"These bastards just don't know when to quit!"

(M/N) snarled as he sent a wave of Chaos energy straight at a horde of Tramplers.

The Tramplers screeching as they were cut in half.

"Hah!"

Dan Heng swung his spear and struck down his opponent with terrifying efficiency.

"Take this!"

March shot several ice infused arrows at a group of baryons.

The monsters disappearing as they couldn't withstand any more punishment.

"Hah!" "Yah!"

Stelle and Caelus struck down several Reavers with their bats of doom.

"Woah..."

Arlan just stared in amazement at how well the group was working together. He didn't even know that (M/N) could fight!

...Though he was confused on what (M/N) powers were.

'They seemed linked to the Path of Destruction.' He thought to himself. 'But it feels too different than those that follow the Path of Destruction. Not to mention that it seems to embody the other paths as well!'

While not impossible for somebody to embody the virtues of different paths. They can only be given one path to go on (since Trailblazer seems to be the only one to use multiple paths. Probably because Trailblazer is the main character). (M/N)...

'Truly an enigma.' Arlan shook his head.

Of course, that wasn't mentioning his lovers.

*BOOM!!*

(M/N) suddenly blasted a horde of Antibaryons with a vengeance.

'I feel pissed all of a sudden.' The male thought to himself.

Arlan nervously chuckled and sweatdropped.

Before wincing in slight pain.

'Ow...' He thought to himself. 'Probably shouldn't have run so fast.'

But could you blame him?

(M/N) was quite popular (much to the male's annoyance. He likes to be left alone in peace) among the residents of the Space Station. But he rarely liked to mingle with people and kept to himself.

A lone wolf, so to speak.

Of course, he wasn't THAT antisocial. He just didn't bother with most people because they seemed more interested in either flirting or talking about nonsensical things that (M/N) didn't really care about.

And there was also the fact that he was a complete mystery to them. No one knows where he came from, or why he decided to work on Herta Space Station. And any attempts to find out more were simply ignored.

Not even Herta could get anything out of him and that was saying something.

So, any news, even something as outrageous as this. Would be the talk of the town! ...Well, Space Station to be exact.

'Though, they are rather cute together.'

The Head of the Security Department thought to himself.

'Though, are they really okay with sharing the same person?' Arlan thought to himself as he looked at the twins. 'Don't they find it weird?'

Of course, since only (M/N), Kafka, and Silver Wolf knew of what exactly happened. It was no surprise that other people would be wondering how two siblings would be okay with sharing the same lover.

*BAM*

Soon another Trampler appeared.

Dan Heng scoffed as he faced off with it.

"The truth of life and death." He chanted as he could feel his power reaching its peak. "Revealed in an instant!"

Suddenly, Dan Heng and his opponent were transported to another scene. A rather peaceful, serene sanctuary.

"This sanctuary." Dan Heng closed his eyes. Before opening them with firm, steel resolve. "Is but a vision!"

With that said, he struck at breakneck speed and struck the Voidranger down,

"BREAK!"

He shouted as he obliterated the monster.

The Trampler roared as it disintegrated.

Short while later.

"WHEW!"

March 7th wiped off some sweat.

"That was a fun workout!"

She smiled.

"Indeed." (M/N) walked over to them. "Been a while since I had some action. Muscles were feeling a bit stiff from standing on the sidelines."

"Your combat prowess exceeds anyone I know of."

Arlan spoke up.

"You're not normal, that's for sure."

"Hmph."

(M/N) scoffed.

"Let's go."

Was all he said as they headed to the elevator.

*Step* *Step*

The sounds of footsteps could be heard as the group raced towards their destination.

"There's the elevator!"

March shouted as their target was within their reach.

*ROAR*

Only for yet another Trampler to appear as long as a group of Distorters!

"We don't have time for this!"

(M/N) growled as he tore one apart by running through it with superspeed.

