It had been about two months since I had become champion. Almost every day I've had someone challenge me after beating the Elite Four, and I had beat and every one of them. Hau had challenged me about five times now, but he could never beat me. I figured out what to do with the N. Lunarizer a few days ago. I gave it to Necrozma and he fused with Solgaleo, but didn't go completely power hungry. It kept eyeing the Ultranecronium Z.

Nebby and Necrozma, separated now, were next to me up top at the champions chamber at Mount Lanakila, and I was observing the golden z crystal. I turned it in my hand and held it between my fingers. My other Pokémon were out from their pokeballs as well.

Decidueye was observing the crystal.

Zoroark was sniffing the air, like he was looking for something.

Sylveon sat next to me on the throne.

Hawlucha was flexing his wings to all of us.

Nebby lie down in the ground, bored.

And Necrozma looked like he was trying to tell me something.

I return them and summon Charizard and fly to Iki Town. Hau said he wanted to show me something. The wind blows in my face as Charizard flies from Ula'ula to Melemele.

I land in Iki Town and I see Hau. He runs up to me.

"Heya, Champion! How's the good life been treating you?" he asks.

"It's hard to remember my strategies for other challengers when you keep coming up the stairs, Hau." I laugh.

We talk a bit more and I hear Kukui talking with someone. Hau and I turn away and look at him. I only hear slight bits of what they are saying.

"....and we can't hold them off any longer!"

"Professor? What's wrong?" Hau asks. Kukui jumps around at us in shock.

"Oh, hello, boys! We're just struggling with some bad guys at Hau'oli! Say, can you boys help us drive them back to where they came from?" he asks. Hau and I nod and Kukui leads us to Hau'oli. We arrive in the city and I see some strangely dressed people terrorizing the citizens. They wore completely black clothes with an R stamped on the torso, multiple colors straight over it. As they hear us, they turn around. For some reason their gaze is fixed on me.

"That's the kid the girl was talking about!" one whispered. "Let's bring him in!"

I was a little confused by that remark.

"What girl?" I growl.

"Doesn't matter, kid! You and your Pokémon are coming with us!" the other yelled. They threw out Golbat and Arbok. I threw out Sylveon. I know I was at a type disadvantage, but I'll make it work.

"Sun! You're at a type disadvantage!" Hau whispered to me. I turn to him and simply nod, and he gets the verdict. The Arbok used Poison Fang and Golbat used Venoshock, but they were in for a surprise. Sure, Sylveon was a Fairy type, but I had taught her a new move.

"Sylveon, dodge and use Psyshock!" I yell at her. Sylveon leaps into the air, barely dodging the attacks, and twirls gracefully in the air. Suddenly about a dozen blue rocks appear around Arbok and Golbat, and they are blasted with each rock. They fall to the ground, knocked out.

"No way! We had the advantage in type and numbers!" The grunts weirdly yell in unison.

They run off, and the citizens thank me.

"Hey, there's no need for payment. I do this stuff for the sake of Alola." I say. "Anyway, who were those guys?" I ask Kukui.

"Some trouble makers here to cause trouble. They seem to want you for something." Kukui says. "I'd watch your back if I were you."

I say good night and run back to my house. As I walk in, I see my mother watching the news.

"Sun, come here!" she says, urgently. I walk over and lean over the back of the couch, and listen to the newscast.

"This just in, the villainous organization known as Team Rocket has invaded Aether Paradise! We have been sent a message from the leader of the group!" the anchor frantically says. The screen changed to the red interior of a building, and there's a man in a chair, covered by the shadows. There are five other people standing near him.

"Greetings, Alola. I am Giovanni, leader of Team Rainbow Rocket. We have taken over Aether Paradise and redecorated. I ask only for the Champion of this region to come here and negotiate. I believe I hold captive someone dear to them." the man said, in a gruff voice. I realized he was talking about me. Suddenly the screen changed to a containment cell, and there was someone in it. The camera zooms in and I see someone I'd never thought I'd see for a while. They had Lillie. She was slumped in the corner, crying.

I was suddenly blinded by rage. I push off of the couch and slam the table.

"Sun, honey, calm down! Are you alright?" my mother asks, standing up from the couch. I don't listen. I walk out the front door and I'm bombarded with press people, shoving cameras and microphones in my face, asking questions. I walk past them all, to the beach near the professors house. I summon Charizard but one reporter catches my attention.

"Will Alola be safe from this enemy?"

I turn back and look at him.

"I will relinquish these idiots. Don't worry." I say, in a low tone. I climb onto Charizard and fly to Aether Paradise. I was too mad to enjoy the feeling of the wind in my hair.

I land at the helipad and dash into the building. It had gotten a rotten makeover. Instead of the buildings usual white, it was now crimson red and black, with a big R stamped on the front.

I shoved the doors open, blinded by rage. I saw two more of the grunts I saw back in Hau'oli.

"Intruder!" one says. They throw out a Fearow and a Raticate. I was outnumbered. Suddenly I heard a familiar voice. Guzma.

"Hey, two on one is a little unfair, kids!" he laughs, coming up behind me. He throws out Golisopod and I throw out Necrozma.

