38. Jigar de tukde.

My face lights up the second I spot my brother and Avni Maa. "Mumma. Bhaiyu." I yell loudly. Everyone around us looks at me weirdly, but I give them no fluffs and quickly cross the distance between my mother and brother. "Meri bachi." Avni Mumma wraps me in a hug, her lips brushing against my head.

"Aapki bahu hai wo. Bacha main hoon." My husband grumbles from somewhere behind me. Jealous much, Sahdev?

"Bas wahi dukh hai. Kaash mere sirf do betiyaan hoti." Mumma says breaking our hug, my brother snorts as his best friend getting insulted by his own mother. I cast a quick glance at my husband who has his lips parted in utter shock at my mother in law's reply. He definitely didn't see this coming, that too from Avni Maa. "I'm glad I moved out." Sahil shakes his head in disbelief.

"Same. But you made my baby move out too." Mumma looks back at me with a pout, I pout back at her. "I miss you, Maa. He tortures me so much. Scares me with his eyes." I blink my eyes to make it seem like I'm trying to hold my tears back. She looks at her son with narrowed eyes, I look behind her to see my husband's eyebrows raised at me.

"Come. We'll tell Rudra and Samyak all about it and then they'll hang him upside down from the balcony for the crows." Mumma pats my cheeks, I smirk at my husband. "Maa. You gave birth to me!" He scoffs.

"I know, your existence is a reminder enough stop shoving it in my face." I burst out laughing at my mother in law's response. Avni Maa grins at her son before pulling him close with his shirt, I step aside, side hugging my brother as the mother-son gets in a hug. He places a kiss on her head. "I leave you alone with Zia and Dad for ten days and now you're also bullying me? What is this behavior, Mumma?"

"I don't want to sound mean but the only reason I was showering you with love all these years was to get you married to my best friend's daughter. Now that's done, I can show you my true colors." The straight face that Avni Maa speaks with has me wheezing like a crackhead. He breaks the hug and leaves without another word; my brother joins his best friend in putting all our luggage in the car. Avni Maa and I grin smugly and high five while my husband gives me the stink eye.

I open the door for Maa and help her in before sliding in. Adv gets behind the wheel and my husband takes the passenger seat. "We should see the will while we have the chance. I bet these people already named everything to her and Falak." My husband looks at his best friend who nods in agreement. Avni Maa chuckles beside me, I sigh leaning against her, she makes me put my head on her chest.

"You tired, Ahaa?" She questions, I hum. "Shika cooked your favorite khichdi." The moment I hear of the dish, my mouth waters. Khichdi. Aaah! This day just got better.

"What about my favorites?" My husband asks, I keep my eyes close knowing all too well he turned sideways and now has his eyes on me. "I don't know. I did ask your chef to steam some broccoli." I snort in my mother's chest. He doesn't reply, but I feel the weight of his gaze on me, and slowly flutter my eyes open.

Bhai's busy driving. Mumma's going through her phone. I meet my husband's eyes. He looks down at his fingers that are tapping on the armrest he has his hand on. I look back at his eyes in question. He looks at my legs. I bite down on my lower lip before closing my eyes and relaxing in my mother in law's arms, removing my slides. Then slowly I start to stretch out and put my crossed feet on his seat's armrest. I feel his fingers on my toes a second later, my face heats up as I feel my mother-in-law chuckles under her breath.

"Physical touch seems to be my son's love language." She whispers lowly in my ears, and I hide my face completely in her chest, I start to pull my legs back, but his hold tightens, not letting me move.

"Ahaana. I have told you so many times to not do this. I'll break these little legs of yours." My brother glares at me from the mirror the second he notices my legs. My husband glares at him, and he continues glaring till Advik looks from me to him. I don't know what the best friends talks, with their eyes but Advu rolls his eyes and goes back to driving with a shake of his head and smile on his face.

The rest of drive goes in silence. My forehead creases in confusion when we pass our society. "Everyone's at your place. We have a surprise for you. And yes, Advik and Yug moved Coco-Oreo, this morning." Mumma informs me before I can ask her anything. I nod in understanding. Bhai stops the car in front of our tower. Mumma and I head inside to wait for the elevator while the guys bring the luggage.

