Pushing the car door with a thud, she took a deep breath looking at the mansion and it takes her back to the day before yesterday when she said those words to him and then disappeared.

She was disappointed not with him but with herself, she should not have said that!

I got him after 10 years which feels like ages and then i had to mess all that up by saying those stupid words!

But what if he also loves you? Came a question from her heart which always gives her hopes.

Yeah thats why he did not come to me, leave coming he did not even call me for once. It has been freaking 46 hours!

Leave it sumo he doesn't feel the same now. You came here for papa right now so meet him and then go back to tiwari killa.

But it hurts!

Sighing she took her steps toward the main door and went inside. Her eyes automatically went to a little upward and she looked at the close door, their bedroom door.

Shooking her head she took steps to ramnath's room and entered with a knock.

"Oh you are here. I was waiting for you!" Ramnath said looking at her, closing the book he was reading.

"So you don't know about your med?" She asked folding her hands on her chest giving him i-know-it-all look.

"Yeah! It was you who gave it to me daily so i forgot it" he said looking at his book cover not meeting her eyes.

"Seriously papa?" She shook her head

"Ab if i asked you to come directly then you won't i know so why not this and look you are here." Ramnath smiled

He came toward her and hold her shoulder, leaving a sigh he asked" what happened that day?"

Suman looked down at the floor and whispered slowly "I confessed"

"And?" In reply she shook her head still looking down and ramnath embraced her who was about to cry.

"He said nothing papa! Not even a word" she sobbed

"Dimwit" ramnath whispered frustrated on his son's foolishness.

Consolling her he cracked lame jokes to make her laugh and at last he succeeded

Suman came out to living room with ramnath with a genuine smile on her face.

"Are suman how's tiwariji?" Lalaji asked

"A litlle better now lalaji. Okay papa i am leaving now. I will be back in few days."

"Why so early?" Ramnath raised his brow " where is your car suman?"

"Vo papa clutch was not working so" she stopped saying fidgeting with her hands.

"Driver will drop you don't worry!" ramnath said giving her no-further-discussion look

"I am here for that bade papa!" Pushkar came in living room giving her a side hug with his charming smile.

"Lets go we will eat our favourite kulfi" she noded her head gleefully

But both were adhered to their spot looking at the view. Shravan was coming inside from the main gate holding a girl in his arms.

Shravan was coming inside looking at the girl while the others were too shocked to say anything. He made her sit on the sofa and she yelped in pain. Then only suman looked at the girl, who had brown hair and fair complexion with sharp features. No doubt she was beautiful.

She came out of her thoughts when shravan shouted for an ice pack.

"Kamalji quickly give me an ice pack. Dont worry Urvashi its just a sprain" shravan kneeled in front of her looking at her ankle.

Suman looked at kamalji who was still standing there with a shocked expression. Taking a look at others, she got to know all were standing there with the same expression.

Being confused she went to kitchen and came back with an ice pack and she forwarded it toward him.

And their eyes met. She saw a hint of happiness in those eyes for a mere second. Just for a second and then he turned toward urvashi.

She went where she was standing earlier, rolling her eyes she elbowed pushkar so that he can come back to reality.

"Why are you looking at her like that?" She whispered

"She is urvashi!" Pushkar said gluping like he was also taking the reality in.

"Yeah i heard her name, so?"

Pushkar looked at her in disbelief  "She is urvashi, Shravan bhaiya's ex girlfriend!"

And just like that her world is upside down! She turned her gaze to them and she saw shravan applying ice at her ankle while urvashi's face depicted she was in excruciating pain.

Shravan's ex girlfriend! Means the girl who was about to marry him but left. Why is she here? Why now?

So many questions were running in her head and she had answers for none.

"Thank you shravan. I am fine now. Its okay i will do it and please do me a favour and take me to my house." Urvashi pleaded

"But you told me your parents are not there" shravan said raising his brow.

"Yeah they are in sidney"

"How will you manage there alone and now you got sprain also. So stay here only."

