Early in the morning, the sounds of birds chirping once again woke Silver. He rolled over in his blankets before groaning. He hated it when the birds woke him up so early, he just wanted some sleep. Silver sighed before opening his eyes, he looked over at Blaze who was still sound asleep. That's when he remembered what happened last night. The man trying to take him, Blaze running after them, and a bolt of lightning striking the man. Silver had to know what was going on, and he needed to know it now.

Silver quickly got out of his bed made of blankets and he went over to Blaze who was still sleeping peacefully. "Blaze, wake up!!!" Blaze's eyes shot open when his yelling woke her up. "What?!" She asked full of concern from his yelling. "We need to go see Chris and talk to him about what happened last night, now get ready for the day. The sooner we leave the better." Silver quickly started to get ready and Blaze did the same.

Soon they finished getting ready and they both walked out of the cave. "I hope Chris can tell us what happened with the lightning bolt." Blaze said. "I really hope so, if he can't then I don't know what we will do." Silver sighed.

They arrived at the city and made their way to the store that Chris worked at. As soon as they walked up to the door, Chris arrived as well. "Hey guys. I'm glad to see you again." Chris gave them a warm smile. "We need your help Chris." Silver looked up at him. "Sure thing, come inside, lets talk in the store." Chris unlocked the door then they all walked inside.

"What can I help you with?" Chris turned his attention to Silver. "Something happened last night. We were in the forest skipping rocks at the lake when this guy jumped out and grabbed me. He started running off with me and Blaze tried to get me but she couldn't keep up with the guys running. That's when she held out her hand to try and reach me but a bolt of lightning shot out from her hand and hit the man in the face. He dropped me and he fell to the ground before passing out, but the most important thing that we need your help with is the lightning. What was it?"

Chris tilted his head in confusion. "So you're telling me, she shot lightning out of her hand?" Silver nodded, "yes". "That means you're telling me she has some sort of electricity powers." Silver nodded once more. "That's right, I saw it with my own eyes." He claimed. "What books have you kids been reading?" Silver rolled his eyes. "You have to believe me Chris, it really happened." "Show me then. Show me this so called power of hers that you claim she has." Chris said. "Ok, just follow me. We will show you it in the forest so no one else sees it." Silver grabbed onto Chris's hand then he took off in a run with Blaze and Chris following him.

They arrived in the forest quickly and they followed Chris to the same lake where the previous event with lightning had occurred. "If you can shoot a bolt of lightning, do it right here next to the lake so I can splash water on the grass, the lightning could cause a fire." Chris told them. "We can't risk a fire breaking loose through the forest." He added. Silver and Blaze nodded. "I suggest we both take a step back. I'd rather not be struck by lighting." Silver said before taking a step back along with Chris.

"Go ahead Blaze, show Chris what you can do." Blaze nodded then she held her hand out towards the grass next to the lake. Just like before, another bolt of lightning shot out from her hand and struck the grass causing a small fire to start. Chris stared at Blazes hand then down at the small fire where the lightning bolt has struck. Silver ran over to the lake and reached his hands down to the water then he splashed some of the water onto the fire to put it out. Chris watched as the flame died and he examined the burnt spot on the ground.

"Well? Do you believe us now?" Silver asked Chris who was still speechless over what had happened. "I think we broke him." Blaze walked over to Chris and she went to tap him but Silver quickly ran over to Blaze and pulled her away from Chris. "Don't touch him, we don't know how dangerous your lightning can be." Blaze looked down before nodding her head. She never wanted to hurt Chris, not after all he's done for them.

"Chris, snap out of it." Silver reached up and gripped onto his shoulders then he shook Chris a little. Chris blinked and shook his head snapping himself back into reality.

"S...She has p...powers...." Chris was stumbling over his own words in disbelief of Blazes power. "I know, that's what I've been trying to tell you, but I don't know what to do about it." Silver looked back at Blaze. "We can't tell the public, if anyone else finds out about this then they will alert the government and Blaze will become a science experiment. So don't tell anyone else about this." Chris said firmly. "You're the only person we talk to, so we can't tell anyone else anyways." Silver has a point. They never talked to any other people in the city except for Chris, and that is because he was the only person who was nice to them.

"I think the first thing we should do, is help her learn to control them. She needs to before she hurts someone or starts a fire." Chris also had a point. Blaze looked up at Chris before speaking, "when do we start?"

"Right now."