"Use Power Gem on Fearow!" I yell at Necrozma.

"Use Brick Break on Raticate!" Guzma yells. We make quick work of the grunts and they run off up the set of stairs. I turn to Guzma and Necrozma floats behind me.

"Thanks for that, Guzma. Even I can get in a pinch sometimes." I thank him, holding out my hand. He grabs it and shakes it with quite the firm grip.

"No prob, Champion! Golisopod and I are always itching for battle! Why don't you head down that hall behind you? I head they might know where your girlfriend is." he says, releasing my hand. I blush at his remark.

"Uh, we're not in a relationship, we're just really close friends." I say, rubbing the back of my head.

Necrozma and Golisopod shake hands, or claws, and we head our separate ways. I go through various grunts and puzzles, and I reach a sinister looking door. I push through it and see a man in black clothes, a black beard, white skin and a blue hat tied around the back of his head. The room has blue banners all over it. The man turns around.

"What's this? You defeated the grunts outside, did you now?" he asks, with a pirate like tone.

I nod and he continued.

"Well, that's a shame. They weren't my real crew, but they were still mine for the moment." he puts his hands behind his back.

"Names Archie. I'm the leader of Team Aqua. Just when I completed my great plan, I got swallowed up by a giant wave, and when I came around, I was in this world. The boss of Team RR was kind enough to let me use this room as my own." Archie said, walking to the side of the room. "I've been trying to figure out a way back to my own home. And I do want to go back eventually, but I find myself thinking." he turned back to me. "Maybe I should make the world more like my ideal while I'm here anyway! I've got the Sea Basin Pokemon, Kyogre." I was shocked at that. He had caught Kyogre?

"With its powers to control the rains, I'll call down a great deluge to wash away this worlds lands! All life is born from the sea! If we help the ocean expand, we're creating the cradle for our future to thrive!"

I stumble backward.

"That is horrible! Think about what would happen to all the Pokémon and people living on land!" I tell him.

"Well, you can't stop me, you little scamp! Now beat it!" he yells at me, throwing out a Mightyena. I quickly burn through all of his Pokémon and suddenly he throws out Kyogre. It's scream was so loud. I throw out Decidueye.

"Use Frenzy Plant!" I yell at him, over the sound of water flowing into the room.

Decidueye jumps into the air and slams the ground, and summon four massive vines spring from the ground and smash Kyogre into the ground. It's fainted. Suddenly and Ultra Wormhole opens up and Kyogre is sucked inside, then it shuts.

"No! Kyogre!" Archie screams.

"You lost, Captain Idiot. Tell me, have you seen a blond girl around here? About my age?" I ask him.

"Ha! I have, but I won't tell you!" he laughs. He starts to laugh more and suddenly a purple aura flashes around him and he disappears.

"That was weird. Decidueye, you okay? That move takes quite a lot of energy from you." I say to my Pokémon. He assured me that he's ok and I return him to his ball. I pull down the painting behind Archie's desk and press a button. It turns something on and it teleports me back to the first room. The gates blocking the stairs slightly open.

I enter the next gate and beat my way through several grunts. I come to another room, this time red, and there's a man with a red and black robe, and spiky red hair. He turns around and as he looks at me his eyes widen.

"Here I thought it was that obnoxious Faba, coming to pester me again, but... All this ruckus was caused by a child? I am Team Magma's Maxie. I had finally realized my grand design, only to be swallowed by a great fissure that appeared beneath me... When I awoke, I was in this world. I'm enjoying this experience so far, though. The knowledge in this world is...fascinating." he said.

"The name is Sun. Let's start off with some nice small talk. What are you doing here, and why?" I ask, sarcastically.

"I do intend to return to my own world eventually, but first... I have decided to bring my grand design to this world, as well! I will use the magma-controlling power of the Continent Pokémon Groudon to shrink the oceans and create more glorious landmass! With more dry land to live on, the creatures of the land will no longer have to fight for territory! This is the ideal world for people and Pokémon! A world without conflict! Don't you agree?"

I step up further and grip Sylveon's pokeball.

"Do you mean to interfere with my plans? You're just like that fool from Team Aqua. I can't allow an ignorant child like you to get in our way. I, Maxie, will show you the consequences of meddling!"

Maxie throws in a Mightyena, and I quickly clear through his Pokémon, but then he throws out the Continent Pokémon, Groudon. I return Sylveon and Decidueye takes the stage. He flies around Groudon, hoping to confuse it, but suddenly Groudon hurls a Lava Plume at Decidueye, and upon contact, Decidueye falls to the ground. He puts out the fire on his wing and uses Frenzy Plant. Groudon is smashed into the ground, and the Ultra Wormhole comes back, and Groudon is sucked through.

"So you defeated the master of the land—the great Maxie! Still, I wonder... What makes you so adept at handling Pokémon? There has to be some reason I was defeated... That's what you're trying to say, aren't you?"

I simply return Decidueye and give him another dead gaze.

"Hmph... You think I didn't know that? This isn't my own world, after all."

