Anyways, I have had a thought of a wonderful question for quite some time my dear, um, friends? Readers? Corpses? Homicidal maniacs?

Whatever pick your favorite and get on with reading.

So, I set out to answer the question of which singer moans for longer in a song: Gerard Way or Robert Plant?

In case you didn't know, Robert Plant was the lead singer of Led Zeppelin and Gerard Way was the lead  si-

So anyways, I used Destroya for Gerard Way, the song which is known for it's HEAVENLY moaning sequences and for Robert Plant I used Whole Lotta Love followed by Dazed and Confused from Led Zeppelin, two of their many songs with moaning. These two are well known for their memorable sequences of moaning.

So then I painstakingly listened to every song, pausing and rewinding, and turning the volume up if I couldn't tell exactly where the moan in question ended. After all this, I totaled up every second in each song that contained a moan.

The result was exactly 26 seconds of moaning in Destroya and exactly 26 seconds of moaning in Whole Lotta Love.

Obviously, I needed a tie breaker, and to my knowledge there is any song by MCR in which Gerard Way moans more than he does in Destroya. If anyone reading knows of another that may rival the 26 seconds of moaning in Destroya, please notify me so that I can correct my possibly incorrect data.

When I looked up Led Zeppelin songs with moaning, the two most popular replies were Whole Lotta Love and Dazed and Confused, so I decided to use the latter as the tie breaker.  After more painstaking second counting and subtraction and addition, I finally reached the conclusion of the song.

I did one final check of my math and was astonished. The moaning totaled up to 2 minutes and 36 seconds.

I  still am surprised as I write this. One of the many moans in the song was nearly twenty seconds long itself.

The conclusion is that Robert Plant has moaned for longer, with a current total of 2:36 of moaning in a single song. Observe the breakdown of the moaning that I have detailed below for your reading pleasure and for further comprehension of the extent of moaning.

So there you have it my dear homicidal maniacs/corpses/friends/readers. Robert Plant has moaned for longer in a single song than Gerard Way.
