Blue

"Um hi I'm Cricket." She said awkwardly.

"I'm Blue." He said back in the same awkward voice, they stared at each other for a second then burst out laughing.

"Why are you laughing?" Cricket asked through giggles.

"I don't know!" She laughed back.

"This reminds me from a part of a book." Cricket said.

"What book." He asked.

"Oh you wouldn't know it, I read it when I was younger, it's about a half mermaid named Emily Windsnap and her best friend Shona, a full mermaid going on adventures and getting into trouble, them meeting is what the part of the book that reminded me of uh what just happened." Cricket said blushing hard.

"I guess we're going to be good friends then." Blue said shyly, Cricket smiled at him, there was a awkward silence.

"I like your hair, uh who did it." Cricket blurted then looked down and blushed.

"My uh older by a week half sister Luna." Blue said, most people asked him questions about it, it did sound pretty weird, but she didn't, thou she looked like she wanted too.

"Cool, I have a older sister too, but not half." Cricket replied.

"Your new right?" Blue asked.

"Yes, are you?" Cricket asked.

"No I've been going since first grade." Blue answered.

"I thought this school offered kindergarten, why didn't you go then?" She asked.

"Originally I was going to this kindergarten through middle, school, but then something, I'm not sure what happened, but the school closed down and all of us got transferred to this school, Wasp High." Blue explained.

"I know the name of the school, I was home schooled by my sister, Katydid, but I finally get to go to a actual high school." Cricket said.

"Cool." He replied.

For the rest of the ride they talked about books, school, and stuff about themselves, in till they got to school.
