Amy's pov

I was brought to the airport late because of the long distance.

I paid the driver and run quickly inside. Hoping that the airplane for US is still open.

I made it there and saw the airplane for US has finally left off 5 minutes ago.

Damn it. Now I have to wait here for that airplane.

I bought a small lunch from the small stand called subway. There food are really delicious. I finish it and started to walk around.

The lady said that the airplane will come back after an hour.

Yes, I'm just near by US. But my mom is in georgia and I am in virginia.

As I walk around the huge airport. I stared as there was a lot of couples here. Husband and wife, boyfriend and girlfriend, couples.

And I just walk around here all alone.

I walk and walk until I bump into something or someone. I look up to see a hooded guy.

I can tell it's a guy because I can see it's muzzle and a long nose. He took off the hood and told me sorry.

The both of us were cut off by staring at each other.

"Amy...?" he asked. The sad and torturing memories started to flash into my eyes.

I trusted him, it was broken. I was his past girlfriend, not now. He loved me, he cheated on me.

Water started to appear in my eyes and he was about to grab my hand to pull me up. But I just run off crying.

"Amy! Wait!" he yelled. I knew that his things were also at the waiting chair. And so was mine. And it was easier to run without those.

I run towards a small bathroom for guys and girls.

(weird to have a bathroom for both girls and boys)

There weren't any people inside the bathroom. I run inside it quickly and lock it behind me.

Making him thump at the other side. Punching and kicking the door. My tears poured out of my eyes and sit at the floor with my back at the door.

I can tell that he also has his back at the door.

He probably isn't crying. He lied to me. Then he expect me to talk to him?

I sob into my palms. Tears made my gloves wet.

With Shadow's side...

My back behind the door as I cry myself into my large hands. I had never cheated on her.

I fucking hate you, Maria! I hate you! If she haven't kiss me, I would probably be with Amy right now.

I miss her. I love her. I need her in my life right now.

After 55 minutes...

I had been inside the bathroom for about 1 hour I think. I stared myself at the mirror. I looked horrible.

"Ew" I muttered myself and started to clean myself up. There were no more tears to cry out now. My eyes puffy red and my clothes wrinkled.

I washed myself and clean myself. I hope Shadow already left the other side of the door so I can go to the airplane now.

I sigh and pray that he is gone. Ii open the door and to my surprise. He's gone.

Why did he even come here to the airport? Maybe his flight came? 

"Airplane for the US is about to fly in 5 minutes" A loud speaker announced. I panic and started to head back to the waiting chair where my bags were a while ago.

I carry my bags and started to run to the line. I gave them my passport and started to put all my luggage at the rolling thingy.

(Lol I forgot what it was called XD)

I sat at the comfy chair where I was assigned to and I put on my headphones to block myself from reality. Until one song came...

Wide awake, my mistake so predictable

The song continues. Hearing the word 'break your little heart in two' just  realistically break my heart.

That day when he smash my heart with a sledgehammer. A shattered into a billion pieces.

And by just thinking about that memory made me wanted to sob once again.

I started to sob silently into my palms and I stop the music.

After about 30 seconds someone behind my chair tap my shoulders and asked me if I was okay.

"Yes, I'm fine" I said. After 5 seconds of realization. I noticed that his voice was familiar...

Like Shadow...

I just stayed my hoodie around my head, hiding my face from everyone.

"Miss, Are you okay?" A girl asked beside me. I said fine to Shadow because he's a male. But I guess talking to a female will be comforting.

"A little..."I said "what happened?" She asked me. I stared at her and she was a brown colored chipmunk with a white sweater on and black pants and a worried face on.

"Well...I was with someone and that very day, he cheated on me...I was going to US to visit my mom when I keep seeing him everywhere and I keep remembering about the memory...I guess this is how my story ends..."I explained.

"Oh...don't cry. You are a beautiful lady...Don't say it's the end for you maybe some day you will find a better person. If everything doesn't go okay then it means it is still not the end...uhh..." She trailed off.

"Amelia Rose..but just call me Amy" I told her "Okay, Amy. I'm Sally Acorns, nice to meet you in a random time" she gave a warm smile.

I return the smile "Nice to meet you too" I said.

Shadow's side...

"Yes, i'm fine" She said. After 5 seconds of realization, The voice was familiar.

It was Amy...

A small tear full of sadness started to slip off my eye.

"Sir? You okay?" Someone asked beside me. I turned to see a blue colored hedgehog wearing a polo shirt and no pants.

"not really..."I said "What happened?" He asked me "Well...I was with my girlfriend that day when suddenly my previous girlfriend kissed me and the new girl thought I broke up with her and she was going to US and I followed her to say sorry..."I explained.

"Sir...whatever happened never give up on her. If you believe she can forgive you, then there's gotta be a day where she will accept and understand your side of view. Something always good happens at the end so don't give up..uhh..err..." He trailed off.

"It's Shadow Robotnik" I said "I'm Sonic" He said as we shook each other's hand.
