, complaints about Iris, complaints about Gen 5, memes (I don't really like Pokémon that much, so don't know much about the fandom, I haven't checked it in months)

Kirby fandom: weird ships, more weird ships, memes, why Return to Dreamland is amazing discussions, fanfics that always have Meta Knight as the main character, OC's that are always Star warriors (the fandom is not very big)

Smash Bros fandom: Again, I'm splitting this one into sections, as it is too big, even bigger than Ridley.

Smash Bros 64: I am yet to find this fandom

Smash Bros Melee: Actually not very active, there is only the occasional person in the Smash 4 fandom who is a Melee player and constantly asks questions about wavedashing or L-cancelling or something similar. Smashboards is one of the few places you can find the Melee fandom, and they are quite normal, but there's a few memes as well.

Smash Bros Brawl: Hiding from the Melee fans, discussions on how amazing the Subspace Emissary is, why can't Snake and Ice Climbers be in Brawl discussions, memes

Project M: I am also yet to find this fandom :(

Brawl Minus: Actually has a fanbase bigger than the PM one I think. I randomly found it once XD.

Smash 4: memes, memes, memes, RPs and a few fanfics.

"hey, I main ZSS, Sheik, Cloud, Kirby, Meta Knight, Mario, Luigi, Link, Peach, Toon Link, Pit, Dark Pit, Duck Hunt, Samus, Ganondorf, Bowser, Dedede, ROB, Mr Game and Watch, Palutena, Mewtwo, Ness, Lucas, Shulk, Rosalina and Luma, Yoshi, Sonic, Mega Man, Falco, Fox, Corrin, Marth, Lucina, Robin, Pikachu, Greninja, Ike, Jigglypuff, Wario, Expand Kong, Diddy Kong, Lucario, Roy, Bowser Jr., Lemmy, Larry, Ludwig, Wendy, Wii Fit, Roy, Morton, Villager and Toon Link. I've recently dropped Bayonetta as she was nerfed and didn't reach top 10 in *insert name of recent tournament here* and I am looking for a new main. Any suggestions?" - The Smash 4 fandom in three sentences.

Fire Emblem fandom: Weird. Just weird. And a lot of weird ships. And fanart. The fanart is very weird. And there's the occasional person complaining about how Awakening and Fates ruined the series.

Kid Icarus fandom: Doesn't really exist any more, occasional Floor ice cream meme or screenshot of the dialogue, and complaints about how Nintendo banned screenshot sharing on Miiverse.

Sonic fandom: Weird. Very weird. Lots of incredibly random ships and OC's. The best part of the Sonic fandom is the ROM hack Yeth (I wanted to include a picture but it wouldn't work). And Sonic Omochao edition XD. A lot of complaints about nearly every game in the series and complaints about reviews of nearly every game in the series. And of course, the RP's.

I think I covered all the main ones. I would include Zelda, but I don't really know much about that fandom. Please tell me if I missed any.