"No shravan i will manage." Urvashi said looking for the first time at the people present there.

"No you are staying here and thats final. Right papa?" Shravan asked looking at ramnath who gave him a are-you-serious look in return but did not say anything. Urvashi was not looking at their faces anymore her whole concentration was on her ankle.

"Papa i think i should leave. Nanu must be waiting for me" Suman said looking at ramnath who just nodded tapping her head and gave her a sad smile.

"Wait. I will drop you." shravan said looking at suman and her heart skipped a beat.

Dont behave like that! Do what you have to do just pump the bloody blood because you know nothing stupid heart!

Urvashi tried to get up but yelped again so shravan took her again in his arms and went toward the guest room. Suman closed her eyes at the scene.

Suman was in dilemma. Her heart was saying to wait for him but her mind was telling her to go with pushkar. And as usual her heart won the battle. So there she was waiting for him in front of the main gate with pushkar standing just beside her, he knew it was not the right time to talk and on top of that he actually did not know what to say so stayed quiet.

She was waiting for him since 15 minutes but he did not come and she was loosing her mind every damn second so at last she hold pushkar's arm and went toward the car. She sat inside and looked out of the window. Without saying anything Pushkar started the car.

She was so relieved that pushkar did not say anything during the whole ride back at home. She was looking out of the window whole time. Opening the seat belt, she tried to give pushkar a smile but she knew he won't buy it and his expresions told that he did not.

"Take care sumo!" he said patting her cheek and went away in his car only when she went inside the main gate.

She was thankful that no one was there in that small journey she did from the main gate to her room. Because then she have to answer so many questions starting from why was she crying. Locking the door she went inside the cover and now she can cry as much as she wants. Her phone ringtone made her sober up a little. Wiping up the tears she looked at the screen. Shravan calling! Looking at the screen for a second she switched off her phone and start crying again.

Suman felt him caressing her face, moving her hair strand away he kissed her forehead. Suman smiled in her sleep and then frowning she opened her eyes.

It was a dream!

She sighed and shook her head.

He is not here sumo get that straight in your head!

She went inside the washroom taking her clothes with a sulking face. Making the tea for her nanu, she went upstairs with the tray. But her legs stopped moving when she saw him there talking casually with nanu.

"Suman come inside. Look how impatient he is to take you back home." Nanu laughed

Suman came inside, placing the tray she steal glances. Pulling the cup she gave it to nanu.

"Give him also" tiwariji said

I wish I had known he is here, I will surely add something in his tea!

Narrowing her eyes at him she gave him a cup. Shravan raised his one brow as if getting what she was thinking he looked first at the cup and then at her  and sipped the nest second still looking at her

"Suman go get ready he is here to take you."

"But nanu

"No buts now you are going and that's final!"

She went away from there without saying anything further to her room and then after ten minutes she was abiding bye to her family. They were walking together to their car when shravan asked

"Shall we Mrs.Malhotra?" To which her got her angry stare and without saying anything she sat inside the car closing the door with a loud thud showing her anger but he was just smiling at her tactics.

The ride back home was a silent affair neither she said anything nor he tried to initiate but still the silence was soothing to her because he was sitting beside her.

Entering in the living room suman saw urvashi sitting there watching TV.

"Hey suman!" Urvashi chirped

"Hi" suman said awkwardly as she was talking for the first time with her "how's your foot?"

"Oh it's better than yesterday" urvashi smiled and the smile broadened when shravan came inside and sat beside her taking chips from the bowl urvashi was holding.

Suman was shocked to see him behaving so casually.

Who will say he is the same person who was so messed up because of the same girl he is chilling beside right now?

How can he be so casual?

What is going on here! Am I missing something?

She came out of her thoughts by his laugh. Suman looked at them, urvashi was saying something and he was laughing on that.

Now I have to bear this also!

But what if they sorted their differences and now want to be together?

Just thinking about this send chills down her spine. What will happen  if it is true?