*TWING* *BAM* *BAM* *SLICE*

Stelle, Caelus, March, and Han Deng went on the offensive with March covering Arlan.

Flashes of light could be seen as the group fought against the Antimatter Legion.

"Annoying!"

(M/N) shouted out as he leapt into the air and shouted:

"Chaos Spear!"

Sending a barrage of Chaos energy right at them.

*FWUM!!*

Soon more started appearing.

"My turn!"

March shouted as she began glowing.

"Watch this awesome move!"

She shouted as she leapt into the air and released an arrow that exploded into mini ice figures.

*BOOM* *BAM* BLAST*

The monsters were weakened and dazed from that onslaught.

"Stelle! Caelus!"

(M/N) suddenly shouted out to the two Trailblazers.

"Focus your energy." He said. "Feel it run through your body and concentrate it into a single area."

"Right!"

The two said as they began directing their power into a specific direction.

*HUM*

They could feel the power swelling up inside as their death bats started glowing.

Caelus: "Rules were made to broken!"

Stelle: "Rules were made to broken."

The two said simultaneously. What was interesting to note though, was that Caelus was more aggressive. While Stelle was calmer and more composed.

Both however, were ready to smack a bitch.

And smack some bitches is what they did.

*BAM!!*

Focusing and concentrating on their technique, they swung their powered up dull bats and swung.

*SWING!!*

And sent the Distorters out of the ballpark.

*SCrreeeeeeeeeecchhh......."

The monsters' screams faded out into the distance.

"Damn...that's badass."

(M/N) whistled impressed.

Stelle and Caelus suddenly turned into blushing messes at (M/N) praise.

*ROAR!!*

Another Trampler suddenly appeared and summoned more Distorters to its side.

*Crackle*

"You punks really think that can stop me?"

(M/N) smirked as he lifted his arm.

Only to stop as he sensed a new presence.

*WHIR!!*

Suddenly an advanced drone like machine appeared from out of nowhere.

*BUZZ!!*

And effortlessly destroyed all the remaining enemies left.

"..."

"Oh!" March realized. "That's Himeko!"

"Himeko?"

Stelle blinked.

"Who's Himeko?"

Caelus asked.

"A friend and a mentor."

Dan Heng simply said as the group proceeded to walk into the elevator.

-Next Floor-

A woman can be seen looking at something on the monitor.

"Why does it always have to get this exciting?"

The woman asked, amused.

*STEP*

The sound of footsteps grabbing her attention.

"Welcome back."

She smiled.

"Hey, Himeko!" March cheerfully replied. "Nice save! Though why did it take you so long? Any longer and we could have been beaten!"

(M/N) said nothing.

"I wouldn't have made a difference." Himeko coyly said. "My orbital cannon can deal with a whole bunch of enemies no problem. But if I did that here, it would have blown up the space station with it. And Herta would NOT like that."

"...I don't know." (M/N) admitted. "Seeing her face explode in pure anger would be a funny sight to see."

"...Only you would say that."

Arlan sweatdropped.

"Ah, Arlan!" Himeko turned to him. "Are you doing okay? Asta has been worried about you."

"I'm fine." Arlan said. "Just a few minor injuries, thanks for asking."

He told Himeko.

"I'll see you guys later." He said. "I should report to Head Researcher Lady Asta right now."

With that said, he walked off.

"That boy." Himeko shook her head, before turning to (M/N). "Long time no see, (M/N)."

She smiled warmly.

"Indeed, it has."

(M/N) smiled.

Stelle and Caelus blinked at the warm interactions between the two. Much different from how he interacted with March, Dan Heng, and Arlan.

"Hey, there." Himeko greeted the two. "Nice to meet you. "I'm Himeko, navigator of the Astral Express."

(Himeko)

"Navigator?"

Stelle blinked.

"In other words." March smiled. "She decides where the Astral Express goes!"

"Ah."

They said in unison.

"March hasn't been causing you any trouble along the way now, has she?"

Himeko asked.