"If you truly wish to continue farther into Team Rocket's Castle, there are two paintings that you need to examine. One red, and the other blue. I have my noble cause! To expand the landmass, for the advancement of the humankind and Pokémon! This is where we part!" Maxie says, teleporting away.

I heal my Pokémon and press the button behind the painting, and go back to the main room. The two staircases open, and I ascend the one on the left. I beat through more grunts and enter a room with a blue and black theme, and a man with spiky blue hair and a white and black uniform in front of me. He was sorting stuff on his desk and he heard me enter. He turned around and had a very black and sinister look on his face.

"Who are you...? It seems you are not a member of Team RR."

I stop a few feet in front of him and cross my arms.

"My name is Cyrus. I would like to ask you one question. Is this world the new world?"

"New world? What on earth are you talking about?" I ask him, raising an eyebrow.

"I can sense in you the strong desire to protect... something. You have a powerful spirit. ...That must mean this isn't the world I desired. I used the power of the Pokémon that control time and space to create a perfect world, where the human spirit does not exist. That was when a great shadow appeared and engulfed me... And brought me to this world."

"You controlled Dialga and Palkia?!" I ask, completely confused.

He ignores me.

"Is that a Pokédex...? May I have a look?" he asks. Rotom zips from beside me into his hands, and he observes it, admiring the tech. He gives it back to me.

"Interesting... In this world, even the Pokédex is..." he stops mid sentence.

"I see. So you have a spirit, as well. But it's too late... All too late. I cannot stop now. I must remove the weak, incomplete human spirit from this world and bring it perfection!" he screams, taking out a pokeball. I beat through all of them but he throws out both Dialga and Palkia!

"Sylveon and Hawlucha, let's go!" I yell, throwing out both my Pokémon. They stare down the huge dragon Pokémon and I'm surprised they don't start cowering in fear.

"Hawlucha, High Jump Kick on Dialga, and Sylveon, use Moonblast on Palkia!" I yell. Sylveon blasts a energy sphere at Palkia, sending it flying into the back of the room, and Hawlucha kicks Dialga in the face, smashing it into the ground. They both get up and use a tactic I've never seen. Cyrus simply does some sort of hand signal and suddenly Dialga and Palkia use their signature moves. Dialga uses Roar of Time, freezing Sylveon and Hawlucha while they are airborne, and Palkia uses Spacial Rend, slashing them both out of the air. Hawlucha smashes into Sylveon and they hit the ground. Hawlucha faints but Sylveon manages to get up. Her leg was injured and she was struggling to stay standing.

"Such determination. Why does this Fairy type waste it's time on a weak child like you?" Cyrus asks.

That set Sylveon off. She leaped up to Palkia and used Draining Kiss, making Palkia kneel down, then she shot a Moonblast straight at it's face. It fell back and fainted. She was having a stare down with Dialga. It attempts to use Roar of Time, but Sylveon used Draining Kiss, and that was enough to make it faint. She landed in front of me, tending to Hawlucha as Dialga faints behind her.

"Impressive. Your prowess is notable." Cyrus says, returning the guardians of space and time. "Why are you able to create such strong bonds with your Pokémon? And how are you able to turn those bonds into strength?"

"Simply because I don't waste my time destroying all of humanity." I say, kneeling down to Sylveon and Hawlucha. Sylveon has Hawlucha wrapped in her feelers, and she uses her free feeler to take out a crystal from my bag and holds it up to me.

"Veon" She exclaims, smiling.

"Thanks, Sylveon." I tell her. I take the crystal and hold it up for Hawlucha, and he wakes up, and he's still a bit injured. I spray a full restore on his wing and he's up and at them.

"I see. I will not do anything to this world. I believe I shall return to the perfect world I created. But before that...take this key." Cyrus says, walking up to me and holding out a key in his hand.

"Why are you helping me?"

"If I can be defeated by a child, I have no use here. Use the key to activate the machine on the wall behind me. That should open the mirror door." he says. He presses a button on a remote and the Ultra Wormhole opens up, and he throws Dialga and Palkia's pokeballs into it. Then the aura from Maxie and Archie engulfs him, and he disappears.

I use the key and I'm teleported back to the main room, and I go up the other staircase. I go through a memory quiz and reach another door. I go in and this time the room is orange. The man here is much taller than Cyrus. He has black clothes with orange rims, and his hair is in a spiky bush behind his hair. There are two panels behind him. He turns around and looks at me with a foul expression.

"You must be the intruder I keep hearing about."

I stop in front of him and give him a menacing glare.

"I am Lysandre. I had triggered my ultimate weapon to wipe out all the fools—everyone except Team Flare... But at that moment, a bright light swallowed me and I wandered into this world." he says looking around the room. He turns back to me.

"No matter. My purpose remains the same. Which world I'm in is not important. The only way to create a world where people live in beauty, a world without conflict or theft..." that sounded nice but also horrible.

"Behind me, you see two buttons. One will open the path for you, and help you move forward... The other will trigger my ultimate weapon, and destroy all that there is in this world!" he says.

"So, make your choice. I believe being a chosen one means you have the potential to change the future! Whether we activate the ultimate weapon or leave it safely underground will rest upon if you actually have this potential or not. I will not stop you." he says. I observe the two buttons. I walk up to the orange button and press it. Suddenly an alarm goes off, and I jump.

