Saturday
When Midoriya woke up, he woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
Literally.
“Owwww.”
The green haired boy groaned as he pushed himself from the uncomfortable position he was in.
For some weird reason, his upper half of the body was on the floor while his lower half of the body was on the bed
His legs were twisted in a weird position, one in and one out.
His left hand was twisted with his elbow inverted.
Thankfully, his other hand was simply outstretched above his head.
A shiver traveled down Midoriya’s spine as he stretched himself, wincing when he heard a satisfying crack from his elbow.
That felt… surprisingly better.
Grabbing blindly for his phone by the bed table, he winced at the sudden brightness of his phone in the dark, cold room.
Cold?
Midoriya groaned when he realized what exactly had happened last night.
A thunderstorm had struck last night, and the electricity supply had been cut off, because Kaminari had frightened himself while he was studying late into the night.
Midoriya had to calm the blonde teen down, deal with a bunch of sleepyheads who were annoyed at the sudden cut of electricity.
Which also means the heaters weren’t working.
It then resulted in a quarter of his dorm mates piling into Todoroki’s room, hoping to get some warmth from the deadpanned teen.
This greatly affected Kaminari, who now broke down, thinking that everyone would start to hate him.
Midoriya sighed, and after much comfort and reassurement, he finally got the blonde to sleep. Ruffling the blonde’s soft hair, he made sure the mitten headphones was fitted tightly, but not too tight, against the blonde’s ears.
Then, he went to fix the power trip.
At 2am.

