Everyone packed what they needed as they surrounded the flight deck. Finn and Wanda bid Poe a brief goodbye and good luck before boarding the Falcon with Han and Chewie.
They were currently traveling in light speed on their way to the Starkiller base. Finn and Wanda stood behind the pilots seats of Han and Chewie.
"So how are we getting in?" Wanda asked.
Han looked back at her, "Their shields have a fractional refresh rate. Keeps anything traveling slower than lightspeed from getting through."
Finn became concerned about this and he worriedly questioned Han, "We're making our landing approach at lightspeed?"
Chewie growled out a response to Finn, who was trying to keep his cool.
"All right, Chewie, get ready." Han advised the wookie. "And...now!"
They exited lightspeed, Finn and Wanda hanging tightly onto whatever they could as they exited quickly and abruptly.
Chewie growled at Han, to which Han just yelled, "I am pulling up!"
The Falcon shot straight up, then leveled again, crashing into a whole area of snowy trees.
The growling and yelling from Han and his wookie seemed to continue as Solo tried to control the ship. "I get any higher they'll see us!"
Wanda was trying to keep herself from throwing up, the impulsive jerking of the ship making her want to double-over.
The Falcon shot out from the trees, landing and skidding roughly, barely stopping on the ledge to prevent falling over.
Wanda could barely stand up right, but pushed through the feeling regardless as she grabbed coverage before exiting into the cold weather outside the ship.
Her, Finn, Han, and Chewie left the ship running towards the base of the First Order.
After running a bit, they stopped at a near by structure. "The flooding tunnels are over that ridge. We'll get in that way," Finn informed.
"What was your job when you were based here?" Han asked Finn for reassurance.
"Sanitation," Finn replied still looking around them.
Wanda grimaced as Han pushed Finn up against the building. "Sanitation," he growled. "Then how do you know how to disable the shields?"
"He doesn't," Wanda said in realization. "He's here for Rey."
Han had a conflicted look in his eyes as he criticized Finn, "People are counting on us. The galaxy is counting on us."
"Solo, we'll figure it out," Finn said trying to resolve the issue. He pointed at Wanda, "Plus we still have her. And we'll use the Force."
Han was getting more and more frustrated by the minute. "Look, you can't leave everything on this girl's shoulders, and that's not how the Force works!"
Wanda was getting colder and colder, her leather jacket and black pants not being enough to provide a proper amount of warmth. Chewie felt the same as he wailed out.
Han turned towards him, "Oh, really? You're cold?"
Chewie just grumbled back, causing Wanda to chuckle, her teeth chattering at the same time making an odd combination of a noise. She couldn't decide if this weather or the weather on Jakku was worse.
Her attention was pulled away from her freezing state as Finn said, "C'mon." They were running...again.
Well, at least Wanda could get her body heat up. She hoped.

The four arrived at the base fairly quickly, getting in was easier than expected. As they exited an elevator, there was a trooper waiting on the other side. "Hey!"
Chewie blasted the sucker with ease.
Han examined around. "The longer we're here the less luck we're gonna have."
They needed to devise from their plan almost completely, as it turned out Finn didn't know where the shields were located at all. To say this made Han displeased was an understatement.
"The shields." Han stated.
"I have an idea about that," Finn recovered.
The new plan was to find the silver trooper, Phasma, who Wanda recalled from the night the villagers were massacred. The night she first met Poe.
They snuck around corners and walls, starting to follow the tall trooper. They cornered her, Chewie tackling her and Wanda smirking at this.
They brought her to a secluded area. Finn squinted up at her, "You remember me?"
"FN-2187," she said in a bored tone as Wanda held her captive in her powers.
"Not anymore. The name's Finn and I'm in charge," Finn started getting a little too excited. "I'm in charge now, Phasma. I'm in charge!"
"Bring it down, bring it down," Han whispered.
Finn listened for the most part and Wanda just chuckled seeing him too amped with energy. "Follow me," he told Phasma.

They found their way to the monitoring room where Finn convinced Phasma to disable the shields after threatening her.
Without her being much help to them anymore, Han suggested to throw her in the garbage chute, mentioning something about a trash compactor. Wanda was confused by this, but Finn and Han seemed to think it was the greatest idea ever so she went along with it.
As they rid themselves of the burden that was Phasma, the four searched around for Rey. Han and Finn stopped at a corner, Wanda and Chewie keeping watch.
There was no incoming so far, and Wanda spotted Finn and Solo looking at something across from them through a window. It was Rey. Wanda let a smile creep up on her face.
She got the signal from Han to keep going as he figured out the directions in his mind of how to get to Rey.
They turned more corners, until they were sharply met with a yelping Rey. Her eyes widened, more than relieved to see all of their faces.
Wanda let Finn and Rey have their moment before Han interrupted it, "Escape now, hug later." They all rushed to the elevator they entered through.
Wanda greeted Rey with quick nod and a smile which Rey returned. Wanda was glad to have the girl back.
