My throat hurts guys

Hayden's POV:

As school ends, I let the tears fall as I walk down the hall. I really didn't care who saw. I turn a corner to my locker, and see Zayn pushing Louis up against a locker.

"I know what you're doing Louis." Zayn seethes, angrily.

"What're you going to do about it?" Louis smirks, slyly.

Zayn stands there momentarily, contemplating what to do. He then just turns around and walks away. I stand quietly and watch Louis brush his hands over his jeans and leave.

What were they fighting about? What was Louis doing?

As soon as I get home, I see nobody is home. I estimate they won't be home until 6:00. So to pass time I take my math homework out of my backpack when I realize I have no pencil.

Sighing, I go through the kitchen drawers looking for one. I open one to see it filled with a lot of paper that is written on. I move it aside to the bottom, when I finally see a pencil. Grabbing it, I decide to put the papers back but they slip from my hands and fall to the ground.

"Shit." I hiss, getting on my knees to pick them up. I momentarily look through each one when I see a paper with lines of practiced writing. My heart races as I read it and see my fathers name.

Was Eric practicing my fathers name for the checks? Or was it my father when he was alive?

I slump down on the floor as I bury my head deep into my hands, confused.

Knowing it's a risk, I pull out my phone and call Louis. "Hello?"

"Hi, Louis."

"Oh, hey Hayden."

"I found something." I bite my lip.

"What is it?"

"I think it's Eric practicing my fathers signature to write out the checks." I sigh, loudly.

"Want me to come over?" He asks.

A smile finds my lips, "If you could, but I thought you had plans."

"Not until 5:00. I'll be over in ten." He hangs up the phone and journeys over.
