RYAN PULLED REYNA into the enormous building by her hand, only letting her go once the two had made their way further inside. The music could be heard all the way down the hall, making it fairly easy for the two to find their way towards the room holding all their friends. The moment Ryan picked up on their location, he quickened his pace, while Reyna lingered closely behind him. She was wearing a pair of red stiletto pumps and a tight black dress, which made it almost impossible for her to move as quickly as she wanted to, but she tried, nonetheless.

"Motherhood has made you annoyingly slow," Ryan called from his place in front of her. He stopped in the middle of the hall to wait for her to catch up, and when she did he grabbed her hand and began pulling her towards the large door at the end of the hall.

"I bet I'm still fast enough to rip my shoe off and bury the heel of it into your eye socket," Reyna breathed out as she gave Ryan's hand a death squeeze. "Don't try me, Reynolds."

Ryan gave a nervous laugh and shoved the door open. "I wish I wasn't so scared of you."

Reyna didn't hear him, though, as the loud music seemed to drown out as much sound as possible. She couldn't believe Joe and Anthony had planned such an extravagant party, let alone invited her and the rest of her friends to it. It took her back to her time working in the MCU and made her feel a bit nostalgic. She missed working with Marvel Studios more than she cared to admit, but her time had long passed.

The room was filled with a ton of people, all of whom Reyna and Ryan couldn't make out in the dim light. All they could detect was the sound of cheers that seemed to be coming from a semi-lit area in the middle of the room, as well as a few cast and crew members dancing to the music in a darker part of the room. The light that shined from the closing door behind Reyna and Ryan, however, gave a few people some insight as to who had just entered the room, and before the pair could even think, they were being tackled in hugs.

"Oh my gosh!" Scarlett's voice sounded in Reyna's ear. "I've missed you so much."

Reyna squealed happily and squeezed her friend back as tightly as she could do so without hurting her. "I've missed you too!"

"Ryan, my man," came Anthony's loud voice from beside the two girls.

Reyna pulled away from Scarlett and grabbed her hand before averting her attention to Anthony, whose face seemed to shine under the flashing neon lights.

"Last time I saw you, you spit your drink on me," Ryan remarked as Anthony pulled away.

Anthony laughed and gave his backs a few pats. "You should be thanking me for that; it's not everyday you're given the opportunity to be cleansed by a god."

Reyna scoffed and moved away from Scarlett to hug Anthony. "I can't believe you just called yourself a god."

"Well, y'know," Anthony chuckled as he squeezed Reyna. "It's good to see you, Rey."

"Likewise," Reyna smiled, though it dropped when she remembered her drunk husband. "Where's Sebastian at?"

Scarlett grabbed her hand and pulled her away before Anthony was given the chance to answer her. "Sebastian is somewhere over there playing some sort of drinking game with Evans, my stunt double, and Leighton," Scarlett informed her, gesturing towards the semi-lit area Reyna had noticed earlier.

"He's drinking?" Reyna asked with a raised brow as Scarlett began pulling her further into the room. "I thought Anthony and Chris cut him off?"

"Oh, he's not drinking," Anthony said from behind her. "He's helping Leighton drink so they can win the game. I swear these people are so competitive—it sickens me."

"They all work for Marvel," Ryan snorted. "The fuck do you expect?"

Reyna's eyes lit up when she noticed Chris Hemsworth's large, smiling frame in front of the wall a few feet away from her. His focus was most likely on the game going on, Reyna thought, and so she pulled herself away from Scarlett and hurried over to Chris as best as she could. She let out a squeal as she jumped on him, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck.

A deep chuckle rumbled in Chris's chest and he hugged her back. "All I have to do is smell you to know you're Reyna," Chris said as he practically spun her around.

"What a weird thing to say," Reyna teased as he sat her back down on the floor.

"It's good to see you, Rey," Chris told her, his accent thicker than she remembered it being.

"Well, well, well," a new voice sounded, catching Reyna's attention. "If it isn't one of my favorite little witches."

Reyna smiled widely as she turned to face Jeremy, who stood in front of Robert and Tom. She moved to hug Jeremy, giving his body a tight and loving squeeze before moving onto the two behind him.

"You need to take those shoes off. I don't like that you're the same size as me; it's just not gonna fly," Robert said as he hugged Reyna, eliciting a laugh from the blonde.

"And to think I actually missed you."

"I know you missed me, though," came Tom's accented voice.

Reyna smiled at him and pulled him into a hug. "You've grown up so much."

"Well," he chuckled.

