I entered my house and saw mother doing the dishes.

"Are you hungry, Eleanor?", she asked in a stone cold voice.

"No, mother. I already ate.", I replied.

My mother never had a pet name for me, she would always call me Eleanor.

"Alright. And before I forget, you've got mail."

"I'll check it later, mother."

Meg

I tiptoed silently to my room, trying hard not to wake my parents up.

"Meg!"

I let out a shriek.

"You look so funny this way!", my younger brother said as he rolled on the floor laughing.

I rolled my eyes and asked him to shut up. "You gave me a fright, you fool!", I said.

"And do you realise that you're late? It's way past your curfew. But don't worry, mom and dad are sleeping and nobody will wake them up.......Or maybe I can if you want me to.", he said with a smirk on his face.

"Arghh. Fine. What will it take for you to keep quiet?", I asked him, irritated.

"I don't know. Maybe a new headphone would do the work.", he replied.

"Fine. Remember to keep shut though."

"Sure, by the way, I found a letter posted in your name in the mailbox today morning. I've kept it in your room."

"what? Okay. I'll read it later. Now off you go."

Dan

"We should go on a date again, Dan", she said in the most annoyingly exciting way.

"Uh, sure. What was your name, again?", I asked. I really did not remember her name.

"Don't you remember my name !? I'm out of here. You're such a play boy!", she screamed right at my face with her fake barbie doll voice.

I just sighed. All my dates had been very unsuccessful lately. I just couldn't get my mind out of certain things.

I walked back home stopping at my mailbox to check if we've got mail. I had a letter delivered in my name. I took it inside with me, deciding to read it a little later.
