Familiar, grainy sand scrunched itself under the hands of Wanda Maximoff. She groaned out as she realized the crash landing situation.

She got up slowly from the deep sand, the body aches becoming extremely evident through it all.

As she stood, she dusted off every particle of sand she could. There were some in places that were currently unreachable unfortunately and the sweat that she was starting to develop seemed to be a magnet for the sand.

The heat was almost unbearable, Wanda took note of. She preferred the first instance she appeared on this planet, when it was cooler and nearing the night.

After she got transported. Wanda looked down at her hands sadly. She missed her team greatly, and wished she could go back.

She wondered if her team was even looking for her at this point—it has seemed like forever. Of course they are, Wanda scolded herself.

They had to be searching for her, which they were. And they hadn't stopped, and still weren't planning to. Not only was she a valuable asset to the team, but she meant too much to the Avengers for them to just abruptly out of the blue stop searching for her.

It was just a matter of time.

Wanda started trudging along in the unforgiving sand. Her feet dug into the sand each step, making the walk all the more dreadful. She didn't even know if she was going the right way.

No one was around her. No Poe. No Finn. No nothing. She pondered if they were okay.

The girl dearly hoped they were. As much as Poe annoyed her, she was kind of fond of him. His humor, but hidden compassion reminding her of Clint.

Finn on the other hand, Finn was just his own person. Wanda chuckled at the thought of him. He was a quite a trip, having some of the same personality traits as her brother...Pietro.

Pietro has always been relatively rebellious. When the twins were younger, before the bomb destroyed their home of course, Pietro was the epitome of a perfect trouble-maker.

Somehow he would always find a way to put part of the blame on Wanda as well.

Wanda smiled sadly, as she kept trying to use her thoughts and memories as a way to distract her from the horrid venturing.

As Wanda continued her walk, which seemed never endless, she became dehydrated—she was really starting to lose hope and energy.

Her tired expression soon turned into that of a relieved one, though, as she spotted what looked like tents set up as a village about five-hundred yards up ahead of her.

As quickly as the relief appeared, however, it vanished as Wanda recognized the familiar sound of the ion engines given off by the TIE fighters.

Looking around frantically, Wanda noticed an area set out specifically for aircraft and ships.

Some were getting shot at by the TIE fighters while there was one giant, white one that seemed to stick out to Wanda.

She lifted herself off the ground, using what mere energy she had left with her powers, leveraging herself towards the ship.

As she was almost there, she noticed the familiar dark complexion of Finn.

Her eyes widened as she dropped herself down on the ground near him. He was running with an unfamiliar girl, and the robotic circular thing that was accompanying Poe her first time on this planet—Wanda remembered it's name to be BB-8.

"Finn!" Wanda yelled as she got closer to the ex-trooper.

As he continued to run, Wanda was now side-by-side with him, and BB-8 started beeping and chirping as he had distinguished Wanda.

Finn looked over, surprised and content to see Wanda. All he had time for was to swing his arm forward, as if to signal for Wanda to keep running with him.

Finally arriving at the ship, the four ran up the ramp.

Finn ran down to one of the shooters on the ship while Wanda sat next to the dark-haired girl in the cockpit who was shouting things at Finn.

Wanda had flown before in the quinjet,—Clint insisting to teach her—and she guessed perhaps flying this thing wouldn't be much different.

As she noticed some switches and buttons alike to the ones on the quinjet, Wanda started flipping them on.

Still figuring out the mechanics of the ship, Wanda asked the girl without looking at her, "Name?"

Rey gave a quick look at Wanda then focused back on the task at hand, "Rey! You?"

"Wanda, friend of Finn's!" Wanda shouted back.

Before her and the girl knew it, they were up and flying. Everyone in the ship whispered to themselves, "I can do this. I can do this." BB-8 aside of course.

Wanda and Rey flew, staying low as Finn had shouted it confused the TIE fighters tracking, which proved to be correct.

However as they kept flying over the sand dunes, they became severely outnumbered by the TIE fighters, making the shots almost impossibly hard to predict.

"We're going to need some cover," Wanda grunted to Rey as she helped to control and steer the ship away from the shots.

"We're about to get some," Rey responded back, but whispered to herself, "I hope."

This made Wanda worry and she knew to had to try and take matters into her own hands, especially since Finn's canon had just gotten stuck in one position.

"Do you think you'll be fine without a co-pilot for a few," Wanda questioned hastily.

"W-What?! Why?!" Rey shouted.

"You'll see." Wanda switched her side to auto-pilot, keeping herself strapped in as she closed her eyes and focused her energy on her hands.

Rey noticed the red light coming from Wanda's hands from her peripheral vision and widened her eyes. "W-What are you doing?"

Wanda didn't respond, though, she needed to remain focused.

Rey was astonished by what was happening right in front of her, but knew to remain engaged in her flying. They steered into an abandoned ship, gaining some cover as Rey weaves her way through. There was one TIE fighter left trailing them that seemed to not want to give up.

Wanda opened her eyes suddenly, leaving all energy to detect the TIE fighter and cause it to crash.

Baring her teeth she widened her arms, and used a motion with them and her fingers to manipulate this TIE fighter trailing them.

As they flew out of the abandoned ship, Wanda had the perfect chance to throw the TIE fighter into a broken down ship, crashing and ruining the fighter completely.

This gave Rey the perfect chance to make her escape, flying off the planet known as Jakku.

Switching her gears into autopilot, Rey looked over with wide eyes at Wanda, holding a look of amazement in her face.

Wanda unbuckled, oblivious to the smiling girl next to her.

Rey unbuckled too, and stood up with Wanda and grabbing her shoulders in excitement. "How did you do that?! That was absolutely amazing!"

Wanda had a look of shock written across her face, not expecting this reaction from the girl. Now that she had the chance to actually get a good look at her, Wanda noticed they must've been around the same age. "Do what? I just crashed the TIE fighte—," Wanda was interrupted.

"Just crashed it?! What were those powers you used?!"

Wanda didn't have the chance to respond as Finn and BB-8 joined to the two girls. Finn came up to Rey and smiled at her. "That was amazing flying. Where'd you learn to fly like that?!"

Rey hesitated with her reply, wanting to know more about Wanda and her powers, but she assumed it could wait as she looked towards Finn.

BB-8 even joined in on the conversation, and Wanda let them have their moment of talking.

As they three talked, Wanda wandered around the ship, she didn't want to intrude on the excitement and compliments shared by Finn and Rey even though technically she was part of it to.

It's not that Wanda minded it, she was just over stimulated at the moment, needing some rest that hasn't been given in awhile.

And just when she thought she could potentially get some time to lay low, there was the sudden sound of a pipe busting, causing an alarm to go off in the ship.

Does it ever stop?
