Taylor's pov

I sat on the chair in Annie's suite awkwardly.She was shuffling through some papers and glancing at her watch,mumbling about how late Harry was.

There's a loud knock.Annie sighed in relief and swung open the door."Don't be late next time"She snapped

"let's get straight to the point.Taylor,are you dating Harry?"

"Wh-what?"I stammered."Yeah"

"The pictures of you and Calvin reuniting at New York,the way you were together..fans are starting to think there's is something up"She said harshly,passing me her phone.

I slid to left,seeing pictures of Calvin and me,laughing,touching constantly,hugging tightly.

It looked bad. I had to admit.But we were just friends. I thought we were getting over it.But no,everyone started speculating about Calvin and I.

"Calvin or Adam or whatever name he is,we're just friends"

"Doesn't matter"she replied,blowing me off ."From now on you and Calvin cannot be seen in public again.Just really stay away from him,cameras are everywhere"

"No way"I protested.
"That's ridiculous.Who cares about rumors?We know they aren't true"

I looked to Harry for help,only seeing him clench his jaw. I groaned and put my head in my hands.

"TAYLOR"Annie snapped."Doesn't matter what we know.It matters what the fans think.Harry,make sure she does as she is told.Now both of you get out."

Standing up quickly,I shoved my chair back and stomped towards the door behind Harry.Annie called my name and I turned around,annoyed.

"What?"I snapped.She handed me a thick envelope.

"This came for you,"she said.
"Now start getting ready, the concert is in 2 hours"

I snatched the envelope from her bony hands and stormed out of the room. I walked to the elevators where Harry was standing.He completely ignored me.

"Are you happy?!"I shouted."Now I have to stay away from my friends,so I guess you don't have to be jealous anymore!"

He ignored me.

"What?Don't have anything to say?! I should probably stay away from Olivia too,don't want you to get jealous,right?"I laughed maniacally.

He finally spoke up,"Fine, I have plenty to say.First, I was completely forgot about the things between you and Calvin.Secondly, I have no idea why this rumors circulated.Even though,all the cuddle up,you guys looked really cute together"

"Oh my god"I said quietly."You've got to be kidding me "

The elevator beeped and we stepped on."No, I'm not kidding.Sorry you got caught"he hissed.

"Harry.."I muttered quietly."I wasn't about to kiss Calvin.We just.. I just got out with him, and absolutely nothing else"

The color drained from Harry's face as he turned to look at me."No..you-you were stroking his cheeks,your forehead were pressing together."he said shuttering over his words.

"Yeah..but.."I stammered,feeling guilty.

"Taylor.."he started as we stepped down from the elevator,walking towards our room.

"No"I replied,shaking my head.I chewed on my lip."You didn't even give me a chance"

"I thought I saw-"

"It doesn't matter what you saw"I sighed."What matters is you didn't trust me.And then you didn't give me a chance"

"I did trust you"he mumbled."That's why I was so hurt.B-because I trusted you. I always have"

I scooted closer to him and he wrapped his arms around me. I crawled into his lap and put my hands around his neck,nuzzling into him.He rested his chin on my shoulder and ran his hands up and down my back soothingly.

"Harry, I need you to look at me"I said, and he raised his face to meet mine."If you want this relationship to work out,we need to trust each other no matter what"

"You need to understand that. I don't want anyone else. I like the smell of your hair, and the sound of your voice, and I fucking decided on you.Okay?"

"Okay"

"You need to trust me.Completely.We have a promise,remember?"I whispered,taking face in my hands.

"I remember.I'm sorry,Tay.I was complete an asshole"

"Yeah"I laughed."You were"

We laughed and hugged each other. I tucked my legs up underneath me as I adjusted myself on his lap,kissing his neck. He hummed in appreciation,before reluctantly pulling away and looking up at me."So we're okay?"

"Yeah.We're okay"I confirmed,pressing his lip against mine and climbing off his lap.

"Now I want to see what's in this envelope"

I picked it up and looked at the return address.It was for a studio.Knitting my eyebrows in confusion,I tore open the envelope and the thick packet fell out,along with the letter.My eyes widened in shock as I thumbed through it.

"What is it,babe?"Harry questioned

"It-it's a lyric"I stammered."And invitation to come audition"

"Cool!"he grinned

"No..you don't understand.It's a lyric that I've posted on the website.The music video that I made a few years ago."

"So why did you get it then?"

I read through the letter quickly,turning to him and frowning"Because I'm your girlfriend.The publicity.And they said that they want to see me singing.So they want me to audition"

"that's awesome!"He cheered,hugging me."You're going to be a pop star"

"no,the only reason I was even considered is because of you.I'm not doing this"I tossed the envelope on the bed and turned towards my suitcase

"Taylor"he stated.
"It doesn't matter how they discovered you,does it?This is a once in a lifetime chance,right?Why would you not try?"

I chewed on my lips as I thought."I guess you're right.But they want me to audition in 3 days in LA. And I'm on tour with you,so I couldn't anyways"

"Fuck the tour"Harry said"Ask Annie. I'm sure she'd let you go.They'd probably like the publicity for you in the audition anyways"

"Okay"

"You'll do it?"he cheered up."you're going to be amazing!"

"That's even I get it"I laughed."Now hurry up,you've got a show tonight"