The second that the elevator opens on our floor, my fur babies pounces on me. I lower down to my knees and hug them. Once they're done getting love from me, both of them sashay back into the living room and towards their play corner without so much as a glance in their dad's side. "Yaar Shea, stop stealing everyfuckingone." My husband almost whines, I ignore his pathetic whining and greet our parents. "Where's Suh, Falak and Yug?" I question taking a seat beside my father on the couch. My husband heads into our bedroom. "They have a surprise for you and are busy in that."

"Rudra!" My mother glares at my father, I chuckle. He wasn't supposed to tell me. "What? She'll get to know in what two seconds?" He's just finished speaking when the doorbell rings, I wait for the house help to open the door. "Open the door, Ahaana." My brother smacks my head upside down, I hiss and rub the spot. I walk to open the door and my husband returns at the same time.

I open the door to see no one, I turn back to our family. "Bahar toh nikal." My brother throws his hand around my shoulder and walks us out of the house, in the passageway.

"Hey, neighbor." All three of them says together, my eyes widen as I look at Yug and Suhana standing at the door of one flat and Falak in the other one. I shriek. Yug laughs walking up to me and hugging me. "Tell me, it is what I think it is." I yell in his chest; he laughs louder before turning me towards the name plate--which is the same design as ours-- of the flat where Suhana stood leaned against the door frame.

Suhana & Yug's-- I turn to where Falak and now my brother stood. --Falak & Advik's

"But how? You guys finalized those flats last year." I spot my husband leaning against the doorframe of our flat. "We did. But I always wanted us to be on the same floor, we couldn't get flats on the same floor and then when you didn't get the flat in the same building, it broke my heart." Suhana pouts opening her arms for me, I hug my best friend.

"And since you weren't here, and nothing was finalized, we decided to not start the interior work. We wanted to make sure you at least get a flat in the same tower if not same floor." Falak's voice comes closer, and we pull her in the hug.

"And when that didn't happen, these two started whining about how they don't like the rooms, the bathroom, the fucking door." I look at my brother to see him rolling eyes, I chuckle. "But we knew what the real reason was, so we had to put a stop to their whining and complaining." Yug shakes head at both Falak and Suhana. I hug my girls tighter. "You knew!" I narrow my eyes at my husband. He scoffs. "Of course, I knew, I check the documents. Remember, lawyer and all?" He's so damn proud of his degree, I can't stand it.

"I still can't wrap my head around that. Why law by the way?" I ask out of nowhere; our friends shake their heads at us. "So I could learn to fight and win against a certain someone's sassy tongue." My husband says walking back into our house, I glare at his back. "I don't see that happening. Ever. You need another birth for that." I yell behind him. Yug and Advik follows him in.

"Don't tell me you guys spent your days like this. Fighting and taunting each other." Falak looks at me in disbelief, I show her my palm. "Please. It's our love language." I grin making Suhana laugh and Falak heave a tired sigh. We three follow our men in the living room.

"Ahaana. Sahil. Babies, go freshen up. Dinners ready." Mumma calls out from the kitchen. We six leave our parents in the living room and head into our bedroom. My brother and Suhana jumps on the bed first. I shake head at the monkey behavior.

"What did you bring me?" Suhana makes a cute grinning face. My man brings the bag closer to the bed and unzips it, this bag has gifts for them all. While my husband spoils his sister, best friend and two enemies, I head into the washroom to shower after the 16-hour exhausting flight.

Our friends and families leaves soon after the dinner. My husband and I start office from morning, and they all wanted us to sleep, even though it was just 8:30pm.

It's just the four of us for the first time ever in our home. I close the main door after all the helps leave. While my man checks up on Coco-Oreo, I turn the lights off, check on the balcony door before drawing the curtains. Sahil comes with water bottle and leaves the door ajar —for if Coco and Oreo needs us— behind him while I stand and look at the bed.

"What's wrong?" My husband stands beside me, staring at the bed. "I'm trying to decide." I mumble.

"Decide what?" He looks down at me in confusion. "Which side of the bed I am going to sleep on for the rest of my life." I stare, still deeply into my head. He looks at me with squinted eyes before rolling them. "I should choose the side, dummy. You sleep on me or nuzzled in my sides. We only use only one side of the bed." He shakes head and takes the right side. I crawl on to the bed and then over him.

