The group that was now accompanied by Rey, raced out in the snowy weather. They distinguished the main structure of the base, X-Wings and TIE fighters battling each other above.

They came to a stop with Han's instruction, "They're in trouble. We can't leave." Wanda shivered, not only because of the cold, but because she knew was up there, putting his life in danger and there was nothing she could do about it. "My friend's got a bag full of explosives. Let's use them," Han finished.

Wanda was currently waiting outside the base in the freezing climate, helping out the X-Wings by taking out as many TIE fighters as she could. That was only her part in the plan.

Everything else was fairly simple. Chewie and Han were setting up explosives in one of the lower levels of the base to cause more damage. In order for this to happen, though, they had to gain access to that section of the structure.

That's where Rey and Finn come in handy. They were to disengage the doors prohibiting Han and the wookie.

Time flew by as the sun had slowly started diminishing until the atmosphere was completely dark. Wanda helped the X-Wings enough, gaining them time to take the fight out of the planet where they had the perfect shot to blow up the heart of the base.

Wanda looked around, waiting for her accomplices. Then she felt it. It was a similar feeling to the one she got when Pietro dropped dead after getting hit by Ultron.

Wanda fell to her knees. She couldn't identify who it was, what had happened, only a life losing it's light. Wanda placed a hand over her mouth and tried to keep her breathing steady.

She hated this part of her powers. They were a burden as much as they were a gift and would cause sometimes insufferable pain and sorrow.

The dark sky seemed to match Wanda's mood in that moment. She wasn't going to cry, no, she didn't exactly know what to cry for. She had done her fair share of crying for quite awhile, considering her brother's death.

Wanda just stayed there on her knees, hands now placed on the cold snow below her. She didn't care that she was losing feeling to her fingers, she let them succumb to the numbness. She wanted to let her whole body succumb to the whole numbness.

No. What about Poe? What about Rey? And Finn? And Chewie?

They needed her. And this brutal reality hit Wanda hard as she heard a feminine scream that sounded too much like Rey for Wanda to just sit back idly and let anything terrible happen to her friends as she did nothing.

Wanda stumbled around the dark trees, doing her best to find her way to her friends. She walked as if she were a drunk person, hanging onto trees like they were life-lines as her emotions started taking over.

This is what happened when she became too emotionally overwhelmed, her powers kicked in and it was difficult for her to stay stable.

Her memories of Pietro's lifeless eyes staring back at her came flooding in all too quickly for her to handle. The vision of Pietro's whole death scene which Wanda had extracted unwillingly from Clint's mind replaying as she drowsily carried her feet along the heavy snow.

She pushed herself as much as she could until she came upon a scene that made her lose it all. Finn's body was laying barely breathing in the snow in front Wanda, Rey barely hanging on in a fight with Kylo Ren.

Wanda dropped down pressing her fingers against Finn's temple and that's when she saw it all.

Han Solo, stabbed through the chest with his son's glowing red lightsaber protruding from his back. Wanda saw the whole thing from Finn's point of view. She felt what Finn felt in that moment, and then what Rey felt as she saw in the vision Finn's hand coming in contact with Rey's arm. So much despair. So much pain and sorrow and grief.

It wasn't Han's life less body she saw falling off the bridge now, it was Pietro's. His life less eyes. His limp body.

Wanda scrunched up the snow beneath her hands. She let everything go, all the emotions, all the visions, all the pain, all of it. She let it out, the force of her power too much for everything around her.

The fighting Rey and Kylo flew back from their spots, both of them being knocked unconscious from Wanda's red light being emitted in the vicinity.

She couldn't help it as she lifted her hands up by her sides, crushing the snow beneath her fingers, grip so tight she left finger nail prints in her palms as she drew her own blood. She screamed out, that being the only sensible thing to her in the moment—the only solution to all of the agony.

This was the result of everything she had caged up in inside her after Pietro's passing. It was a growing creature inside that cage in her chest, and this was its first taste of freedom as it clawed at her relentlessly.

As soon as the outburst came, it had stopped. The red light from which Wanda created now gone like it was never even there. That nature around her, though, said otherwise.

Wanda sat down on her butt now, shifting to a more comfortable position as she brought her knees to her chest, hugging them. She rested her cheek on her knees as she shook violently.

She didn't really care in the moment of it all. She needed the release, and she had finally gotten it. Her body was refreshed yet exhausted, and soon enough she was falling slowly on her back into a deep void of sleep, unaware of the furry arms picking her up.