"You are not the chosen one! You will destroy the very world you created at your own hand! There is time to stop it though." he says, looking at the blue button. I run over to it but Lysandre puts his arm in front of me before I reach it.

"Of course, I will not allow that, so I will keep you busy for a moment." he says, throwing out a Mienshao. I quickly beat through them all but suddenly he throws out Xerneas and Yveltal. They both shriek and look at me menacingly. I throw out Necrozma and Nebby. I take out the N Solarizer and point it at Necrozma, then Nebby, and they fuse into the form of Nebby at the altar. He lets out a roar mixed with Necrozma's.

"Necrozma! Use Power Gem on Yveltal!"

Four rocks form around Necrozma and he fired four beams at Yveltal, sending it flying. Xerneas charges at Moonblast but Necrozma used Flash Cannon and instantly knocked it back.

Xerneas and Yveltal recovered Yveltal used Oblivion Wing. Necrozma barely avoids the beam and flies into the air. Necrozma grabs Yveltal's wing in his mouth and slams it into the ground. As it was on the ground, he used one more Power Gem to finish it, making it faint. Xerneas fires a Thunderbolt at Necrozma, but one more Flash Cannon finished it off. The Life and Destruction pokemon are sucked into wormholes and Lysandre is left stunned.

"The strength to protect, huh? ...Very well. Go on, press the button." he says, putting his hands behind his back. I press the button and the siren stops.

You have stopped my ultimate weapon, and also you have taken one step more toward your goal. Maybe...if my world had a Trainer like you, the path I chose could have been different... No! Nothing can change me now! If there is a path to creating a beautiful world, then that is the path I must take! Even if it means I can only save a handful of the old world!" he says, then disappears. I head back to the main room and the door to the main bedroom opens. I enter the room and was about to go through the teleport when someone came through. I leaped back and fell on my back. The man has a cloak on, with one side black and the other white, and he has blond hair and a half a cyborg faceplate, where the eye is red. He reminds me of a priest. I get up and straighten my cap.

"Well now, what do we have here...? I come out wondering what the commotion is... Only to find the door to the center of the castle ajar, and intruders running wild! It seems those team leaders from other worlds are not nearly as useful as I had hoped."

"You're the leader here? Where is Lillie?" I ask him.

"My name is Ghetsis. I am representing Team Plasma. I, too, was summoned from another world, much like the other leaders you've defeated! There is no need to worry. You will find the president and her daughter up ahead, blissfully asleep and dreaming."

I attempt to run past him, but he stops me and shoves me back.

"Ah, not so fast! Unfortunately, I cannot let you go beyond this point!" he yells at me. "You see, I have been thinking long and hard about the reason I have been sent to this world. And now...I believe I finally have the answer! My purpose... It is to travel between the worlds, freeing all Pokémon from foolish people... And at the same time, consolidate all the power in all the worlds to myself!"

"That is a horrible idea!" I scream at him.

"In order to achieve this beautiful ideal, however, I have need of a useful pawn... And that man, the leader of Team Rocket, is a man of pure evil! If I can make good use of him, and set him up as a king, I shall be able to reign supreme above all existence! I have found that humans, with their predictable ambitions, are easier to use and control than a freak without a human heart. It wouldn't do at all to have you get in his way, especially when I must establish him as my king!"

"I'd like to see you try!" I yell at him, stepping closer.

"Must you insists on interfering with my plans? Very well, then... all obstacles to my ambitions must be removed!" he says. He throws out his Pokémon and when I defeat the normal ones, he throws out Reshiram and Zekrom. They both roar and look at me. I throw out Necrozma and Sylveon. They charge Power Gem and Moonblast, and strangely Reshiram and Zekrom just stand there, taking the hits. They are both still standing, and they fire Fusion Flare and Fusion Bolt. They both slam into Sylveon, and she's sent flying. I catch her and hold her in my arms.

"Sylveon, please be alright." I say, nearly breaking into tears. I return her to her ball and focus on the battle.

"Necrozma, use Dragon Pulse on Reshiram!"

Necrozma charges a purple beam and slams Reshiram head on with it, sending it back and making it faint. Zekrom used Bolt Strike but Necrozma withstands it. A Dragon Pulse to Zekrom knocks it out.

Suddenly they both get up, but they don't charge any attacks.

This one is strong, brother. There's a voice. Then another, this time deeper.

You're right. We should not mess with this world any longer.

Zekrom and Reshriam open Ultra Wormholes and fly through. Ghetsis steps back.

"I couldn't have been defeated by some random Trainer from who knows where!" he screams. Zoroark suddenly burst from his ball and growls at Ghetsis.

"Ah, a Zoroark? You should be careful, boy. These Pokémon are hard to control. No matter!" he says. Suddenly he charges at me and wraps his arm around my neck, choking me.

"Zoroark! If you value your trainer's life, grab his pokeballs and give them to me!"

I try to talk but he's crushing my windpipe. I give Zoroark a hopeful look and he looks at me as well. He walks up to me and nods. He reached for my belt, and grabs a pokeball. Suddenly they all release from their pokeballs.

