Betty's POV

I pulled up right behind Noah, he was standing there next to his bike staring at the warehouse in front of him. "It's a trap Lizabeth..." His scratchy tone was discomforting. I sighed as I stood next to him.

"We can't just let him die in there Noah. Archie sort of saved my life when he took the fall for that arson. You know it was me that started that fire. Last year was horrible...but I'm sure you already know that." I looked up at him. He bit his lip taking a deep breath before he spoke.

"Okay...lets go get him." He gave in as it started to pour again. He looked at me with this worry as he pulled out his switch blade. "Ready?" He asked making sure I knew what I was getting into.

"Whatever happens Noah...getting Archie out of there is our main concern. So if it comes down to it...you better leave me. Please Noah." I squeezed his had as he intertwined his fingers tightly with mine.

"Elizabeth Cooper you sure are something. I'll do what you ask but if there's a way I can do both...you bet I will." Noah's sigh was an indication he was giving into me. Or he knew better than to go against me because I'd do it anyway. He was definitely right about that.

"Let's go." I yelled as we ran towards the warehouse doors. I slipped through the opening and kicked it open to get Noah through. "Archie!" I screamed searching the warehouse, it seemed abandoned which wasn't a good sign.

"Andrews!" Noah screamed. But we heard nothing not even an echo. "I have a horrible feeling about this." He walked towards me looking around for cameras or anything to indicate this was a trap.

"Oh my god...Noah it's not a trap it's a decoy. I bet Hiram moved Archie to Greendale already. He's
probably with Penny Peabody. I'm sure you know her pretty well can you find out?" I asked.

"Yeah I'll call her now. Hold on...wait she's already calling me. No wait she's trying to FaceTime. I'm guessing she has him." Noah slide his phone to unlock it as Penny appeared with a bruised and battered Archie on his screen. "Called this one." Noah bit his lip frustrated as I put myself in the frame.

"Were your ears ringing?" I said as I she smiled at me.

"Noah you and Betty...I can't say I don't love this combo. Oh Betty you remind me so much of myself at 17. A ghoulie and a serpent who ever thought we'd see the day that happened. Wonder how the serpent king feels about this?" She laughed.

"He doesn't feel any way...he broke up with me. But anyway that doesn't matter. What matters is what Hiram has on you that you're holding Archie for him." I said.

"He's helping me take over the south side by destroying the core four. Bugheads done onto Varchie. Although Veronica seems to be doing just fine on her own with that. Seeing as she's very "friendly" with Sweet Pea." Archie squirmed in the seat he was taped into.

"It's not true! I love V! Penny you've got nothing on me and you've got nothing on my friends." Archie yelled.

"Quit while your behind Andrews...Hiram told me I could kill you if I want." Penny said. "That is unless the princess wants to come here and negotiate. I like her...Noah." Penny said as he and I looked at each other.

"I'll do it." I said not even giving it a second thought. Noah nodded and hung up the phone before Archie could convince me out of it. When we walked outside the rain had let up and all the Serpents were standing by their bikes.

"Did you find him?" V cried out.

"Yes and no. He wasn't here but we know where he is. And we're going to bring him back. That's all you need to know." I told her as I motioned for Noah to follow me on his bike.

"You two are not going alone!" I heard Jughead yell behind me. I turned around ready to fight but Noah stopped me.

"Lizabeth...that's his best friend. We can't stop him." He reasoned with me. I grunted with defeat as I motioned for him, Toni, Cheryl, Sweet Pea and Veronica to follow behind us. This was most definitely not going to go how I planned.