"Hey!" March said. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Exactly how it sounds like."

(M/N) and Dan Heng deadpanned.

*Twitch*

"Think carefully about how you want to reply to that."

March stared at the two.

Caelus and Stelle looked at each other before nodding.

"We've never met a more reckless girl in our lives before."

Caelus truthfully stated.

"HEY! >:|"

March shouted out as Himeko laughed.

"My, my. Seems like you got a good handle on her already."

She smiled amused.

"And it seems that you all are getting along, splendidly."

She smiled, looking at the group.

"Meh." (M/N) shrugged as he suddenly got glomped by Stelle and Caelus. "If you say so."

"Oh?" Himeko raised an eyebrow. "Now what do we have here?"

"..."

(M/N) had the right to remain silent.

"He's our husband."

Stelle and Caelus bluntly stated.

If Himeko had been drinking her coffee, she would have spit it out from pure shock.

"HUS-!"

*SWIP*

"Keep it down!"

(M/N) hissed.

"It's not like that!"

He added.

"Really?" Himeko removed his hand from her mouth. "Cause from my perspective it seems like there is something going on."

"Especially with how sad they look right now."

!?

"With how sa-!?"

Quickly turning around, he saw Stelle and Caelus look downcasted at (M/N) words.

(M/N) twitched as he, for some reason, couldn't stand the looks of sadness. Like a kicked puppy (Note: I'm aware that they are more like raccoons, but I have never seen a sad raccoon before.).

Feeling guilty, he sighed.

"Look." He started. "This whole situation is still weird and unexpected for me. I never expected to be courted in such a way. And this is still new territory for me."

"If you think I hate you, you're wrong. I'm just not used to that kind of affection."

His words seem to have some sort of effect on them.

"Now, come here."

He hesitantly said, opening up his arms.

*Grip*

"GACK!"

And getting trapped in yet another tight hug from the two.

Giggling at the sight, she turned around.

"Well, come on." Himeko said. "Asta is just up ahead."

With that said, the group started walking to another area of the Master Control Zone. Along the way, they could see many researchers chatting about and giving updates on the current situation.

"Projectile radar tracking. Normal." A pink haired woman observed as the group walked towards her. "Telemetry signal frequency unusually high! Maintain at normal levels!"

"Our measurements predict that the Legion is about to unleash over ten waves of continuous attacks."

She continued.

'GREEEAATT!'

(M/N) thought sarcastically to himself.

More clean up to do!

Just like the Metarex.

"Everyone, brace yourselves!"

The lady ordered.

"Asta!" March called out. "We're back."

(Asta)

The girl called Asta turned around and noticed them.

"Whew, I'm glad you all are back safe." She said. "Asta told me about the situation at the storage zone-and about his injury. Thank you for all your hope."

Sighing, she said.

"In times of disaster, I realize more and more that the space station's researchers are its most valuable assets. Alas, we were ill-prepared for such emergencies...we should have built up our security and combat departments."

"Why you guys didn't, I'll never know." (M/N) facepalmed. "I would think that would be a top priority because well...we're in space. We're quite vulnerable to attack and not have the luxury of having a planet nearby to send reinforcements."

"Yeah, I understand that." Asta agreed. "But what I don't understand is why you kept your marriage a secret!"

"GAH!"

(M/N) nearly choked on his own mirth at that.

"What the hell?!"

"Arlan told me."

Asta explained.

"...Damn it, Arlan!"

(M/N) shouted.

"Look, it's more complicated than that and I'm NOT going to get into it right now!"

He growled.

*POKE*

As Stelle and Caelus began poking his angry puffed-up cheeks.

*Flash*

"Saving that one."

March smiled.

(M/N) grumbled as he simply let them be.

"Speaking of space stations." Himeko brought the topic back. "What's Herta stance on this?"

*Sigh*

"You know Herta." Asta said. "I sent her multiple letters, and all were met with silence. To her, the space station is but a mere warehouse for followers and rare items. She doesn't really care about it as much as we like to believe."

