Momentum has shifted to the Brotherhood following the mixed tag team match on Raw two days ago which saw the Shiniest Wizard Tegan Nox once again pinning the Raw Women's Champion Bayley two times. WWE management has confirmed one match for Battleground:

As for NXT tonight, the Shadow Ninja Elleon Astralis looks for retribution against the Brotherhood's newest member, the Sniper of the East Geiz Marufuji. Also advertised is Alex addressing the crowd for laying out the Fiend on Raw with an AKO along with the appearance of Bray Wyatt's Firefly Funhouse. With Battleground a couple of weeks away, the card was slowly building.

After seeing the schedule, Alex smirked as he was looking forward for what the Bliss Republic's higher power has to say. The Brotherhood's lieutenants Roman and Kevin came in to check on the leader.

Roman: I guess you saw that the nuthouse will be appearing

Alex: Bray Wyatt has a lot of questions to answer

Kevin: what if the Fiend shows up?

Alex: then I'll do what I did on Raw; the Mandible Claw has no effect on the One-Winged Angel

Roman: do what you have to do, brotha

Alex nodded and went to join the rest of the group. The Brotherhood saw Geiz ready for his match against Elleon.

Geiz: the Shadow Ninja meets the Sniper of the East

Io: show him what you're made of, little brother

Geiz smirked and nodded before he left for his match.

(Geiz vs. Elleon)

The Sniper of the East and the Shadow Ninja stared daggers at each other before the bell rang. The two locked up and Geiz immediately showed his physical strength as he pushed Elleon back. Elleon showed no fear as he stepped up to the Sniper and strike him with rapid combinations, but barely fazed Geiz and all the Sniper did was laugh it off exactly like his mentor Minoru Suzuki. Geiz then got Elleon with a lariat.

Elleon fazed Geiz with the Amaterasu followed by a Tsukiyomi Kick sending Geiz down to one knee. The Shadow Ninja launched from the ropes for another Amaterasu, but Geiz side stepped it and locked in the Coffin in the middle of the ring. Elleon used his strength to walk to the ropes, but Geiz tighten his grip as he dragged the Shadow Ninja down and applied the grapevine. Elleon started to fade and the referee raised his arm three times, calling for the bell and giving Geiz the win.

With the win, the Brotherhood was now a step ahead of the Bliss Republic.

Backstage, Bayley was fuming at the fact she is now in a championship match for her Raw Women's Champion.

Bayley: just because Nox pinned me twice doesn't mean she gets a title shot at my Raw Women's title!

Alexa: Bayley, calm down because I have an idea

Bayley: what?

Alexa: one word: gauntlet

Bayley: gauntlet?

Alexa: if Tegan wants a shot at you, she has to get past through the rest of the Republic ladies, and if by some miracle defeats each and everyone of them, she must face you

Bayley smirked and nodded in agreement for the gauntlet match.

Bayley: when will this all go down?

Alexa: SmackDown this Friday

Bayley: perfect

With that, the Goddess went to creative and the gauntlet match was confirmed.

Tegan Nox vs. Carmella, Liv Morgan, Kairi Sane, Asuka, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Toni Storm, Kay Lee Ray, Alexa Bliss, Dakota Kai and Bayley - Gauntlet match; if Tegan wins, her match at Backlash is still on

At the Brotherhood's locker room, the Shiniest Wizard saw the promo for SmackDown and has a tall and steep task ahead of her on Friday as she must face the entire Bliss Republic ladies to keep her title shot alive. Alex came in and saw her nervousness.

Alex: I saw it

Tegan: I must defeat 12 women to keep my dreams alive

Alex: it's a tall task, but you can do it 

Tegan: but what if I can't; the odds are really stacked against me

Alex put his hands on Tegan's cheeks to calm her down.

Alex: you can do this, you will win the gauntlet; I'm sure of it

He wiped the tears from her eyes, making her feel better.

Tegan: thanks Alex

Alex: it's all good; now I have to address the masses

Tegan: be careful

Alex: don't worry about me

The One-Winged Angel left the locker room.

(In the ring)

Alex came out to an ovation donning his silver colored eye contacts and long coat with the single black angel wing. Alex got a mic and began to speak.

Alex: now it's been months since Bliss Kingdom rebirth itself as the corrupt Bliss Republic and my initial answer was to fight fire with fire, and that's the reason the Brotherhood was formed

The crowd listened.

Alex: my initial assumption is that my mentor Randy Orton and my wife Alexa Bliss were all hungry for power since we had every championship at the time, but the things went bad to worse when they told me that they were following orders from a higher power, and that higher power is the Fiend Bray Wyatt

The crowd was silent as they listened.

Alex: the Fiend has brainwashed my family to turn them into his evil worshiping puppets, and until he is stopped, the Bliss Republic has to follow orders from him

The crowd booed.

Alex: but I'll make sure that the Fiend will go down and I'll free my family from his mind bending hands just like when I AKOed him on Raw!

The crowd clapped until they were interrupted.

Alex turned to the screen that the Firefly Funhouse segment has begun with their opening intro. Then it shifts to happy go lucky Bray Wyatt waving to the crowd.

Bray: hi everyone! I'm so glad you came over to the funhouse today because we have a new friend in the ring! It's Alex! How you doing buddy?

Alex: enough with the mind games, Bray

Bray: I love games! You know, I couldn't help but listen to everything you have just said about Bliss Kingdom's greatest feats! But now, it's sad that they stabbed you in the back and changed their name and their looks

Alex: and they're taking orders from you!

Bray: taking orders from me? Don't be silly, it's not me telling them, it's... him

Bray's tone of voice changed to a deep and menacing tone.

Bray: you see, he has taken control of your wife and your mentor's minds, Alex; the Fiend is unstoppable and there's nothing you can do

The screen glitched showing flashbacks back at Takeover where the Fiend revealed himself costing Alex the United States title.

Then Bray went back to his happy and upbeat voice.

Bray: the Bliss Republic are my new friends!

Bray moved aside to show the Republic's action figures.

Bray: they're always nice to come visit the funhouse because I asked them nicely

Wyatt laughed as he played with the figures.

Bray: I have to warn you Alex; after what you did to the Fiend when you laid him out...

His voice went back to the sinister deep tone.

Bray: the Fiend never forgets

The camera panned closer to Bray's face until it changed into a smile.

Bray: and this is a message to all the fireflies out there tonight; I'll always light the way, all you have to do is...

The camera zoomed in on Bray's face one last time.

Bray: let me in; bye!

He waved goodbye while he laughed, ending the segment as the screen showed the funhouse logo. 

Alex: the Fiend never forgets; well then Bray, I have a message for you

He stared at the camera.

Alex: Bray Wyatt, tell me what you cherish most; give me the pleasure of taking it away

He stared coldly into the camera before dropping the mic and exiting the ring as the show ended.
