Harry's pov

I stepped out of the room,rubbing my eyes with the heel of my head.Niall curled up on Liam on the couch.They both looked completely exhausted

"When even are we?"I muttered,grabbing a coke out of the fridge and sitting down next to them. I peeked out the bus window and saw only desert.

Niall answered "Nevada" and the same time Liam said "New Mexico". I rolled my eyes and sipped my drinks,not caring and wondering why I had bothered to ask.

Taylor hadn't called me in 4 days, and hadn't answered my calls.Only short texts were sent back,exchanging 'goodnight' and 'good morning',a few questions about each other's day. I missed her.

I grumbled and snuggled up on Niall's back,watching the latest episode of America's Next Top Model.Liam was a fan,and somehow we all became addicted too.

My phone started buzzing, and I immediately picked it up without even glancing at the caller's name,because Taylor's ring tone had a special effects.

"Taylor"I said happily

"Harry"she replied through the phone."You want to know something crazy?"

"Is it how much I miss you?Because it's a pretty crazy amount,I can tell that much"I teased

"No,you're so dumb"she laughed."But it's even crazier than that"

"Well then what is it?"

"I won the audition, and a Sony music company called me to attend the meeting"

"Meeting?"

"But I don't know what is it really about...well I'll figure it out later

"Well done!so you got it?!"

"Yeah, I got it"

"BOYS SHE GOT IT!"I cheered,jumping up.Various congratulations were thrown at me to be passed on to Taylor."They all say congrats!"

"Thank you"she giggled."Guess what?Calvin Harris,Ed sheeran and Demi will be joining me,performing at VMA.You're not gonna believe that. And I start writing the new song in a week.A week. And you get back in 2 weeks!"

"Calvin?The scottish dj?"I questioned.I heard the slight ping of jealously in my voice and cursed myself.

"Yes,that DJ. And don't be jealous"she scolded

I chuckled into the phone,choosing to ignore her comments."You start writing in a week?Isn't that kind of quick?"

"Well,yeah.But they think it's going to be a big hit and want to get it started as soon as possible"

"that's great"I murmured."I'm really happy for you, Taylor. I miss you though"

"I miss you too"she replied. I could picture her biting her lip nervously as she answered. I smiled at the thought,leaning back to the couch.

"Where's have you been these past few days?"

"Meeting with the management,hanging out with Olivia. I'm sorry I didn't call"

"It's okay"I answered honestly. The bus pulled to a stop and I could see a hotel with screaming fans."I'm about to get off the bus,hold on for a second once I get through the fans,yeah?"

"Yeah"

I put my phone in my shirt pocket,following Liam off the bus and greeting my screams and flashes of cameras. I stopped and posed for pictures,talking with the girls and signing things until Paul rushed us inside.

I picked up the phone."are you still there?"

"Mhmm"

"You okay?"I questioned,stepping into the elevator

"Yeah.You're just always surrounded by screaming girls.If I was there they wouldn't touch you"she muttered.

"I wish you didn't have to deal this. I know it's hard"

"Yeah,but it's the job I picked"she teased."Speaking of which,I got a raise"

"A raise?"

"You know,for us being such a good couple or whatever"

"I wish you didn't tell me that" he groaned."Can we pretend that the contract just doesn't exist?"

"Sorry"she muttered."That was stupid of me. I'm cooking for dinner now though,so I'll to you later"

"Okay,bye"

"Goodluck at your show. I love you"

"I love you"I replied,color rising to my cheeks.Niall raised his eyebrows at me as I flicked him off and he snapped my phone."Fuck niall"

"I loooovveeeee you"he cooed,jumping on me kissing me all over my face as I tried to push him off.

"Oh taylor,you're the best girlfriend ever!No you're cuter! I love you!"

I managed to shove him off me."We do not sound like that!"

"Yeah"he laughed."it's more like 'Oh I'm sorry I'm being paid to date you,and also I'm sorry our relationship is completely abnormal.What?No I'm not jealous.OMG I miss you.Babe-"

"SHUT UP Niall !"I cut him off by chunking a pillow at his head.He caught it and grinned slyly

Niall and Liam immediately grabbed the gummy bears and started trying to toss them in each other's mouths.

I sat on Twitter,scrolling through my timeline.One of Taylor's tweets popped up with a link which I clicked on.

It was an article announcing the debut of her new single. I scrolled through until a sentence caught my eye.

'A girl from Nashville and also a girlfriend of Harry Styles got a new title of the best song ever made,known as love story . Sony entertainment industry decided to take her as the new singer and songwriter.She will be performing at VMA ,featuring Calvin Harris ,Demi Lovato and Ed Sheeran'

I groaned and turned off my phone. I repeated the sentence.'I will not get jealous' over and over in my head.

Annie sat on the couch beside Liam,sipping her coffee and talking to the phone."Yep,got it.That's great.Okay thanks.Bye"

"Boys,I'm going back to LA.You've got 3 days off next week before the final run tour.You guys can go to VMA.Call me if you need something"And she walked out of the room.

We all cheered and my mood immediately shifted.Next week I could see Taylor. I decided to surprise her