"Eh." (M/N) got the two to stop. "She might not treat the space station as something special. But it is her pride and joy and I know quite well that she would be devastated if it was destroyed."

"You really think so?"

Asta asked.

"Trust me."

Was all (M/N) said.

He was good at reading other people and knew that Herta cared more than she led people (and even herself) to believe.

"Well." Himeko smiled. "I'll just have to send her a letter myself. I'll let her know we brought the rare item she wanted. That should get her attention."

"Ah." Asta smiled. "That would be of great help."

"Although..." Here, she got a sneaky smile.

'I don't like that look on her face.'

(M/N) twitched.

"Do include the fact that (M/N) is married now to not just one, but TWO people."

Asta coyly said.

'ASD#%#TGSHF^&^%!@'

(M/N) mentally screamed in his head.

'Mark my words: Vengeance will be MINE!'

-Somewhere in the Multiverse, Eula made happy 'vengeance noises'-

'Payback (M/N)!' Asta smirked. 'Not to mention, Arlan report of your combat prowess. We could have had you be security and stand a better chance against the Antimatter Legion.'

Asta was evil.

"How about you guys take a walk."

Himeko suggested.

"You can do with some fresh air."

'Fresh air?'

The group thought to themselves.

Where were they going to get fresh air? They were in the middle of SPACE for crying out loud!

Deciding to get a feel of the situation, they went around and started talking to people.

After a short while later, they reconvened to Asta location.

*BLARE* *ALARM*

Where alarms suddenly started going off!

"What's happening?"

Stelle asked as Asta opened up a monitor.

Revealing the silhouette of a massive monster whose claw was tearing through the barrier.

"You guys need to get to the Express and leave!"

Asta shouted.

"Huh?!" March said. "But we can't just leave...!"

*Pat*

Himeko put a hand on her shoulder, shaking her head.

"..."

March worriedly back down.

"Let's go then."

Dan Heng said.

But before anyone else could say anything.

"Wait...where's (M/N)?"

Caelus suddenly realized, causing everyone to look to see that (M/N) was no longer there.

*FWOOSH!!*

The wind suddenly picked up as an (F/C) blur went past the researchers.

"AHH!!" "EEK!!" "WHAT THE HELL!?" "MORE LEGION MONSTERS!?"

"Where did he-?!"

*BAM*

The space station shook as the Antimatter Legion Beast broke through the defense barrier.

"Gah!" Asta shouted as she regains her bearings.

"The supply zone's defense won't hold for long!" Asta said. "You need to go, NOW!"

"But what about (M/N)!?"

March asked.

"Just hope and pray that he'll be safe!"

Was all Asta said as the group hurried to the Express.

As they continued running, Caelus, Stelle and March slowed down.

"Can we really leave them to their doom?" Caelus asked. "Just like this?"

"Doesn't feel right."

Stelle muttered to herself.

"If you intend to go back, be warned." Dan Heng spoke up. "That is a Doomsday Beast, the Legion planet destroyer. That is not something one can take on lightly."

"But..." March spoke up. "We can't just leave them like this to their fate, right?"

"Theoretically, we can fight it." Himeko said. "So long as a Lord Ravager does not intervene, we should be able to fend it off."

*Sigh*

"Be that as it may." Dan Heng spoke up again. "The Doomsday Beast can rip off the defense shield like tearing paper-and Herta herself is not here. The stations defenses are too weak to stand up against the Antimatter Legion."

"Not only that, but they have the blessing of the Aeon, Nanook: The Aeon of Destruction. They came well prepared, while everyone else was not."

"That's why it's absolutely important that we take Stelle and Caelus with us."

"Them?" Dan Heng blinked as he turned to the two newcomers. "They're that important?"

"Just a gut feeling." Himeko admitted. "But I feel that they might be just what we need to turn the tides. And besides, they are not going to leave without (M/N)."

