It was Monday Night Raw, and with Battleground in a few days, the war between the Bliss Republic and the Brotherhood is about to reach its breaking point after the Shiniest Wizard Tegan Nox won and defeated the Republic gauntlet to keep her Raw Women's title match with Bayley alive.

Last week, Alex sent out a tweet saying that he'll end the Fiend at WWE's next pay-per-view, SummerSlam. Bray Wyatt has responded to him by challenging the One-Winged Angel in the same match he challenged John Cena at WrestleMania, the Firefly Funhouse Match; the company has already confirmed their match.

The Brotherhood leader received an Instagram direct message and he went outside the locker room to be on his own; he saw that the message was from Alexa telling to meet her in the storage closet. Alex walked down the hall undetected and went inside to see the Goddess jumping into his arms. Then the two shared a kiss.

Alexa: I saw the match

Alex: Firefly Funhouse Match

Alexa: that match messed up Cena

Alex: well I'll be ready for his mind games

Alexa: do what you must to free us from his clutches

Alex: don't worry babe; I'll get you, Randy and everyone else back into the light

Alexa smiled and put her hands on his cheeks.

Alexa: I love you

Alex: I love you too

The Goddess pulled him back down for a loving and passionate kiss; she wrapped her arms around his neck while she felt his hand going to her biscuit butt which made her moan softly. Alexa pulled back as she bit her lower lip.

Alexa: you really miss me, huh?

She giggled.

Alexa: but we can't do it now because of what's going on

Alex: I know

Alexa: I give credit to Tegan, she is a tough fighter and she earned her shot

Alex: she's a tough girl

Alexa: you saw the other matches for Battleground?

Alex: I did

For Alex's match, Bray said that he'll reveal the Brotherhood leader's opponent tonight.

Alex: I wonder who did Bray got?

Alexa: whoever your opponent is baby; be careful

Alex: I will

They shared one more kiss before they went their separate ways without anyone knowing. Alex walked back to the Brotherhood locker room.

Roman: where you been, man?

Alex: just walking around to clear my head

Kevin: okay, did you see the Battleground card?

Alex: yeah Charlotte gets another title shot; what's new?

Rhea: well, the Queen will meet her Nightmare

Josh: we'll try to get through Elleon, William and Dario

Peyton: as for the Women's Tag Titles, Billie and I will crack another piece of the Republic by beating Asuka and Kairi for the titles

Billie: and hopefully get through them as well

Alex: the Fiend has to be stopped

Dominik: and we also saw that you'll fight the Fiend in a Firefly Funhouse Match?

Keith: what the heck is that?

Alex: Cena went through that at WrestleMania and it messed him up, but at SummerSlam, it will be different

Tegan: any guesses on who you'll be facing at Battleground?

Alex: I don't know, Bray said on Twitter that he'll reveal my opponent tonight

Travis: a possibility of another Republic member recruited

Alex: I don't think so, Alexa and Randy does the recruiting members, but I have a feeling for Bray, that this guy is one time only, just to do his dirty work

Io: what if it's someone you're not familiar with?

Alex: doesn't matter if I know him or not; I will not be intimidated, and as the leader of the Brotherhood, I will not go down without a fight

The group nodded and gave their support to Alex.

The show went on and there was no main event as the last part of the show was a segment which is the revelation of Alex's Battleground opponent set up by the Bliss Republic's higher power.

After nearly two hours, it was time for Alex to come and see who is opponent is.

Alex: I got to go

Roman: we'll be ready

Tegan: be careful

Alex nodded and left the locker room for the ring.

(In the ring)

The Brotherhood leader made his entrance wearing his entrance leather coat and silver eye contacts. He grabbed a mic and addressed the crowd.

Alex: now I saw on Twitter that Bray Wyatt has lay down a challenge a Battleground which is just an invitation for me, and I accepted, but the thing is, I do not know on who my opponent is

The crowd chanted "who?"

Alex: whoever my opponent is, Bray Wyatt set this whole thing up, so that I may not walk or worse may not make it to SummerSlam, but let me tell you this Bray, I am not intimidated, so whoever you paid to try and put me down, I dare them

He was interrupted by the Firefly Funhouse theme before a smiling Bray Wyatt waved to the crowd.

Bray: hi everyone, welcome back to the Funhouse, and who's that? It's Alex, hi Alex how you doing buddy?

Alex: enough of the playful antics Bray, who is my opponent?

Bray: I was going to get to that, hold your horses there

The Eater of Worlds sat at a table and played with four toy horses.

Bray: I want to introduce everyone my four horses, they're Pestilence, Famine, War and Conquest

The camera zoomed in on the dark colored toy horses.

Bray: now what I've learned is that my horses represent the apocalypse or what your opponent calls doomsday

Alex listened closely.

Bray began to laugh before he continued to talk.

Bray: the man I picked as your opponent told me your end is near and it will be at Battleground, and if you miraculously get pass him...

The camera zoomed onto Wyatt's face.

Bray: I'll see you at SummerSlam

Then he went back to his joyous side.

Bray: bye and good luck!

He waved goodbye and laughed as the Firefly Funhouse concluded. As the arena went silent, the lights turned off and on the stage was fog as an apocalyptic theme played.

Alex's opponent for Battleground was none other than the "Devil of NXT," the devil to Alex's angel, Karrion Kross and his manager Scarlett. The Angel of Doom accompanied Karrion while she lip synced his entrance theme. Alex stood his ground showing no intimidation.

Karrion got in the ring with his menacing smile on his face as he stepped up to Alex while ominously telling him while Scarlett put up an hour glass.

Karrion: tick tock, tick tock

Alex smirked as he raised his right arm to make the black angel wing from his coat pop out as he sent Karrion and Scarlett a warning.

Alex: you will both perish

The One-Winged Angel smirked as he stared daggers at Karrion and Scarlett as the show came to an end.