They all ready attacks at me me, or so I thought. Decidueye fired a Spirit Shackle at the floor and it gave me the opportunity to escape. I leap forward and Zoroark catches me.

"Thanks, buddy. I don't know who I'd be without you all." I say. Ghetsis is stuck. Zoroark lets go of me and I turn to Ghetsis.

Colress suddenly appears from nowhere.

"Y-you!" Ghetsis strains, struggling against the Spirit Shackle.

"You have caused too much terror in this world, Ghetsis! Return to your own!" Colress said, and teleported Ghetsis away.

"Ah, Sun, it's good to see you again!" Colress says, still typing away on his arm pad.

"Good to see you too, sir. Have you been zapping all the leaders away?" I ask him.

"Yes, I have! The last resides beyond the teleporter! I'll see you!" he says, teleporting away.

I head into the teleporter and I see Giovanni. His back is turned. I see Lusamine on the floor, passed out, but Lillie isn't anywhere to be seen.

"I had been informed that the champion was here, but I didn't know it was a child!" Giovanni said, turning around, a sinister smile printed on his face. "I had allowed the other bosses to do as they wished, hoping they would be of use... But it seems you have defeated all of them. I am impressed you got here."

"Your other leaders were weaklings. I don't even understand why you brought them here." I growl. He strangely agreed with me.

"Indeed! Team Rocket's goal was to use all the Pokémon and control the world. But now, I have a bigger, better organization. Team Rainbow Rocket! And I, Giovanni, am its leader!" he says. I look over at Lusamine and he catches my gaze.

"The president will not awaken for some time. I have used the power of that Ultra Beast to make her sleep... And when she awakens next, she will be a loyal servant to my will!"

I turn back to him.

"Team Rainbow Rocket will conquer all worlds! We will build an army of UBs! But in order for this precious dream to be realized, we need the technology of the Aether Foundation—the technology of other worlds! But I also appreciate the skill it took you to get this far. I like those who show strength! Why not put that strength to good use, in my Team Rainbow Rocket?" he asks me, holding out a hand toward me.

"No." I say, in a serious demeanor.

"Of course that would be your answer! Having a kid stand in front of me like this... Such a thing should never happen. But for some reason, it also makes me feel nostalgic." he says, as of this had happened before.

"If you insist on disrupting my plans, I will make you feel a world of pain!" he says, throwing out a Dugtrio. I beat through all four of his Pokémon but he suddenly throws out a Pokémon that I've never heard of. Mewtwo. There's another voice in my head.

Your mind is weak. A child cannot rule over an entire region.

"Mewtwo, Mega Evolve!" Giovanni screams. Suddenly Mewtwo is engulfed in bright white light, and when it's done, he's a new form, he's much smaller and is now floating in the air, and has a long part of his body hanging down the back of his head. I throw out Zoroark, but he's disguised as Sylveon. Mewtwo uses Psychic, but it did nothing.

"Well that's not right." Giovanni says, surprised. Zoroark uses Foul Play and smashes into Mewtwo sending it flying. It regains balance and uses Ice Beam, and Zoroark is blown back, fainted. Mewtwo beats through all my Pokémon, and I'm down to Necrozma. It takes a lot of hits but Mewtwo doesn't let up. A Psystrike to the head blows Necrozma onto its back. Suddenly the Ultranecronium Z on my wrist starts glowing. Bright light forms around Necrozma and it transforms into its form from Ultra Megaopolis.

"Necrozma! Use Sunsteel Strike!" I yell. Necrozma smashes into Mewtwo and it's weakened. I put the z crystal in front of me and look at Necrozma.

"Our power cannot be suppressed! Take this power and decimate your opponent!" I yell. I do the Psychic z move ritual and transfer the power to Necrozma.

"Light that BURNS THE SKY!" I yell. All the energy is suddenly sucked out of me, and I fall to the ground. Necrozma forms a giant energy ball and launches it at Mewtwo. It's blown back and engulfed in a huge explosion. After the light clears, Mewtwo is on the floor, fainted.

"Ha! That was a truly intense fight!" Giovanni says. Mewtwo is sucked into a wormhole and it shuts after it. Giovanni shows no emotion toward it.

"I see you have raised your Pokémon with utmost care. It would be foolish to fight such a kid with all my might. Ha, very well. I will leave Aether Paradise in your hands."

"But remember, my Team Rainbow Rocket will never fail! Never forget that! I shall step aside this time! I hope we meet again..."

Giovanni teleported away, and I heard Lusamine wake up.

"Lusamine? You alright?" I ask, kneeling down next to her helping her up.

"Oh, my. Sun? Is that you?" she asks, standing up.

"Hey, hey, hey! The Ultra Beast stuff Giovanni put in you is still coursing through." I say, taking her hand.

"No! I must find Lillie!" she says, releasing herself from my grip and looking around. She ran over to the computer and started typing in a code. Suddenly a cage was raised from the abyss below and Lillie is strapped to a white board, her arms and legs strapped to the board. Lusamine and I undo her restraints, and she falls from the board into Lusamine's arms.

