Quick heads up this is about Yuri!!! On Ice so if you haven't seen it, go watch it.

Okay okay okay I'm pretty sure you think this is about shipping Victor and Yurio but it's not, okay?!

Anyway, I was looking at Yuri!!! On Ice stuff cause I was once again procrastinating (much like yesterday)but my mind decided to birth a wonderful idea.

Okay, so throughout the show we never really see a parent in Yurio's life. Like, it shows his grandfather, but when you stop to think of it, there is never a real Mr. or Mrs. Plisetsky. Heck, the kid is only 15 years old and traveled to Japan from Russia, so it's not like there are any strict parental constraints on him.

Furthermore, the show never shows a mother or father transporting him, picking him up, or even attending any of his competitions. In fact, he doesn't even live with them- he lives with Yakov and Minako (Edit: Wrong person you idiot. Check your facts for once hm?) (his  coach and ballet instructor). So, what if- sad thought approaching- he doesn't have parents? Maybe they died in an accident or something, but it is possible that he has no parents.

Legally, he is still a minor.

So, say that Victor and Yuri marry the year after the events of YOI. And say they want a kid.

You know where I'm going, right?

All though Yurio is a teenager, he is still legally a minor and we are assuming here that he is parentless. An orphan.

Technically, Victor and Yuri could adopt him.

This is literally my new favorite thought. Like seriously, Yuri and Victor are always joked to be "proud parents" of Yurio, but there is a possibility for them to legitimately become his parents.

Excuse me as I fangirl  over my new favorite thing ever.
