to remember dousing a mosquito

buzz the finger behind the neck

the body a flesh leaf fluttering in

the wind of leaving concrete stems

of otherwise / to remember rousing

with sweet sunny skin / is to prophecy

tomorrow the finger will shrivel into

fist & the apocalypse clenched inside

smells of nail polish / feels of fine hair

weeding out the skeleton / but also know

beyond memories & shadows the finger

will purple slightly jammed in a doorway

slightly cut while chopping beans slightly

burn in a candle dare / slightly touch parts

of bodies that make love

but also shape exit wounds