"You sound like you're complaining." I nuzzle my face in his throat, he tch-es, his warm hand start gliding around my back. I try to move more into him, finding a perfect spot, but he hisses suddenly. I jerk up to look at him. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." He puts his palm on my head and tries to make me put it back on his chest, I don't let him. "Tell me. Is it because of me?" I start to slide down his body, he locks my movement with his hand on my waist. "Nahi Shea. It's just my neck." This time, I get down the bed from the other side, he opens his eyes. "I'll bring the massage oil. Remove the vest and turn around." I order him and rush to our walk-in closet before he can refuse and howl my cute arse back to bed.

I pick up the back and neck massage oil from my vanity—some herbal thing I picked up from Tesco back in London. I actually picked it up for him, when I was returning. He has had the problem of stiff neck and shoulders since he started playing basketball back in school. I remember looking at it for an hour—to be read as couple of minutes— before dropping it in the cart.

I walk back into the room to find him in the exact position I ordered him to be in. On his stomach, shirtless. Oh, those freaking muscles. I can lick my wa— Shut up, Shea. He's in pain, you shameless thing!

Ho sari night besharmi ki height— you need help. Lots of it!

"Stop eye fucking me, Jaan." His muffled voice brings me out of my head. I look at his face to see him peeking at me, a teasing smile plastered on his lips. "Lose the clothes." His eye moves down my body. I walk closer to the bed and put the oil down on the side table. He turns his face sideways, making his full face come in my view.

"How does it feel to finally wear a brassiere?" My husband smirks. I make a whiny sound in my throat, he chuckles. I strip off the t-shirt first, the second the bra hooks are undone, I breathe a sigh of relief. "Drop the shorts, keep the briefs. We're not loving tonight. You slept the entire journey, I didn't." His eyes starts trailing down my face to my breasts, I feel heat creep on my face with his intense eyes.

"I wasn't even trying, sweetie. I think my body grew habitual of your sweet gentleman-ly love making and that doesn't excite me anymore. I want me some wild love." His eyes squints at my retort, I lower down my shorts and wrap my hairs up in a loose bun. His eyebrows creases as he keeps his eyes on my chest and then moves down to my legs, as if thinking something.

"Your body... did you get waxed or something permanent?" He questions, I get on his back and reach out for the oil. "Permanent." I reply drizzling oil on his shoulder, he pushes his face in the pillow, stretching his neck downwards. I drop some oil on his nape. Quickly keeping the bottle back on the table, I return back just in time to catch the drop of oil that's carving its way down his collarbone.

"Oh." He mutters reminding me of the conversation we were having. His 'oh' sounding disappointed and almost... irked. I smile to myself at the little jealousy flaring in my husband but he's keeping it in him because that's what he's been taught by his parents-- Don't ever try to dominate your woman's life. "When?" He merely whispers. "Shika Maa and Avni Maa got both Suhana and me, get the treatment after our boards." The relaxed sigh that escapes him makes me giggle. Mera baby! I wanna gobble this man. "But we didn't get the full body thing. We were just eighteen so both the mothers only let us get hands, legs and underarms treatment."

"Thank Fuck." He groans in the pillow, all the tension, irk-ness leaving his body. I chuckle continuing massaging his neck, shoulders and back. We stayed silent after that, soon enough my husband was in his Shea land-- I said what I said. He dreams of me, and no one can tell me otherwise. Gently, I get down from his lower back and put back the massage oil on its place before heading into the washroom and washing my hands off. I pick up a towel on my way out. Reaching him, I spread out the towel on his oil-clad back and then the covers. He has his face hidden in the pillow, so I kiss his biceps before getting comfortable and letting sleep take over me.

"Hush!" I put my finger on lips, Coco and Oreo hold back the howl, looking around to understand why I'm shushing them up. They can't, because the reason is snuggled in my side hidden underneath the covers. A snore escapes her, and I look down at my wife. Now if I tell her she snores, she's gonna pick up a fight. She never agrees that she snores even when Advik, Zia and I showed her the video where she was drooling and snoring. She said we edited it. No one has the energy to prove her wrong. I start by untangling our legs, then slowly pull away my hand from under her head and with my hand on her waist turn sideways to shift her body on the mattress completely. Climbing down the bed, I put my pillow beside her, and she snuggles in it, covering her bare chest with the duvet, I turn to Coco and Oreo who for once listened to me and didn't make a noise.

I sit down on the floor infront of them, their eyes stays behind me on the bed. Of fluffing course. When she's around, their eyes are stuck on her. "When she's around you see nothing else, hai na?" I scratch both their necks, they let out a groan and focus their eyes to me. "I'm heading to work, you look after her, okay?" They continue looking at me, I boop both their noses and let them lick me before standing up from the floor. They follow me to the kitchen. I refill their bowls and head back to the bedroom.