"Enough with the formalities," Ryan spoke as he approached the group. "We're just here to get Sebastian and take him back to the condo so he can dick her down before she leaves again."

Jeremy practically spat out his drink at the sound of his words, and Tom simply walked away to find a drink, not at all wanting to be a part of their sensual conversation.

"You sure know how to get straight to the point," Robert breathed out as he patted Ryan's shoulders. "I admire that about you."

"Where is Sebastian anyway?" Reyna asked.

Chris grabbed her by the arm and pulled her over a few feet, leaving her in line of sight of the game that was currently taking place in the middle of the floor. She could see Chris Pratt, Chad, Paul, Joe, Anthony, and other cast and crew members surrounding Chris Evans, Scarlett's stunt double, Leighton, and Sebastian, all of whom were standing in front of beer kegs in the middle of the floor.

Reyna's breath caught in her throat as she laid eyes on Sebastian. She hadn't seen him in person in over three months, and seeing him now seemed to relieve the slight ache in her heart from the fact. She wanted nothing more than to run up to him and hug him and kiss him, and had he not been in the middle of a game, she most likely would have—had she been able to remove her feet from the floor, she most likely would have.

Sebastian hadn't seen Reyna yet, as he was way too invested in his game to pay attention to anything else going on around him, but Reyna could see him perfectly fine. He was drunk, absolutely hammered, and Reyna could confirm that just by watching the way he moved—just by watching the way he struggled to hold Leighton in her spot above the keg. His face was a bit pale as well, and she could see the beads of sweat along his forehead. She hadn't seen him in such a state in several years, and it worried her, but only slightly.

Sebastian was just as screwed up on the outside as he was on the inside, though. He had only started drinking to take away the pain—the pain of missing his family, his Reyna. He had never meant to let himself get as drunk as he had, though, but there was no turning back for him now. He had screwed up tremendously and he knew that, but what he didn't know was to what extent he had done so.

A roar of cheers emitted from the surrounding party guests as Leighton flipped herself back onto the floor and threw her hands up in triumph, as did Sebastian.

Chris, Robert, Jeremy, Reyna, and Ryan watched them with amused smiles plastered onto their faces, all while nursing on their own drinks.

"I believe you owe me twenty dollars," Chris said to Robert, a smirk on his face as he looked down at the older man.

Reyna simply ignored their banter and focused her attention on Sebastian, a smile on her face as she watched him and Leighton exchange excited hugs. It was beyond her why people got so excited during drinking games, but she couldn't deny that it was entertaining watching a bunch of drunk people get happy over something of such little importance.

As Reyna began her way towards Sebastian she was forced to stop. Her smile dropped from her face as she watched Sebastian's eyes light up as he looked down at Leighton, much the same way they did when he looked at her; Sebastian seemed shocked as he gazed down at Leighton, happy even, almost as if he were seeing her for the first time in so long. His mouth moved quickly as he spoke, much too quickly for Reyna to make out what he was saying, but before she even had the chance to sift through her mind about what he could have possibly said to her, she was forced to assess the horrible ache that had snuck its way back into her heart. Reyna's green eyes welled up with tears as she watched Sebastian pull away from a very unexpected kiss with Leighton, and not only had it been unexpected on Reyna's part, but everyone else's as well, including Leighton's.

The room went dead silent, the only sound to be heard was that of the music playing in the background. No one spoke or moved from their spot, as they weren't really sure what to do or say. All they could do was stand there and stare at Sebastian in shock, unable to believe what they had just witnessed him do.

It was only about five seconds later that someone finally spoke up, though the words were just words of shock and surprise. Leighton ran off shortly after that, leaving Sebastian to ponder over what the hell he had just done.

Reyna—who was now in tears—wiped her face and started towards Sebastian, sliding her ring off of her finger in the process. She grabbed Sebastian's wrist in her hand, causing him to turn to look at her. He wasn't allowed the opportunity to speak before she shoved the ring into his hand, craning her head up to look into his eyes.

"You miss me so fucking much, don't you?" she spoke through her tears.

"Rey—"

Reyna simply shook her head and shoved his arm away before scurrying off, leaving several of her friends to follow after her.

"Reyna!" Scarlett called out to her as she ran alongside Ryan to catch up with her.

Reyna turned to face her, the tears now flowing faster down her face.

"I'm turning in early for the night," Reyna sniffed. "It's clear that my presence isn't wanted here, nor has it ever been."

Reyna didn't allow her to respond, as she grabbed Ryan's hand in her own and pulled him out the door with her, and all anyone could do was watch.
