After about two hours drive, Sam, Markus and Adam and his team reached Philadelphia.

They stopped by a gas station, where everyone got out except for Sam.

"I still think it's a terrible idea." Markus said, leaning on the window.

"Just find her parents." Markus sighed and gave him nod. They seated themselves in a black jeep and drove away, taking road opposite to Sam.

Shortly Sam reached a broad avenue in Harrowgate, he turned left and reached the huge campus of The Luciano Cartels.

Meanwhile, Catherine and Miles rushed to the tops of different residential buildings situated at a reasonable distance from the campus where as Rick dropped Adam and Markus a little closer to building, two avenues across the campus. The campus as it seemed from the outside was much like an old, abandoned school, worn out with the passage of time.

As catherine and Miles toggled the scope of their snipers , they could see a few men on the roofs.

"Three." Said, Catherine through intercom, watching over the back of the campus.

"Two." Miles replied.

Markus and Adam were aware, carefully, under the guidance of Catherine, they made their way to the back side of the campus through narrow alleyways.

From the viewpoint of Miles, front of the campus building was visible, as he watched, he saw Sam getting out of the car with his hands raised up in surrender. Some men, aiming their guns at his head, neared him. He kicked at his knees, he stumbled and kneeled down on the ground, those men yelled something he couldn't hear but Sam's action made it clear that they told him to cross his hands at his back. Thereafter, they handcuffed him.

"They fu**ing handcuffed him." Miles said.

"Keep an eye on him, we'll have to get to him soon." Markus replied, urgency was evident in his voice. "Clean the terrace."

"Yeah." They replied. Usually, Catherine and Miles were chill people, it was visible in their antics but today, even they seemed pretty stressed out. One mistake and everything they worked for could go in vain.

"On count of three, 3....2....1" Miles said, and the five men watching over from the terrace were dead, in a matter of seconds.

Upon getting clearance from her, Markus and Adam climbed a not so tall concrete wall, fencing the campus and entered inside, a man standing there saw them but before he could shoot, bullet from Catherine's gun penetrated his skull.

Adam quickly threw his body, in a waste container.

"All the best, you both." She said, as they entered the building from a window. No one was in their sight, it was as if they were all interested in watching Sam kneeling down infront of someone.

Burning midday sun shone relentlessly over him, sweat had dampened his body still he didn't move a muscle, his eyes still held a gaze, just as fierce as a lion.

Breaking the deafening silence that lingered in the air, "So you're here." Clara's voice resonated throughout the campus. Sam steadied up on his feet. Her men immediately aimed his gun at him. She signalled them to lower their guns and so they did.

"I am here, now let them go." He said.

"I don't remember calling you alone." She countered, dismissing his words.

"They have nothing to do with this. You want revenge take it from me. Let them go." They held each other's gazes, anger and hatred floated in their eyes and none of them made an attempt to try and conceal it.

"Yes, yes, you're right. It is your turn but that doesn't mean, they get to walk out. Once I kill you and the saviour. The Luciano Cartels will become the most powerful gang and then it will be Damon's turn." She smirked and beckoned her men to aim at him as she walked inside the building, under the shade, followed by him.

She walked closer to Sam, and trailed the muzzle of her gun, down his jawline. His muscles tensed, it was becoming so hard for him to control his anger, it was only the thought of Chloe keeping him sane.

"You will all have to die." She whispered, and punched him in his guts, earning a groan from him.

"Where are they ?" She held him by his hair, there eyes met again. His eyes were blazing red in anger but he knew he needed to keep his calm.

"They're are not here. I am alone." She anticipated this answer, she exhaled a deep breath, letting go of his hair, she turned to her men.

"Make him speak." They nodded and two men walked to him. They seated him onto a chair and tied his feet. One of them punched him right across his face, while the other one did the same from the other side. Every blow that came to his way was awaking the devil inside him but as long as he knew Chloe's parents were safe, he had to swallow the humiliation.

They hit him with the butt plate of their guns, that seemed to have hurt his ribcage, his breathing turned shallow, corners of his lips bled, red flowed from his forehead. His vision was turning blurry. As if it was not enough, the man broke his arm. Sam yelped in pain.

"Guys, you gotta hurry." Miles said.

"We're fu**ing trying." Adam retorted, shooting at a man ahead. Markus and Adam had reached the third floor of the four floor building, quietly, killing two to three men guarding each floor when they heard loud banging. Becoming more alert than before, they slowly walked to the sound.

Upon reaching infront of the door, Markus and Adam exchanged a quick look and Markus threw open the door while Adam was ready to shoot.

"Who the fu** are you ?" Markus questioned, his gun aiming at the man, Lewis, standing infront of them.

"You don't know me, I do." Lewis said,

"I don't have fu**ing time to waste. You tell me or I'll shoot you right now." Lewis sucked in a sharp breath and said. "I am Lewis...." Just as that name rolled of his tongue, Markus recognised him, it was as if his brain shut down functioning, and he pushed Lewis against the wall and buried the muzzle of his gun at his forehead, "You fu**ing piece of shit, you considered Chloe as your friend and got her parents into this mess."

"I didn't do a sh*t.....I can never think of hurting her in any way. It is all Clara's plan.

"Where are they ?"

"I can take you there."

"And why will you do that ?" Adam asked.

"For Chloe."

"Don't you dare to trick me." He gave him a short nod and they walked back down silently and shortly reached the stairs that lead to the basement.

There were three men there, hurriedly, Adam and Markus shot them and they entered a room adjacent to Clara's office. At once, all three pair of eyes fell on the weary bodies of Chloe's parents. Upon hearing the sound of approaching footsteps, their eyes flickered open. Terror was written on their face, their body was stiff as if they were paralysed.

"Don't worry we're here to take you to safety." Markus said, trying to reduce their fear. They nodded. Lewis and Markus untied them while Adam guarded the area.

"I know a secret exit." Lewis said. They nodded and rushed to Clara's office. Lewis dashed towards the big picture and slid it sideways to its right, a secret iron door came into their view. Lewis searched for the key in the drawers and found a big key in the second drawer. He unlocked the door and they hastily walked to the other side.

"Hold on a little longer, buddy." Markus thought. He told Rick to meet him outside behind the building.

Once they were out of the narrow pathway. They opened the gate, just then Rick pulled over.

"Get them outta here. Hurry." Markus said, "What is all this happening ?" Natalie cried, Steven's hold on her tightened. Markus turned, "I know it's too much for you, but right now you gotta believe us. We'll get you back safely to Chloe."

"Chloe...Chloe..where is she ?" Words flew out of Steven's mouth.

"She's safe. Go now." They immediately got into the car, however, as soon as they drove off, sound of a gunshot resonated throughout the campus......