When I come back to the bedroom from the closet, all ready to head to work, I shake head at the sight in front of me. Coco and Oreo on her either side. I should've let them go when I had the chance, now she's attached and will divorce me if I do something like this. Why the fuckers are on the bed when they have never been there before? I have no idea. Good thing they are not under the covers, or they'd scratch her, unintentionally.

I throw my t-shirt beside her so that she has something to put on as soon as she wakes up. I collect all our discarded clothes from the night before and put them in the laundry basket. Keeping the bra aside as she hand washes her undergarments. After plugging her phone in the charger, and giving my wife a kiss on her crown, I leave the room.

I stop dead in my tracks, my best friend and sister already settled on the dining table. "What are you doing here?" I ask the two taking a seat and serving my plate. Our house help brings some soaked nuts, I look at her confused.

"Ahaana's orders." Purvi Aunty smiled and yes, my wife stole househelps from back home and both the mothers are still pissed for that. But in my wife's defence, she wanted someone she can trust with blind eyes— I agree. I also know that Advik and Zia will steal the rest, my sympathies with our mothers. Also, when did my wife even dish out this order?

"It helps with the migraine, I guess." Advik takes some almonds, I slap his hand away. "I have migraine, not you, arsehole. And what are you even doing here?" I look at them both. "We missed you guys." Zia pouts, fluttering her eyelashes at me.

"They threw you out because they wanted to have breakfast with their wives in the bedroom, didn't they?" Even voicing the words out has my stomach turn acidic. "They are so fucking to mean to us. I can't believe them!" Advik growls out, sounding frustrated and done with our fathers.

"The next day you left for Greece, they invited Yug and Falak's parents to discuss marriage. The fucking next day. I mean I'm so desperate to marry Falak, but even I wanted some time to rest at that point." I laugh at his agony.

"So what did you decide? When's the wedding?" I raise an eyebrow at both of them, their faces turn even sadder. Especially Mehrotra's.

"These two dumb arses—" points at Zia and with the other hand wakes his phone and shows me Falak's picture that is his wallpaper. "These two idiots wanted to get our birth charts checked. According to which Falak and I have no dates till March and these two doesn't have any dates until after mid January." It's 2nd of December today. This just keeps getting better and better. I try to hold myself from bursting into fit of laughter but it eventually escapes me. Zia shakes her head at me smiling and Mehrotra looks at me with narrowed eyes and displeased face.

"Kismat ho toh iss kamine jaise." Advik turns to Zia. "He got married in a month after telling our parents. One month and that too the most auspicious time of their lives as per our panditjis! Inke birth charts kuch jyada hi compatible nahi hai?" My sister bobs her head in positive, her eyes turn to me with just love dripping down her face. "Inki kismat ek jo hai." She whispers, I pick up her hand from to table to mouth and brush my lips on the back of her hand.

"Hai kaha wo bewakoof?" Advik looks behind me and when he goes to brush past me, I yank him back from the flaps of his shirt. She's almost naked. A sight I'm sure he'd live without. I should have put on something on her instead of caring about her sleep. "She's jet lagged and sleeping. You don't want her to be cranky and throw a tantrum all day, now do you?" He falls back down on the chair. "Fuck no!" Yeah, that's what I thought.

"You gotta talk to Rudra Paa and dad, they are planning a trip with their wives." Again? Zia sounds tired just talking about those two. "To visit Zee, right?" I don't think so.

"Nope." God damn it, I knew it. I glance at Mehrotra. "They say they are tired after the wedding and their 'old knees and back' needs some time away from Mumbai." I'd roll my eyes, but I don't think my feelings could be perfectly described with that one expression. I need something more insensitive to show my sheer annoyance. And disgust. "Where?"

"Some Samudhra palace in Devaneri." I scrunch my nose in confusion, "Where?"

"Mahabalipuram." Advik snorts. "Where is that?" He looks at me for a minute as if mentally --and expressional-ly-- calling me stupid. "You know your geographical knowledge is shit, right?" I give him the same look; he gave me a second ago. "Tamilnadu, dumbass." Can I please kill this jerkass?

