Jimin's POV

By the time it was lunch I just wanted to go home. I slept through a lot of geography but it just seemed to make me more tired. I went to sit with Jungkook, Seulgi and IU as planned but Taehyung was no where to be seen.

"I asked Tae if he wanted to sit with us, he said he would and he was gonna bring someone, but he's not here..." I mumbled to Jungkook and he raised an eyebrow, "why did you want him to sit with us? And he's probably gonna bring some freak over." He scoffed before turning to talk to Jieun again.

Suddenly I saw Taehyung through the crowds of people across the field, we were sitting under our tree in the corner like earlier.

When he emerged from the other students a boy was following him, who I hadn't met before, I'm pretty sure he's in my history class.

"Jimin!" Tae called and I waved a little, they reached us and sat down, "everyone this is Baekhyun!" He smiled and gestured to the boy I now knew as Baekhyun beside him.

"Nice to meet you." I said and the others all smiled politely, thank god they didn't say anything horrible.

"So Baekhyun, you're in my history right?" I asked as he sat down beside Taehyung who was beside me, "uh, yeah I think so, I've never spoken to you because I'm like super shy and awkward..." he mumbled and I frowned.

"You shouldn't be so uncomfortable, I was like that until Jungkook took the time to help me, we'll all help you, you don't need to worry around me." I said with a grin and he smiled cutely back at me.

"That's what makes you such an amazing person Jimin." Tae smiled and I blushed, I saw Jungkook stop talking to IU and frown slightly, "Jiminie, what are we doing in tutoring today?" He asked and shuffled closer to me.

"Uh, I'm not sure, science?" I asked and he smiled at me, "ok, thank you by the way... I don't actually think I've said thank you yet. Even though it was forced upon me, I'm glad that I became great friends with you out of the experience." He grinned and rubbed my shoulder gently making me blush again.

Seulgi and IU had started their own conversation by the time we'd stopped talking, "whatchu talkin bout?" Jungkook asked and poked Jieun in the side, she giggled before looking over to Baekhyun, "we were wondering if you were new, Baekhyun, I've never seen you before?"

Baekhyun shuffled a bit and looked slightly uncomfortable from that I could tell, "Uh, well, I've always been here, I just never drew attention to myself." He replied quietly and Seulgi shrugged, "fair enough, I just don't understand why you hide for, no normal person, except maybe Jungkook, thinks that they are amazing, but you just make yourself seem like a freak with no friends."

"Hey! That was uncalled for Seulgi." Tae stood up for the boy and I just looked down and twiddled my fingers. I hate confrontation. And the fact that I'm going on a date with her tonight meant I reaaallly didn't want to make things awkward now.

We all just continued chatting until the bell for our last lesson rung...

By the end of the school day I was ready to go home and pass out, but I couldn't. I had a lot planned this afternoon. I had to tutor Jungkook, and I had a date!

I've been trying to make myself excited for the date all day... It hasn't really worked, don't get me wrong I really like Seulgi! She's pretty and funny, she can be a bit rude but I'm pretty sure she's nice... But I don't love her...

"Sooo, ChimChim? What we learning first again?" Jungkook asked as he spun round to walk backwards beside me, "science, probably biology..." I mumbled, the date happening later preoccupied my thoughts...

"Woah, ok, what's gotten you into a mood?" He asked and grabbed my arms to stop me and look me in the eye, "nothing! I'm just... Thinking about the... Date..." I huffed and he grinned, "you nervous?" He asked with a smirk and I nodded slightly.

"Don't be! It'll be fun!" He shouted and started walking beside me again, we reached his house and he brought me up to the study room, he sat in his spinning chair and spun round a few times.

"Why're you so hyper?" I asked giggling and he grinned at me, "I dunno, today's been a good day!" He continued smiling but stopped spinning, "sit." He said and I sat in the chair beside him.

"Teach!" He shouted laughing and I giggled again, "you've got such an adorable laugh you know?" He looked at me as if he was studying my face and I blushed. "Shhhh no I dooonnnt..." I whined and he laughed.