"Lillie, my little girl, are you alright?" Lusamine asks, brushing Lillie's hair out of her face.

Lillie wakes up, and she looks around and when she sees her mother, she hugs her.

"Mother! You saved me?" she asked.

"No, no, dear. It was all Sun." Lusamine said, turning toward me. As Lillie sees me, she lets go of Lusamine and runs toward me. She pulls me into a tight hug and starts sobbing.

"Sun! It's so good to see you!" she squeals. I return the hug.

"It's good to see that you are alright as well, Lillie." I say. "Took quite the beating out of my Pokémon." I say. I release all five of them, and separate Necrozma and Nebby. Nebby brushes his mane against Lillie and she giggles.

"It seems that no matter what situation we're in, Nebby can cheer us all up!" Lillie says.

"I have to go outside and tell the people of the end of the invasion. See if we can revert Aether Paradise back to its normal state. I'll leave you two alone." Lusamine says, leaving. As she leaves she winks at me. I heal all my Pokémon and I was about to spray Sylveon when suddenly she grabbed the can with her feelers and tossed it aside.

"Sylveon, come on now. You were blasted by two legendary Pokémon moves." I tell her. She simply walks up to me and wraps my wrist in her feelers and leads me over to Lillie. She's writing something down on some sort of book.

"Veon!" Sylveon exclaims, startling Lillie. She turns around in surprise and holds the book behind her.

"Don't do that, you two! You know I scare easily!" she teases us, laughing.

"Sylveon wanted to show me something." I say, rubbing the back of my neck. Sylveon wraps another free feeler around Lillie's free wrist and guides both our hands together. Sylveon let go of our now joined hands. We were both blushing at this point.

I attempted to let go but Lillie held my hand in a tight grip.

"I can't thank you enough for saving me. You make me feel safe." she said, sobbing. She hugs me tightly and I do the same.

"Every moment I'm around you, I feel like no one can harm me." she sobbed into my shoulder.

"If that's the case, Lillie, I'd say that you do the same to me." I say to her. "Ever since the day we met, I've felt that us meeting was the part of our lives that was inevitable. You're the best friend a person could have, Lillie."

She backs away from me and looks me in the eye.

"Thank you, Sun." she says, and then kisses me on the cheek. I blush intensely at that and she does as well. I hear my Pokémon snickering behind us. Sylveon simply smiles.

"We should probably get outside to let the people of Alola know that we're safe." I say. I turn toward the door and Lillie takes my hand once more. We walk out of the lab and through the teleporter, and then outside. The press sees us and half of them crowd around us, half staying near Lusamine.

"Did you distinguish Giovanni?" a reporter asked.

"I want everyone to know that Team Rainbow Rocket has been disbanded and are far away from here!" I say, staring straight at one of the cameras, fist pumping the air.

The crowd cheers and Lillie and I push through the crowd and get to the helipad. I summon Charizard and he roars, happy to see us. We climb on and Lillie sits on the saddle behind me, and wraps her arms around my torso, clinging close.

"I'll be careful, don't worry, Lillie." I say. We blast into the sky and fly through the air. We fly from Aether Paradise to Melemele, and land at my house. We dismount Charizard and I help Lillie down. She giggles.

"It's nice to see a friendly face!" she says, leaning her head on my shoulder.

"I am going to admit, as soon as I heard that you had been kidnapped, I stormed off in such a rage and flew to Aether Paradise instantly." I say, humiliated.

"Don't be embarrassed at that. I'm happy that you care for me so much." she says. We enter my house and my mother is looking frantic.

"Sun! You can't storm off like that! You could've gotten hurt!" she yells at me. At the sight of Lillie she calms down. "Lillie? Are you alright?"

"I'm fine, thank you, Miss." Lillie responds, smiling. "Your son saved me along with his Pokémon." she says.

"Sun, the League called earlier. They said the local news show wants to have you on for the morning show for a talk about the takeover!" mom exclaims.

"I'll be sure to be there. Best to hit the hay now to get there early in the morning!" I say, heading for my room. I suddenly realize that Lillie has nowhere to sleep, and Professor Kukui was off on a trip somewhere.

"Lillie, you can sleep on the couch if you want." Mom says. I let out a quiet sigh of relief. I thought things were going to get a little awkward. Lillie accepts and I head into my room, and lock the door and change into my night clothes. I climb into bed and throw a little ball at the light switch. I hit the switch and the lights turn off, and I drift into a peaceful sleep.

I was in a peaceful dream when suddenly a crash of thunder woke me up. I dart up and look around. It's raining outside. Perfect. I get up and head into the living room, careful not to wake anyone up. I take some ingredients from the cupboard and make some Tapu Cocoa. I quietly sip away and stare outside. Alola weather wasn't like this. Suddenly more thunder crashes and I hear Lillie wake up. She sits up and rubs her eyes, and gets up. She sees me and comes over to sits next to me.

"Cant sleep?" I ask her.

"The lightning and thunder outside is loud, so yes." she says. Another crash of thunder. Lillie jumps and clings to my arm, whimpering and her eyes sealed shut.

