Suman smiled while throwing  petals at preekar as they are taking pheras. Its their wedding after 2 years of courtship. Suman was the only one who convinced Ramnath.

"You will ask papa because he is biased toward you." Shravan said sitting beside her as they were waiting for preekar to join them at a restaurant.

"Jealous much?" She chuckled and he rolled his eyes.

Suman eyed preeti as soon as she came in her view. This is the first time, they are meeting after she got to know about them.

Preeti gulped and sat opposite to her.

"Does anyone in the house know?" She asked with a straight face. Preeti noded her head negatively still looking down.

"Preeti i

"I know di i am sorry. I thought you will tell dadaji."

"Yes you should be, not for hiding it from me but for choosing this buffoon" suman hand gestured toward pushkar who is busy eating food plated in front of him.

"Seriously preeti you chose him?" She shook her head in disappointment.

"Please help us sumo. We know only you can!" Pushkar said looking at her

"Please sumo. Look i am your childhood friend and brother in law." He said again giving her all his attention this time.

"Okay lets settle this." She noded her head while thinking about something and both the brothers shared glances. Pushkar begged his brother with his pleading eyes but shravan shrugged and  concentrated on eating his food.

"I will get kulfi daily for one month?"

"Done! This was so easy bhaiya" pushkar smiled cheekily at his brother while shravan smirked knowing his wife that it just started.

"Not yet. Let me finish. Okay so next is, You will be with me when i will do shopping and carry my bags" pushkar sighed looking at her evil smile

"Okay. Done now?"

"Last last. You will not eat my share of food." She raised her brow at him and he pouted defeatedly and sighed

"I will try"

"What did you say?"

"Okay fine! I won't eat your share of food"

"Good boy now pass all that here" she pointed the plate in front of him. He sighed and gave her the food.

Suman smiled at him when he nudged her out of her thoughts standing beside her.

"They are looking so good together no?" She asked adoring the couple

"Yes but not more than us" shravan said admiring her beauty with a smile.

Adjusting to the lights, suman tried to open her eyes. The feeling of exhaustion was still there. She turned her head to the right and there  he was, sleeping on the only sofa present in the room.

She saw the time, it was showing four in the morning. She remembered having her favourite choco chip icecream sitting on the kitchen slab with shravan standing in front of her and pushkar sitting beside her. She was ordering pushkar to stop hogging shravan's birthday cake as she has an equal share in it, thats when she felt her first contraction.

As if he sensed her gaze, his eyes flung open. He got up from the sofa, gave her a genuine smile.

"Hey you are up. How are you feeling now?" He sat beside her and pecked her forhead. She blinked with her eyes gesturing that she is okay.

"Where is our baby?" She asked looking around but no one was there except them.

"Oh doctors took him for some check ups. Will be back soon!"

"Him?" She smiled

"Yes! Your super hero is here" shravan said with a chuckle "Lemme call the doctor first"

Shravan was not letting her get up or sit, he agreed only when the doctor came and said she was okay and need just rest then only he let her. Suman shook her head when his questions didn't stop when he was talking to doctor about her health and medicines.

Do all lawyers asks so many questions all the time or he is just an exception?

"Papa and pushkar?" She adjusted herself in a more comfortable position

"I send all of them home. They will come in the morning." His hands were moving in her hair amd eyes never leaving hers.

"Means you all have seen him and i am the last one" she pouted and that made him smile.

"He is your part sumo. Doesn't matter if you have seen him first or not. You have been feeling him from nine months and i think his father deserved this much, to see him before his mom. Right?" He grinned and brushed his nose with hers

"Thank you for giving me world's best birthday gift."

The knock on door got their attention and a nurse came inside with a baby in hers hands. Shravan took the baby from her and she went to adjust the bed so that suman can be sitted without moving much.

Shravan touched baby's soft and tiny fingers with his big ones, kissed baby's little hand and when he saw suman pouting, he chuckled and moved closer to her to gave her their little bundle of joy.

"Aww he is so small" she gasped taking him in her arms and smiled.

"And kind of look like a potato." Shravan giggled when he got a whack from his wife.

Giving him a glare, she went back in admiring her baby. The feeling she was having right then, if she had to describe in one word then it will definitely be surreal! When she heard a clicking sound she looked up and saw him taking their picture.

"Can't miss this moment." He looked at the picture  "perfect! "

"No, without you it can't be perfect. Come here!" She demanded and he moved closer to them to get three of them in the same frame

And then he clicked their family picture "This is going to be in our baby's room for sure" he smiled looking at his phone.

"This is perfect" she said looking at the picture when he showed her

She kissed her baby's forehead and simultaneously he kissed her hair,  savouring the happiness and contentment they were feeling then while the baby was busy sleeping in his mommy's safe arms.

Suman stepped inside their bedroom and found the bed empty.

Where are these two now?

Placing the milk glass on the bed side table she turned and shook her head looking at the view in front of her.

Shravan is on his knees while shiv is standing in front of his father. Shravan is busy setting his boy's hair while shiv is playing with the buttons of his dad's shirt.

He is spoiling my baby too!

"Shravan he is just 3 years old and you are applying gel in his hair?" She complained

Hearing his mommy's voice shiv ran toward her and hugged her legs.

"Mumma papa wants to set my hair" he lied to get away from his mommy's wrath.