We did science for an hour as planned and Jungkook actually started to understand photosynthesis! When the hour was up I started to get nervous again.

"Hey Jiminie, you want me to come over and help you get ready?" He asked sincerely and I nodded, "please..." we both laughed before I walked him down the road to my house.

"Wait, what about your date?" I asked and he shrugged, "it'll only take me like 20 minutes to get ready so don't worry about it." We walked inside and up to my room before he started looking through all my clothes, he pulled out a grey short sleeved shirt and my ripped black skinny jeans before grabbing my black beanie and throwing it all on the bed.

"The beach is hot this time of year even at night so you won't need a jacket, but wear those trainers." He gestured to my dark grey Nike trainers and I nodded, "ok, I'll get changed." I replied and he sat on my bed, "just get changed here it's fine I won't look if you're uncomfortable." He said in a monotone voice looking through his phone.

I blushed a little bit before facing away from him and taking off my hoodie and shirt, I quickly changed into the other shirt and pulled off my grey jeans. I realised I hadn't grabbed my other jeans yet so I turned back to get them.

As I looked round I'm pretty sure I saw Jungkook move so he was looking at his phone, meaning he wasn't before... I gulped before putting on the rest of my clothes.

Once I was dressed I brushed my hair and put on the beanie, "Jungkook?" I mumbled and he looked up from his phone before grinning, "you look great Jimin!" I blushed again and smiled at him, "thank you..." I whispered before sitting on the bed.

"Well I should go now, make sure to bring money, you'll be buying her stuff, and buy her dinner at that café on the pier!" He said enthusiastically and I panicked, "Jungkook I barely have any money!" I felt like everything was ruined until he grabbed my arms gently.

"Hey, hey, shh, calm down ChimChim, I'll give you some money, I don't need it all it's no trouble, just calm down." He said in a soothing tone.

'ChimChim' definitely sounds better coming from him...

I nodded and looked up at him, "thank you Jungkook." He smiled and went to his wallet in his bag and handed me $75, "Woah Jungkook that's too much!" I said in shock and he laughed, "no it's not, keep it all." I smiled and wrapped my arms around him, he hesitated but hugged back, "thank you so much" I whispered.

We pulled apart and said goodbye before he left and I put the money in my wallet which I then slipped into my pocket before checking my phone.

I went to my messages and texted Seulgi;
hey, if you text me your address I can come pick you up whenever, we'll eat out and I'm paying, just text me when ;) xx

She almost immediately replied

Ok, my address is (address here). I'm almost ready so if you pick me up in about 10 minutes is that ok? I can't wait for our date Jimin-ahhh :D xxx

At least she's not calling me ChimChim

I smiled and put away my phone before getting on my trainers and hopping in my parents car, it was a nice car that they left behind for me to use whenever, I don't usually use it for school but I can drive it so now's the perfect time!

I drove towards Seulgi's address and got there in exactly ten minutes after making a stop on the way, perfect!

I walked up the stairs and took a deep breath before knocking on the door, "I'll get it!" I heard Seulgi's voice shout from inside but another girl opened the door first, she looked like Seulgi but slightly older (I don't know if Seulgi has any siblings I just made one up)

"Hey, you must be Jimin! I'm Seulgi's older sister Sofia! Nice to meet you!" She said with a grin, I smiled and shook her hand, "Sofiaaa!! I told you I'd get it!" I heard Seulgi whine from inside and she came to the door.

She was wearing black skinny jeans with rips at the knees and a flowing striped top, she also had curled her hair and put on really pretty silver jewellery along with beautiful makeup, not too much though which was nice.

"Hey Jimin, sorry about that." She smiled as Sofia left the doorway, "it's fine don't worry, you look amazing." I grinned at her and she blushed, on the way over I had bought a bouquet of flowers and I handed them to her.

"Aww they're so pretty! Thank you!" She smiled and took them inside to put them in water, "cmon, we're going to the pier!" We both smiled and she grabbed my hand as we walked towards my car, maybe this wasn't gonna be so bad after all!
