Moonlight
Zoro POV
What just happened? Well, obviously, (Y/N) and Kin were standing on the deck, kissing, but still. What. Just. Happened. Ugh, I don't think I've ever been this confused in my life.
Deep inside, I died laughing when I saw Kin's reaction to being kicked in the balls, but, I didn't really laugh. Nor did I smile.
Seriously... I felt like I was attacked by Mihawk while tied up and extremely depressed.
I really don't think that I've felt this emotion before...
Oh wait...
I recall feeling this. Brings back memories of Kuina and Mihawk.
What's it called again?
Meh, who cares.
Besides, this Booze tastes weird.
I walked into the Dining room, and Nami was sitting at the table, reading the newspaper.
'What're you doing here?' Nami said once I entered, not taking her eyes off her newspaper.
"Booze. Need a new one. This one tastes weird."
'You're more upset than usual... Anything wrong?'
"No."
'(Y/N) and Kin?'
"NO!"
'It's definitely (Y/N) and Kin. You're jealous, right?'
"NO! SHUT UP YOU WITCH!"
Nami laughed. 'It's him.'
"NO!"
'Don't worry, I won't tell anyone.'
'SHUT UP!"
Nami laughed as she exited the dining room, and I got another beer from the rack, this time, the booze tastes normal.
I. Hate. Her. So. Much.
"You're definitely Jealous." A little voice said at the back of my mind.
"I'm not." I mumbled to myself.
The question is... Am I?
Normal POV
(Y/N) tossed and turned in her hammock. She couldn't sleep, and nobody was on ship watching. She knew she shouldn't've taken so many naps throughout the day, and now it came to this. It was probably around one AM by her estimate, and She was pretty sure Nami and Vivi were long asleep. Silence filled the air, only sound was the waves crashing against the boat, carrying it mindlessly in one direction. Kin was sleeping in the dining room, and (Y/N) couldn't hear a thing. Everyone was asleep. Everyone except for her.
(Y/N) sat up, and her eyes searched for the trapdoor. Her eyes had been adjusted to the darkness ages ago, and all she saw was a room with a blackish tint. She stumbled over to the trapdoor, and just before she lifted it open, a voice mumbled:
'(Y/N)... Where're you going...' She knew it was Vivi.
"Bathroom. Just go back to sleep." (Y/N) said before closing the trapdoor as quietly as possible. (Y/N) wasn't going to the bathroom, she was going onto the deck for some fresh night air. The full moon was out anyways.
When she stepped outside, the first thing that hit her was the air. It was slightly colder than the air at 9 o'clock, but she didn't mind. The second thing was the light. The moon was high up in the sky now, and casted a bright light over the ocean. (Y/N) swore she could see fish.
She smiled and leaned against the wooden railing, and stared off into the distance.
Minutes passed without sound.
'(Y/N)?' A voice behind her said, and (Y/N) turned around. In the moonlight, stood Zoro, three swords still by his side. He never leaves his swords. Oh wait, never is an understatement. The moonlight gave him a brighter, whiter, and more pale look over his face. Under the moonlight, (Y/N) had no doubt that he looked more peaceful and calm.
'What're you doing here?' Zoro asked.
"I was about to ask you the same thing. Knowing you, You should be asleep."
'I can't sleep.'
(Y/N) Froze. Did Zoro just say... That he couldn't sleep? If Zoro couldn't sleep, something's definitely wrong with him. Her response was going up to him and putting her hand on his forehead. His temperature was normal.
'What're you doing?'
"You're not sick... If you're not sick, how come you can't sleep?"
'I dunno. Just not tired.'
"Something's wrong with you." (Y/N) commented before turning back to the moon, and smiled.
'Listen... If you hate Kin... then... why did you...'
"Long story short. I was about to slap him, when I tripped. Now, as an assassin, whenever I'm on a mission, I can't trip, otherwise I'll give away my position. I trained myself, so whenever I trip, I immediately regain balance, and continue on the mission. I did just that, and when I regained balance, our faces were touching."
'Huh.'
(Y/N) sighed, and looked at the moon, smiling.
"Lovely night, eh?"
He didn't respond. He just looked at the moonlight illuminating her face. Under the moonlight, her (S/C) skin looked white. Almost as white as the moon. Even her hair had a more white-ish tint to it.
Zoro hated to admit it, but... She was much more prettier under the moonlight. Almost like a real fallen angel. It took her a few seconds to realise he was staring.
"Uh..." (Y/N) blushed. "Hi?"
Zoro brushed a chunk of hair behind (Y/N)'s ear.
"Wha..." (Y/N) was red as a tomato now. (Y/N) was an assassin who loved to kill, but whenever she's confronted with things like this, she instantly turns to the Demon that she was to a shy angel.
'I reckon you look nicer this way.' He said before turned away, and entered the mens quarters.
It took 'round about a minute for (Y/N) to take full account of what happened, and when she did, she felt like she was a stick of butter exposed to fire, oozing through her clothes. When she finally cooled down, she walked back to the storage room, and opened the trapdoor.
She slumped down on the hammock, face still red.
'What took you so long?' A voice said. It was Nami.
"I dunno. Might've ate and drink a bit too much at dinner."
'Oh really?'
"Yeah? What do you think might've happened? Got attacked by some kind of giant spider in the bathroom? Sanji perved on me?"
'Nah, I was thinking something more actually.'
"Tell me."
'Let me guess... Zoro?'
(Y/N) froze up.
'Yep, It was him.'
"N-No!"
'Don't lie to me.' Nami hid a smile in her voice. 'I know it all.'
(Y/N) was speechless.
'Don't worry, I'll keep it a secret.' She laid back down.
'You've still got three weeks. I'll enjoy the show.'
Seconds later, she started snoring softly, and (Y/N) laid down.
Minutes passed, and she eventually fell asleep, with one question in her head.
Will Nami win the bet?