"Lillie, you're alright. It's just a storm." I say, patting her back.

She cries a bit but suddenly falls silent. Her grip on my arm loosens. She had fallen asleep, in the weirdest place ever. I get up and pick her up in my arms, and walk over to the couch, and set her down, putting her blanket over her. I head back into my room and sleep.

The next morning, or a few hours later, I wake up to hear the Pikipek chirping. I stretch and walk outside, and I see Lillie and my mother chatting on the couch, and Decidueye is behind them, listening in from behind the couch.

"Morning, ladies. Morning, Decidueye." I say, a little tired.

"Good morning, Sun! How did you sleep?" my mother asks.

"I slept well. The thunder kept me awake a bit." I say, deciding not to mention what happened earlier. Lillie did too. I get dressed, eat, and head outside and summon Charizard and fly to the League. I arrive at the Champions Chamber and the press is already there. I sit on the throne we start rolling. The anchor starts.

"We are reporting live from the Pokémon League on Mount Lanakila, our special interview with the Champion! Here he is now! Everyone give a warm welcome to Sun!" she says, before the cameraman turns to me. The red light indicated that it was live.

"Good morning, Alola, and greetings from Mount Lanakila! I have been asked to provide a little insight on the whole Team RR situation. When I first saw the video Giovanni sent to the news, and when I saw my friend Lillie, who I'm sure you all know as President Lusamine's daughter, had been kidnapped. She left for Kanto a few months ago. As I saw her on the screen, I was blinded by such rage I stormed out of my house and instantly flew toward Aether Paradise. When I arrived, the place was red. Literally. There were people in there representing organizations from different worlds. I had to take them all down with my Pokémon, and trust me, it wasn't easy. They had Legendary Pokémon from Kanto to Kalos with them. I want you all to know that they are disbanded and they will not harm anyone ever again. As your Champion, I swear I will protect Alola!" I say. The press asks me more questions and I answer each of them honestly. The conference wraps up and I fly back to my house, and when I enter, I see Kukui, Hau, Lillie, Burnet and my mother pop out of nowhere.

"That was amazing! You spoke with such confidence, yeah!" Kukui exclaims, patting me on the back.

"He's right! You creamed that, rival!" Hau said.

They all congratulate me and after a while they leave, and my mother goes out to do some shopping. I sit outside on the front steps and look up into the sky. I hear Lillie come out the door.

"Stargazing?" she asks, sitting down next to me.

"Yeah. I've just been thinking. All the legendary Pokémon from Team RR dissapeared through wormholes when I defeated them. I wonder if I can find them." I ponder.

"I'm sure that you will. For now, I'm sure your Pokémon are hungry." she says.

"Yeah, I totally forgot!" I exclaim. I release all my Pokémon and they all stretch.

"I'm sorry for keeping all of you holed up the whole day." I say. They all let it go and start on their own while Lillie and I prepare some food. After we're done setting up, we all plop down to eat, but Necrozma just stares into the sky. Nebby comes up behind it and joins its gaze. I get up and walk toward them.

Suddenly an Ultra Wormhole opens up, and Nebby and Necrozma jump back.

"We need to check that out." I say to Lillie. She agrees and I return my Pokémon, all except Nebby, and we climb onto his back and he flies into the wormhole. We're taken through Ultra Space and we arrive at some sort of blue cave. There's fog everywhere. We dismount Nebby and look around, and I see something in the distance. We approach the shape in the distance. It's Groudon. But it's on the floor, knocked out. This must be the Groudon Maxie had. It's humongous size makes it difficult to care for. Lillie releases a Comfey and I release Decidueye. They use Synthesis and Floral Healing, two moves that heal Pokémon, and Groudons eyes wearily open, and it stares at me. I back away cautiously. It gets up and looks at me. It growls softly and leans down to me, and starts me and Lillie. It grunts softly and then disappears.

"I guess all of the legendary Pokémon I took out are stranded in Ultra Space. We better get the rest of them." I say, standing up.

"You're right. I saw a blue wormhole back in the tunnel. Perhaps Kyogre is down that on." Lillie said.

For the next two hours, Lillie and I went across Ultra Space nursing the injured Legendaries. We ran into Dialga and Palkia, and after we helped them, we heard a roar from above. Suddenly a giant black dragon with gold rings on it appeared.

Dialga and Palkia both roared and the black one did too. It nodded at us and all three of them disappeared.

"I have never seen or heard something like that thing." I say.

We arrived at the last wormhole, a green one. We come to some sort of plain. We walk the path when suddenly two weird orbs drop onto the ground. I pick one up, and it has a double helix inside of it with a purple shade. Lillie picks the other one up and it's pink. Suddenly there's a high pitched ringing in both of our ears, and we drop to the ground. It stops and we look around. I see a shape on top of one of the giant pillars. I walk closer and Lillie stays behind me, hands on my shoulders.

Well, hello, Champion.

Mewtwo.

"Mewtwo? Is this where you came after I battled you?" I ask.

Mewtwo floats down from the pillar and stands before us. He's about twice as tall as both Lillie and I.

That is a grudge I cannot lift.