"And you couldn't mention 'that' the first time?" I heave out a sigh of... frustration. It's 8:30am and I'm already done with the world. And my wife is yet to wake up-- the little shit runs her sassy mouth like it's a marathon.  "They need a vasectomy and not a fucking vacation. I'm not babysitting my fucking sibling at this age."

"Yikes. Sahil!" My sister snaps pushing her plate away, I do the same; not having it in me to keep anything down after the images in my head. Pregnant mother at twenty-eight? Fuck no! "They listen to Shea, ask her to stop them or even better get them on something permanent and spare us all from the horror." Just discussing this has me in nausea.

"Who do you think gave them this idea of going on a vacation?" Advik says after gulping down the entire glass of water. I'm going to wring that brat's neck when I have my hands on her tonight. "And by god's grace, our mothers are smarter than our fathers-- obviously, and they can no longer get pregnant. Menopause." I take a breath of relief at Zia's words, after twenty long minutes. Oh. Right. Thank fuck!

"Great. They can go to the fucking moon for all I care." Zia and Advik leave the table to wash their hands. I look at the bowl of nuts. I don't want to eat anything after the conversation we just had--I'll throw up if I take even a sip of water-- but I also know she's gonna be sad or furious if she finds out. "Aunty, pack these." I hand her the bowl. She returns back a minute later with a tiny container.

On our way to the parking lot, I pull open Robin's chat and type, 'Firstly, you're late again, jerk. Second, I'm going with Adv, you come home and drive Shea to work. She'll be up by 10-10:30.'

His reply comes instantly. "Firstly, I had a long night and she's still here. I'm hiding in the bathroom waiting for her to leave. Secondly, I work for Bhabhi and not you, why would I come as per your schedule? I already know Bhabhi needs her beauty sleep before she has to face Hitlers like you."  Did I mention I am done with the world? I'd like to go back to my grumpy self; the world doesn't deserve my sweetness.

I ignore his text and type, "The florist outside my parents' society, you know him, right? Get peonies from there and hand deliver them to her. Just tell the owner to put it under my name, he knows me. And DO NOT enter my bedroom, give them to her when she comes out."

Advik takes the driver seat, Suhana the passenger princess sets herself in the passenger seat. I get in the back seat. My phone pings in hand. "Thankyou for the etiquettes lesson. What do you take me for? Yug & Advik?" I snort at the response. He's not wrong. Yug and Advik are in dire need of some basic manners lessons. Falak and Suhana are doing their best but it just ain't working.

"You used to walk in my bedroom without knocking. Every fucking time." —Sahil

"Key word here being 'used to'. It was before your marriage or actually before Bhabhi even returned!" —Robin.

"The flowers, Robin. Give my wife those flowers and make sure she knows they are from her husband." With that being my last message, I lock the phone and put it aside.

I'm in a meeting with the finance department and Advik, when my phone rings on the table making all six pairs of eyes turn to me. Advik is by my side, so he reads the name and smiles behind his hand that is on his chin and now lips. I press the side button twice cutting her call, but I know that's not going to stop my spoiled princess from calling ag-- the phone rings again. Advik clears his throat beside me. "Let's take ten minutes, Mr. Gehlot?" The manager nods smiling. I leave my seat and the meeting room with my phone pressed to my ears.

"Hello." I say walking into my cabin and closing the door behind. My eyes go to the watch in my hand, 10:20am. I bet she's still in bed. "You left." Her sleepy hoars-y voice fills my ears, making the smile on my face widen. I can almost see how cute she must be looking right now-- hidden under the covers, her sleepy face and messy hairs.

"I had to, meri jaan. I can't put all the work pressure on Advik na. He's also tired of all the wedding prep and then handling work all alone. He's got not a single moment with Falak these days." I say it all in a breath, not wanting her to think something negative about me leaving the very next morning. "Mhmm. Send Hood, I'll be ready in an hour." She murmurs still half asleep.

"He's already there or will be in a few. I came with Advik and Suhana." I look at the watch, making sure I don't lose track of time. Advik's gonna be pissed and he'll taunt her for making me late. "The first six months, usually in a marriage are spent having sex. Every fluffing chance. Every fluffing where. Ek aap ho, jo apni newly wedded wife ke alawa sab ka soch rahe ho." There's the complaint I was waiting for. "My breasts aches, bub. It's been two days." Her voice turns breathy making me clench my jaw.