"Right." "You got it."

The two nodded in agreement.

"Alright." Dan Heng conceded. "What's the plan?"

"This is the supply zone." Himeko said. "There is a path here that should take us to the railway quickly. Once there, we'll meet up with Welt."

???

"Mr. Yang?" March blinked. "He's here too? Didn't he stay on the Express?"

"The Astral Express tracks our coordinates in real time..." Dan Heng explained...AGAIN. "And with such a huge change in the space station's movements, there's no way Mr. Yang wouldn't have noticed."

"Hm-hmp!" Himeko nodded. "I can guarantee you that Mr. Yang is on his way here."

"We should be able to handle the Doomsday Beast. But if the Destruction Emanator were to appear...well, that might change things."

???

"The Destruction Emanator?"

The twins asked.

"Yes." Himeko nodded. "It's-"

*BOOM!!*

Suddenly the space station shook from a massive blast!

"What was that!?"

March shouted as she got up.

"It came from that way!"

Dan Heng pointed out.

"That's where the railway is!"

Himeko realized.

"quickly, there isn't much time!"

With that said, the group quickly headed towards the railway.

*ROAR!!*

*BAM!!* *BLAST!!* *SCHWING!!*

"We don't have time for you!"

Stelle shouted out as they made short work of the Antimatter Legion minions as they raced to the tracks.

Once they got there.

*BOOM*

They saw it.

(Doomsday Beast, Class: Planet Destroyer)

The Doomsday Beast in all its glory.

And fighting it...

"CHAOS LANCE!!*

Was all (M/N) said, as he charged up a stronger version of Chaos Spear.

*BLAST*

And shot a powerful beam of red Chaos energy at the Doomsday Beast.

*ROAR*

The beast roared in pain from the attack, stumbling in the air as a strange liquid, that could be considered its blood, leaked from the wound.

Angry, the Doomsday Beast launched an attack of its own.

*Flash*

Only for (M/N) to initiate a Chaos Snap and teleported out of there.

!!!

The onlookers and the Doomsday Beast just looked around in shock.

*BAM!!*

Only for (M/N) to teleport right behind the Doomsday Beast and performed a roundhouse kick.

*ROAR!!*

The Doomsday Beast roared as (M/N) teleported back to the ground.

"Hmph!"

(M/N) scoffed.

"You're a lot tougher than I initially thought. Good, I was getting bored with all the lackies you guys had to offer."

(M/N) taunted the dazed beast.

"(M/N)!!"

???

Said male was momentailry distracted at the shout of his name.

*GRAB*

Only to be hugged, again, by the twins who were happy and relieved that he was safe.

"Thank the Aeons, you're okay!"

March breathed a sigh of relief.

"What were you thinking?!" Himeko shouted at him. "Why did you decide to recklessly fight the Doomsday Beast all by yourself?!"

"Because everybody wouldn't stop panicking." (M/N) deadpanned. "So, I decided to just take care of the problem."

"...Bruh."

Dan Heng uncharacteristically said.

"Seriously!?"

March yelled.

"Seriously."

(M/N) said.

But before anyone else could say anything.

*ROAR!!*

The Doomsday Beast decided to remind them that it was still here.

"Round two then?"

(M/N) smirked.

"You're out of your league. There's no way you can take us all down."

He said as Caelus, Stelle, Himeko, March and Dan Heng all got into battle position.

The Doomsday Beast growled.

*Crackle*

"Very well, then."

(M/N) smirked.

"How about I show you the true meaning of CHAOS CONTROL!!"

Done, finally!

Don't know why I was having so much trouble with this chapter. Most likely, I didn't know where to end it.

And I kept losing motivation/ideas/lack of sleep. Yada, yada.

Sega has really seemed to branch out and diversify Chaos moves.

I didn't even know that Chaos Snap was a thing and that it was just short-range teleportation! I always thought it was just Chaos Control! Never knew it had a weaker version of it.