"Mewtwo, you worked with Giovanni along with all those other Legendaries!" I say to him.

Giovanni used my power to control them all.

"So you weren't willingly helping that man?" Lillie asks, coming out from behind me.

Well, greetings, madam. Lillie, was it?

"Nice to meet you, Mewtwo. I've heard stories about how you were created. It must've been horrible." Lillie said, walking closer.

I prefer not to talk about that.

"You're hurt. Necrozma's Z-Move must've taken a beating out of you." Lillie said, touching a spot on Mewtwos arm.

The Mythical pokemon retracted it's arm.

I'm fine.

"No you're not. That mark is from a ginormous energy blast." Lillie says.

You can thank that boy and his Pokémon for that.

Mewtwo then glares at me. Suddenly Necrozma, in its prime form, burst from its ball and got close up to Mewtwo's face, snarling.

My, my. What an ill tempered Pokémon.

Necrozma simply growled again and flew back to me. Lillie and I treated Mewtwo's wounds and when we were finished, Mewtwo looked a wee bit surprised.

I've never felt this fine before. Tell me, what medicine do you use?

"Full Restores from the Pokémon center." I say, packing up my things. Suddenly the orb I picked up earlier fell from my pocket and rolled in front of Mewtwo. He looks at it, then picks it up and admires it.

He then gives it back to me.

Please take that crystal. It is of no use to me any longer.

"This is a mega stone, isn't it?" Lillie asks, taking hers out.

The way I transformed while fighting Necrozma was with that stone.

"How do you and Giovanni form a bond? He uses Pokémon as tools. He doesn't appreciate the Pokémon he has."

He used a technology called Mega Wave he stole from another universe. It doesn't require a bond.

"Coward." I grumble. Lillie and I turn to leave but suddenly a blue light surrounds us, and we're brought back to Mewtwo.

I have a request.

He sets us down and continues.

May I come with you to your realm?

"What for? Legends say you are obsessed with ruling the world." I say, brushing off my pants.

"Sun, Mewtwo probably just wants some actual love and not be used for his power." Lillie says. She walks up to Mewtwo. "We'll gladly take you along." she says, holding out her hand. Mewtwo hesitantly takes her hand in his pod like hands, and I do the same.

It is an honor to accompany you and your female friend, Champion.

"Call me Sun. Nice to have you, Mewtwo." I say.

We head back through the wormhole and Mewtwo looks around the landscape. It was the same time as when we left. Mewtwo lands on the ground and looks around. I can't tell if he's angry or curious. His eyes always give me the chills.

What a peaceful world.

"This is how it normally looks in Alola." Lillie says, after her and I dismount Nebby.

Perhaps I shall settle here for a while. Champion, may I see your Pokémon? I would like to be familiar with my surroundings.

I take out my pokeballs but Mewtwo grabs them using Psychic. They all float in the air, and all six of my Pokémon come out from their pokeballs. Decidueye and all of them glare at Mewtwo.

"Guys, it's alright. He won't hurt you." I say.

I see. Your Pokémon love you very much. Especially this one.

Mewtwo points at Decidueye.

"Yeah, Decidueye was my first Pokémon here. I got him when he was a Rowlet." I say.

"Decidueye is an amazing Pokémon, and he has many comparable traits to his trainer." Lillie says, taking my hand in hers and rests her head on my shoulder.

I see.

"So, Mewtwo, you have two Mega Evolutions?" I ask.

Yes. The one you witnessed me turn into at Aether Paradise was the Y Evolution. X requires a much greater deal of power.

"Dang. Kalos tech is confusing." I say, confused.

Suddenly a high pitched voice comes into my head.

We cannot trust him!

I looked around and saw Sylveon chatting with Zoroark. This time a deeper voice came into my head.

Sylveon, let's give Mewtwo a chance.

Zoroark.

"Uh, Sylveon? Zoroark?" I ask. They both looked at me. "Were you guys just talking?"

They walk up to me.

You can understand us, Master? Zoroark said.

"I don't know how. Lillie, are you hearing this?" I ask Lillie. She nods in confusion.

Forgive me. I opened up a Psychic gateway to communicate with your Pokémon. Mewtwo's voice rang in my head.

That explains that. Anyway, Master, Sylveon says we can't trust Mewtwo. Zoroark said.

I look down at Sylveon, and she has a hopeful look on her face.

Sun, please! You have to agree with me on this!

"Sylveon, I'm sorry. Mewtwo hasn't done anything to harm anyone since we helped him in Ultra Space." I say.

She simply puffs her cheeks and walks away. She sits by the shore and gazes our at the ocean.

I turn to Zoroark.

"You mind cheering her up?" I ask him. He nods.

Gladly, Master.

He turns to leave but I stop him.

"Zoroark, how long have you been calling me master?"

Ever since you caught me. Why?

"It's alright to call me Sun." I say.

Sorry. It's normal that we Zorua and Zoroark call our superiors Master. Thank you, Sun.

Zoroark walks up to Sylveon and starts talking to her.

We wrap up our conversation with Mewtwo and head into my house. I return my Pokémon and Lillie and I head to bed.

What a crazy two days.