"Stop it, Shea. I am in a meeting. Stop this!" I growl, pacing in the room. "And we don't have sex. We love." Her breaths deepen at my words. "Coco Oreo hai waha. Sharam karle." I look down the glass window, waiting for her to stop with the breathy mewls. She's getting punished for this stunt of hers. And not in a way she'd like.

"This meeting gets over at 11:30, be here by then. I'll help you with all your aches." I grumble, my voice rough, nails digging in my palm. "Pakka?" She mumbles. The door knocks.

"Aaja jaldi. I'm waiting." I cut the phone and walk towards my table. Gulping down the glass of water, I take some deep breaths to calm down.

The meeting didn't get over at 11:30. It ran long. Longer than I'd like. Advik and I stop outside my office cabin, the loud sound of laughing comes again. Not one but of group of people. I push the door open, my eyes scan the room. Yug, Suhana cozily sitting on the couch-- Suhana pushes him away the second she locks eyes with me-- good. Falak opposite to them and the brat's snooping through my laptop. I go to say something but then I look at her. Like really look at her. Take her in. She's in a saree. And just not saree, she's properly dressed like a married woman. The nuptial chain and sindoor --that I last saw her in on the first morning after our reception-- are around her neck and on her head. The chooda. The tiny red bindi. Her hairs that are straightened, left open. I meet her eyes, my heart racing at an erratic pace. My mouth goes dry and lungs out of breath as if I ran miles.

She blushes looking back at the laptop screen, but her bottom lip tucked in between her teeth speaks louder than her eyes. The pinkness on her cheeks turns to red. I clear my throat and look away from her to the unwelcomed people in my space. "What are you doing here? Don't you have work?" I narrow eyes at my best friend/ enemy.

"Hey, little Shea. You look--" I take the nearest cushion and smack it on his face. Yug laughs looking behind me, he then turns to me. I keep looking at him for a few seconds. He lets out another chuckle, shaking his head. "That interior designer, Suhana, you wanted to show her work to me na, chalo." He gets up with Zia's fingers laced with his. "But you said I can choose whoever I want because you trust my choice." My sister pouts not standing up from the couch. Yug leans down and whispers something in her ear.

I side glance at my other best friend. He steps close and murmurs, "Ten minutes. I'll bring this door down if you don't open it in ten minutes." Guess he's in his brother mode right now and not best friend. Fucker. Thank goodness, we moved out. And another reason why he'll never have the keys to our flat once he moves there. The four of them leaves and I lock the door behind them.

My wife stays on the chair, she meets my eyes and slowly drags away the saree fabric from her chest, the deep 'v' neckline blouse comes in view. My heart beats increase again. I wait for her next action. She puts the index finger on her bare cleavage and with her eyes on my face and my eyes on her chest, she pulls on the skin of her breast. I cross the distance between us the moment her bud slips out of her blouse fabric. I go down on my knees and turn her chair sideways, making her face me. I go to put my mouth on the bud but with her heels on my chest, she keeps me away. "Jaan, kya biwi lag rahi hai na tu yaar." I look away from her breast and to her face. She's smirking. This is amusingly satisfactory to her, having me on my knees desperate for that one lick.

"And I thought I'd never see this desperation on your face. I didn't know I just had to wear saree to bring this look to your face." The heel of her footwear starts grazing my jawline. I grind my molars together, my control snapping by the second. What I'd do to have her pushed against the wall and my hand on her neck, feeling that pulse.

"I'm getting tired of this vanilla shitz, Sahil. Getting tired of you treating me like a glass doll when I know all you want is to control my breath with your hands on my neck while you--" She leans closer her breath fanning my face, her heels now pressed against my hardness, and it instantly jerks under my pants. "while you have me. The way you want." I glare at my woman, and she puts some more pressure on it.

"Remember that first night in Greece? You said you'll control our bedroom life, when Sahil? Kab jagega aapke andar ka—" Her next words are lost in her throat as I tighten my fist in her hairs. She hisses, but the wide smile on her face tells me she got exactly what she wanted. I slap away her foot from my nether region. "You don't even get jealous. If I knew you have changed so much, I'd never marry you." She tsks. I hold her jaw between my fingers, her lips pulls out in a 'o'.

"You want me jealous? Behaving like a caveman?" My wife bobs her head, vigorously, might I add. I tighten my fist making it impossible for her to move her head. "Aah.." She mewls softly.