"Huhh!" Shravan looks at his son bewildered

No doubt he is mommy's boy!

"And who was asking me to apply?" Shravan asked folding his arms around his chest and looked at his son

"Not me" shiv shook his head looking at suman, to make her believe shravan is lying but when his mommy narrowed her eyes at him, he pouted and then gave her a smile.

Shravan laughed as suman tried to catch him, shiv giggled and tried to hide himself behind his father.

Shravan and suman are having tea in the lawn when shiv came inside the house with ramnath, from their daily walk and sat beside suman in his angry mood, his hands folded around his chest while his red chubby cheeks showed his anger.

"What happened to my baby?" Suman asked pulling him in her lap

"Dadu did not buy me ice cream." He said and Ramnath shook his head at his grandsons antics.

"Are you sure?" Suman asked brushing away the chocolate from his lips.

"I wanted more" he said as he know he can't lie to his mom.

Does not matter how many times he try, she has got some magic that helps her to know every time. That is what his little mind says to him.

"How many you had already?" She asked

Shiv did not say anything and looked at the person who always helps him, his grandfather. He is his knight in a shinning armour. No one can say anything to him if he is by his side.

"Dadu lets go i want to show you my new robot papa got me." He hold his hand and dragged him inside ignoring suman's question as if she didn't ask.

"He is totally on you." Shravan shook his head and chuckled

"Yeah yeah!. Whenever he does something mischievous then he is on me and when he does something good he is on you right?" Her voice dripping sarcasm as she rolled her eyes.

"You can't deny that he is a mumma's boy!"

"He who loves moong dal ka halwa, who spends more time on setting his hair and doesn't let me even touch them, who loves to eat spiceless food, who loves to irritate me. These things are just like his father and he didn't even spare your date of birth. That too same and he is a mumma's boy?"

"But he always take your side when we fight and you can't deny that. Even i want someone who takes my side and i think

She didn't let him complete "I know where this is going"

"Think about it sumo. My princess will always take my side and even shiv will get someone to play with" he grinned

"You are insatible" she stated getting uo from the chair and she left a sudden yelo when he took hee in his arms.

"Shravan what are you doing?" Her hands went around his neck as she looked around "Are you mad? Everyone is home. Put me down you idiot" she gritten her teeth and whisper yelled.

"Not before we are done" he winked and went upstairs in their room. Suman thanked god no one was around in living room.

"Lets start?" Shravan asked closing the door and pulling her more in his arms

"Start what? Are we playing games papa?" Both of their heads turned to the voice

"Shravan put me down" suman whispered but he didn't.

"Papa put her down and take me please!" Shiv pouted feeling a little jealous as he is his dad and its his place to be.

"Shiv do you want a sister?" Shravan asked lovingly

"Sister. Yes" Shiv's eyes twinkled with a new found information.

"So tell your mumma to coperate" shravan smiled and suman gave him a death glare.

"But how will she come papa?" Shiv asked curiously

"Shiv baby papa is joking. Go downstairs pushkar chachu is having your favourite moong dal halwa" suman said getting away from shravan. Hearing the world halwa shiv ran downstairs.

"What were you saying?" She asked in sumo mode, her hands resting on her waist, she took steps toward him while he laughed ran away.

"Congratulations vandy bhabhi" it was suman's turn and she hugged her.

"Thank you suman" vandy smiled and sat with everyone in living room

"Why everyone is congratulating badi mumma. Did you get full marks in test?" Shiv asked

"No baby your badi maa is going to have a baby and you will have a brother or sister to play with" suman told him

"Means i will have two? One brother and one sister. Yaayyy!" Shiv jumped in excitement

"What do you mean by two shiv?" Kamini asked being puzzled.

"Papa told me mumma is going to give me a sister and badi ma too. So its two na dadi" shiv smiled while the colour of two persons went pale there.

"Pushkar chachu pushkar chachu. I want one more baby from chachi. I know how. Pick her up and a baby will come soon, right papa?" Shiv asked his father, who was trying to get away. Vandy's eyes went wide, Preeti was totally red, suman was busy murdering her husband with her eyes, Pushkar laughed loudly while the elders tried to control their laughter and the one who is behind all this was standing there all red.

No one was home because they went in a party of a distant cousin of kamini except the three. Shravan was busy in a case while suman was at home with shiv as he was having fever.

After shiv's arrival in her life, she gave most of her work to preeta. Its not that she doesn't go to pct, she do but being an owner she has the advantage to go home when ever she wants.

To distract his mind so that he can feel better, she played harry potter on tv, his favourite just like his father.

She ruffled his hair when he slept in her arms while watching the movie. He keeps her on her toes when he gets ill again just like his father.

And he says he is a mumma's boy!

She didn't know when her eyes also closed and she slept beside him on their bed.

Shravan finished his work asap and went home to be with them, his happy place.

Shravan entered the room and saw them sleeping. He checked shiv's temperature and sighed when found it normal. He smiled and kissed their forheads one by one.

He never thought we will get a life like this. His sumo with him and their baby. He is not alone now he has a family he can call his.

Getting at his side of bed, he hugged both of them and closed his eyes to feel the solace he was looking for years.

It was always a dream which he thought will never be his but righg now he is living it so he is going to cherish every single moment. And will do whatever he could to keep them safe.
