When I finally woke up later that afternoon, I woke up to Aiden brushing his hand through my hair softly.

"You're awake?" He asked.

"Yes."

"I want to talk to the pack today." He told me.

"Thats amazing Aiden!" I said happily, kissing him.

He laughed, "I think its long overdue."

"Maybe a little, but the point is you're doing it, and thats all that matters." I replied.

A moment later, Jason burst through the door looking frantic.

"You two." He said narrowing his eyes at us.

"Whats happening?" Aiden whispered to me.

"I don't know, he's glaring." I whispered back.

"I can hear you!" He shouted. "Do you have any idea how crazy it is out there? You two coming in in the morning, right in front of Jessi? The whole pack is losing it wanting to know whats going on, who Alice is, why this, why that. I don't know what to do!"

Aiden sighed, before finally getting out of bed. "I'll talk to them."

"No, its time you- wait what?" Jason asked, looking shocked. "You will?"

"Yes." Aiden replied, heading towards the shower. He stopped before entering the bathroom. "Alice, find something nice to wear, today I'm introducing you as Luna. Its time I become an alpha again."

I smiled at him, so proud of what he was doing. I looked to Jason, who still looked shocked, but finally shook his head, giving me a small grin before leaving the room.

I searched through my clothes, before finally settling on a beautiful cream colored flowing dress with lace. I did my hair and makeup before finally sitting down to wait for Aiden.

He dressed in a dress shirt and jeans, his hair fixed, and some nice shoes. "Does this look ok?" He asked me.

"You look amazing." I said, taking his hand.

"I'm sure you do too." He smiled.

"Are you ready?" I asked.

"Just one more minute." He said, taking a deep breath. He wrapped his arms around me and held me tight, and for a moment I felt his fear, of not being good enough for the pack, or for me, of the pack rejecting him, and not wanting him back, of losing me. The feeling was so strong, I nearly gasped. But as if he completely just pushed it away, it quickly disappeared.

"Ready." He breathed, taking a step back. I opened the door and we made our way towards the conference room. It was made to hold the entire pack for meetings and things like that, so there was room for everyone.

The closer we got, the louder the voices. It seemed everyone had shown up. The second we walked through the door, the voices went silent.

I ignored the stares we were getting as I led Aiden through the middle of the parted seats. We finally reached the podium at the front of the room, and I remained by Aiden's side, holding his hand as he took a breath before speaking.

"I know theres been a lot of confusion about whats going on. I'm here to answer your questions. I want you all to know, I understand I've not been the leader you need, the leader I was raised to be, and for that, I'm sorry. I'm going to work hard to fix this, and gain back your respect. Everything that happened has been difficult for me, but I won't make excuses. My father would have wanted me to fight through it and remain alpha. I let him down, and I let you all down. I hope you're able to forgive me." He spoke honestly.

"I know you're all very curios to who the girl holding me hand is." He chuckled. "This is my mate, Alice." He introduced me with a smile.

"Hi." I smiled at the pack, thankful my Gift was Social, and therefore came in handy when it came to public speaking.

The pack cheered and smiled, looking happy to see Aiden and have their alpha back.

I grinned at Aiden, seeing what an amazing alpha he still was.

He could do this.