"Babyyyy.." She goes to kiss me, I pull back, she lets out a frustrated whine in the back of her throat. "I don't have to. I got my ring on your finger. My sindoor on your head. My mangalsutra in your neck. I have no reason to be jealous. You sleep by my side, wake up by my side. You look after me, not anyone else. I got no reason to be jealous, meri jaan." I smoothen down her hairs, after rubbing the scalp soothing it. She smooches my lips, I brush our noses together.

I pull back just a bit to gaze into her eyes and then they slide down to her chest. I look back at her eyes, and with our eyes locked together, I bring my index finger to my mouth and take some of my saliva onto its tip. With our eyes still locked, I take my finger to her bud and rub the wetness all around it, she bites down on her lower lip, looking down at my finger circling her bud. I look down too, pinching it between my thumb and index finger, I tug at it. Hard. Before she can shout, I cover her lips. She bites on my palm.

"Your glass doll days are over, baby. You'll be treated like my wife, like Mrs. Sahil from now on." I whisper the words just as the fist pounds on the door. She jumps at her seat at the sudden sound. I huff out a frustrated breath, I'm going to kill this jerk best friend/ brother-in-law of mine. "Tera bhai marega mere haath se." I mumble to my wife, setting her clothes. She pinches the skin of my biceps at that. I ignore the ant bite and work on making her presentable. She runs her hands through her hairs, I look down at my body to see her footwear imprints on my chest and pants. The door knocks again.

I scowl at my wife's chuckling face before taking out the wet wipe from the drawer and lightly rubbing it down my clothes. Glancing at her to make she's okay, I head to open the door.

"Why did you lock the door?" My best friend narrows his eyes. I look beside him to his fiancée. "Main maar dunga isko." I warn her, she pouts at me and then holds Advik's hand. "Stop it." Her hold tightens, Advik gives her the same look before pushing me out of the way and entering inside, tugging Falak with him.

We order lunch from the girl's favorite place— Shea and Zia had a fight and Falak settled it down by reminding them of the Mexican place they all love. Falak ruining my fun as always. I was in mood to see some action. "Wotah." My wife huffs pointing at the bottle. "What?" Yug snatches the bottle away before I can reach for it. Shea growls huffing, her nose turning red, and eyes welled up. Her spice tolerance has reduced drastically.

'Wotah!" She slaps the coffee table, trying to blink away her tears. "Yug. Don't be mean yaar." Suhana tries to take the bottle; he chuckles taking it away. I stand up from the couch and bring her the glass of water from my table. Yug grumbles slapping the bottle down. A tear carves down her cheek, I brush it away as she gulps down the water. Falak looks for something in her handbag, she unwraps the chocolate and feeds it to my wife.

"You better watch your fluffing arse, Yug. I'm going to get back at you." Shea glares at him. These two might have the best of friendship but sometimes they just love torturing each other. He's probably getting back at her for when she put the snowball in his clothes when we were in Gulmarg. Backlogs and shit!

"I hate your accent." Yug teases her scrunching his nose. "I hate you." She takes the pillow from behind her and throws it on his face. "Ahaa, what is this?" He shakes the water bottle, my wife turns to me pouting. "Wotah. It's wotah, Yug, hai na Shea?" I tease her, my wife's face morphs into a glare from the pout. "Mujhe nahi karni baat aapse. Jao aap." She throws the face towel she had spread on her lap at me and in the next second, the door slams shut. I keep looking at it confused. "Kya hua usko?" Advik asks, I shrug. Falak goes to stand, I hold her wrist. "I'll handle it." I smile at her before following my wife's footsteps.

I spent the next ten minutes looking for her on my floor and then her floor. When my phone buzzes in my pocket and I look at the caller's name, I know exactly where the British returned princess went. "Haanji Mumma." I answer the call.

"Sahil Samyak Sahdev!" My mother shrieks from the other side and I pull away the phone from my ear. "Sharam hai kanjar? Kal honeymoon se aaya or aaj usko tang kar raha hai tu?"

"Mumma kuch nahi kia main. Hai kaha wo? She's home? Or on the way?" I put my head against the wall. Fuck you Sahdev, first you leave her alone in bed, then you tease her? Of course, she got sad.

"I'm not telling you where she is. You come home after work, main nahi bhej rahi usko tere pass." The call disconnects, I huff out a loud breath. Mumma's going to tell everyone. Dono saas bahu mil ke pata nahi kya drama create karengi.