Once, the power supply was back up, he had to check up on every room, turning on the heater for them, including the rooms where his roommates were still sleeping without a care.
He had to.
He couldn’t risk having them catch a cold the next morning after all.
After he turned on the heaters, he had to go to Todoroki’s room, and gently shake each of the sleeping dormates that clearly should not be in Todoroki’s room.
What was worse was Ochako Uraraka.
Midoriya sighed as he struggled to reach Uraraka, who had floated to the ceiling. Then, he had to literally pull the floating sleeping figure back into her room while making sure she didn’t smash into any ceilings before tucking her in. Only after ensuring she would stop floating and start sleeping properly, he could finally leave.
The second worst was Momo Yaoyorozu.
He had to carry her in her arms, bridal style, back to her room.
He tried to wake the black haired girl up, but it didn’t work.
Midoriya rubbed his swollen arms. He knew it was rude, but Yaoyorozu… was heavy.
After he had successfully escorted all of the sleepyheads back to their own rooms, he had to check up on Todoroki.
Why?
Because he knew Todoroki wouldn’t remember what happened in the middle of the night.
And he would rather deal with an angry Kaachan than a confused Todoroki, who might start questioning everyone who had been into his room and messed his room up.
And once he found out who the perpetrators were, he was quite confident Todoroki was going to ask them to a duel and get revenge by freezing them in ice.
So Midoriya, at 3.30am in the morning, quietly cleaned up Todoroki’s room and tucked the half hot, half cold boy back to sleep with a forehead kiss.
No, it’s not what you’re thinking.
It just so happens that Todoroki was the type to fall asleep better when he receives warmth and comfort, something he lacked in his childhood.
Well, why did Midoriya have to comfort the white-red haired boy then?
Because Todoroki’s quirk was still activated, raising the temperature in the room every second.
And by offering comfort, would Todoroki start calming down, and stop using his quirk.
Midoriya’s body now drenched in sweat, as he stood in the middle of the room for around 10 minutes, waiting for the room to cool down, before he could turn on the heater.
By the time he had left Todorki’s room, it was 4am.
4am in the morning.
Homeroom would start at 8.45am, and his dormates would start waking up by around 7 to 8 am. The earliest would be Tenya, and judging by how he didn’t wake up at all during the power outage, Tenya’s body clock would get him up by 7am on the dot.
It is a Saturday.
But in U.A. High School, as it turns out, the only free day you get is Sunday.
The thunderstorm was still raging. Midoriya noted as he opened one of the curtains, watching the trees bending almost parallel to the ground.
Midoriya looked up at the darkened clouds looming over the sky. Based on experience, the storm will clear by 6.30am sharp.
Then, the weather wouldn’t be so cold, and the sun would be out by then.
That’s good. I don’t need to have another sneezing incident.
As unfortunate as it is, his childhood friend, Kaachan, when sneezed, will ignite an explosion from his hand.
It has only happened once or twice so far, when his mother accidentally tickled his nose with a feather.
Luckily, Kaachan has a strong immune system, so he doesn’t fall sick easily.
But Midoriya wouldn’t risk it.
After checking every room again to ensure everyone was asleep, tucked into their own comfortable beds, Midoriya then brought himself back into his own room.
Grabbing his phone, he set 5 five alarms at 6am, 6.05am, 6.10am, 6.15am and 6.20am.
He didn’t want to risk oversleeping.
4.48am.
He’ll get at most an hour of sleep, which is fine. He’s done a few days without sleep before, and it wasn’t just a one time thing. It was a couple of times when he got too hooked on researching pro heroes.
So, if you offer this kid right here an hour of sleep, he would deem it as just right.
Midoriya sighed, sitting on his bed, leaning against the wall.
There was a bad feeling in his gut.
Midoriya ignored it, falling asleep while sitting up against the wall.
And now, back to the present, Midoriya wondered how he even went from that sleeping position to this sleeping position.
Judging by the mist formed as he breathed, he probably forgot to turn on the heater again.
It was fine, he slept before with the heater off, when again, he was too hooked on his research to realize.
5.49am.
The phone read.
Midoriya switched off his future alarms, before charging his phone.
Well, he’ll just have to take a quick shower, and start preparing for the day for both him, and his friends.
By the time he had finished his morning routine, he started to clean up the dorms, in preparation for tomorrow. They have a schedule to follow, yes but Midoriya knows how crazy they’ll get once their day off starts.
Unfortunately, this week is Mineta’s turn along with a few other boys (cuz no he can’t be paired up with girls) to clean up the dorms, but god, Midoriya bet they probably have never touched a broom in their whole life.
After he was done, it was about 6.30 sharp, just about time for the thunderstorm to stop.
As he predicted, the storm was gone, and the cold morning air occupied its place.
Heading into Kaminari’s room, he gently removed his mitten headphones from Kaminari, and kept them back in his own room.
Lida would be up soon.
Midoriya heads into the kitchen, preparing 19 cups of hot chocolate(using his secret recipe) and two cups(take away) of his own special mixed coffee.
He did a few trips from the kitchen and back to the coffee table by the TV and placed the 19 cups of hot chocolate with a quick note at the side - ‘one cup 4 each person there’s more in the jug in the kitchen if u want’
He then placed the temperature regulator in the middle of the coffee table, setting it to emit heat at about 90 degree celsius for the next 30 minutes.
By now, it was about to reach 7.20am already.
Where is Lida?
“Midoriya, it’s nice to see you up so early. Is that hot chocolate that you have prepared?”
“Oh, Lida, I was wondering when you would appear. I’ve made hot chocolate for the class, could you help me ensure they get a cup each? I have to go somewhere.”
“Alright, don’t be late for homeroom, Midoriya.”
“Thanks Lida.” Grabbing the 2 cups of coffee, he headed out of the dorms towards the teacher’s living area, specifically Aizawa-sensei’s room.
“Sensei?”
The door opened, revealing Aizawa sensei in baggy clothing, his hair down in a low ponytail.
“What are you doing here, problem child?”
“Coffee? The weather’s been pretty cold.”
Midoriya smiled, handing over the still piping hot coffee.
“Thanks. Now, get back to your dorms, and make sure everyone is awake and not late.”
Midoriya chuckled, “yes sensei.”
Today feels like a good day.

Not.
I take back everything I ever said this morning.
“Midoriya! I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to.”
“No, it’s fine, Uraraka. I have an extra set of uniform in my lockers to change to. You don’t have to worry. It’s not your fault that you got surprised and accidentally used your quirk.”
“But-but that means I don’t have control-.”
“Uraraka. It’s fine. You were just surprised.” Midoriya smiled, calming the brown haired girl before she started self-deprecating.
“It was just a mistake. No one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes. So, don’t say you don’t have control, alright?”
“A-Alright.”
“Good.” Midoriya smiled, before leaving Uraraka in his friend's hands.
I don’t have much time before the next lesson starts. Well, I guess I’m lucky it didn’t spill on my head, and only from my chest downwards.
I’ll do a quick wash-up then.

“Hey damn nerd, why the fuck do you smell like soup?”
“O-Oh, t-that? I a-accidentally spilled soup o-over myself.”
“Tch, you fucking clutz, you can’t even drink your shitty soup properly.”
