Okay, so here's the deal.
Do any of you actually follow me for my stories? Or is it all cause of Flip My Switch?
Not that I'm complaining, I just have a feeling that nobody cares.
Anyway, here's the deal with my other stories.
I know that I'm probably not going to finish all of the ones I abandoned. I can tell you right away that the Tokyo Ghoul One Shots won't be touched again, and that the music book, the BillDip oneshot (that everyone keeps telling me to continue although I made it very clear that the story was a joke and there would be no more additions), and the dream journal (because I literally don't dream when I sleep anymore) are done. I'm gonna change all of their statuses to complete, save maybe the dream one. I'm holding onto hope that I'll start dreaming again.
The issue is that that leaves Never Forgotten, Until the Dawn Arrives, The Doll Maker, and Hold to Reset, along with a Mettaton x Reader one shot/lemon book and a Mettaton x Reader called A Lot More Me on my second account, averageteenagemess
Yes I'm still promoting it I know that a good amount of Mettaton fans follow me and I'm really proud of the x Reader I've started over there.
I realistically won't be able to focus on all of those this year. I'm taking way more AP classes than I should be, dealing with mental health (on my own now cause my therapist left and there aren't a lot of others on the insurance plan) and I have a job. That, on top of the fall drama (fingers crossed I'll get in) and all my other typical extracurriculars, means that the time I have for writing will be very limited.
So what does this mean? Well, I'm going to drop focus from a good portion of these stories. A Lot More Me will be staying, because I've been working on it for a while. The MTT oneshot book won't pose much of an issue, as I'm running it exclusively off of requests, so I'm not gonna even worry about that. In addition to the prior stories listed, I've been working on two original stories on and off. What I'm gonna do is list all of the ones on the chopping block here and say the unique issues that each present. You can help me decide, if you like.
Hold to Reset
I'm still not totally comfortable with the premise of the story, even though my cousin and a friend of mine have reassured me that it's good. I really want to keep going so I don't let down everyone that liked Flip My Switch, but I'm really scared to write the sequel.
The Doll Maker
Honestly, my cousin wont let me drop this one, probably. We've been focusing more on gay sex and making them in the sims than actually writing the story anyway. (And I keep forgetting to post all the edited chapters oof)
Until the Dawn Arrives
I had really big things planned for this story, and I'd like to pick it up to see them come to fruition. Unfortunately, I spent so long away from it, and I started drifting from writing the sci-fi and horror genre. I don't know if I could write that aspect of it as well as I did when I was really focused on writing frightening and edgy things.
Never Forgotten
Lot to work through with this one. I planned on keeping it short, and it was already nearing the end that I had foreseen when I started. Unfortunately, the Sleepy Hollow fandom kinda died after Abbie did, and the show was cancelled a while ago. Additionally, a pretty important part of the story is encoded. That wouldn't be so much of an issue if I hadn't done that two years ago and completely forgot what cipher I used. So yeah.
If you aren't particularly interested in any of these, I'll leave quick summaries and titles of the other two stories I'm working on
You Suck
Gail is a freshman this year, and she can already tell high school is going to be as awful and unbearably lonely as middle school, especially after her friends had gone. Michael is optimistic for high school. He's heard it's when you break free and become independent, finding who you are. He's ready, painfully ready to become who he is. The only issue is that he doesn't think anyone is ready to accept who that is. He isn't a girl and his name isn't Giulia, contrary to popular belief (and what his appearance tells them). Neither knows the other exists, until algebra, loose leaf, and some snarky comments bring them together, for better or for worse.
Maggie
She couldn't have done it. There was no way. Maggie, sweet, beautiful, Maggie could never have done this to herself. I don't get it. Wasn't I supposed to be the broken one? My angel couldn't have killed herself, she wouldn't. It should have been me.
Jesse had seen the light for the first time when they met Maggie. She was their guardian angel, sent to protect them, to bring them feeling again. But when Maggie is found dead in her room from an overdose, Jesse's world is turned on its head all over again. They're thrown back into hell worse than the one they'd been dealing with all these years, and they don't know if they can recover this time. Jesse doesn't think it matters anymore. Nothing matters, except one question. Why?
So yeah, that's all that. Please let me know which ones you'd like to see me focus on, whether prior stories or one of the new ideas. Thank y'all so much for supporting me thus far.
See ya, my lovely corpses!
