Blade didn't leave unarmed. She packed a bag with cloths and provisions for her travels. She even took a knife so she could defend herself if needed. It was a last resort sort of thing. She knew they weren't allowed in the basement without her Red or Classic being there. That was where the machine was and Muave had already accidently sent himself to Underswap once. He'd scared the crap out of Blue and his children Euphro and Glitches. It'd only excited the overenthusiastic Dreamberry child and the only real danger had been the Kustard couple taking in a forth child, which Dream and Blue would not allow. Glitches had watched with slight fascination as glitchy red, blue, and yellow tentacles squirmed around. Thus the three weren't allowed down there alone. It wasn't stopping Blade though. She HAD to meet her real parents, she NEEDED answers. So, she was breaking the rules. Blade wasn't exactly sure where to begin. She'd never worked with the AU machine before, she was new to this au hopping. Pressing the big green button was as good a start as any. She didn't have to do anything after that. A portal opened to the last place the machine had been set to and she walked through, beginning her journey.

She left the basement of the new au to see where she ended up. Red always said that every au was different, to look for those subtle (or not so subtle) differences. First she checked to see if it was a murder au. "well... i already failed... not a speck of dust in the snow. She immediately turned around to go down and try again. Upon reentering the lab though, a familiar young skeleton, maybe a year or two older than her, stared at the machine and adjusted some knobs on it with glitched out and colorful tentacles. "glitches..?" The skeleton turned around and tilted her head. "i-i kn-o-o-ow yo-u. y-you are b-bl-la-ad-de, co-or-or-orrec-t?" Blade nodded. "mmhm. what are you doing down here?" Blade asked. "i cou-ld as-sk the s-sa-me... but i-i al-lr-read-dy kno-w-w the a-answ-swer to th-at. the s-sa-ame re-reas-son i am. t-to fi-in-nd your r-r-real par-rents." Blade should have suspected as much. Both Glitches and Blade knew that Dream was Glitches uncle, though he never spoke often of Glitches dad. She supposed that Glitches was getting tired of waiting and was seeking answers, just as she was.

"then i propose an alliance." Glitches tilted her head. "i-m list-st-st-ening." Blade smiled determinedly. "let's work together to find our parents and keep each other out of trouble." She held her hand out. Glitches didn't really care. "i-i hold sen-ior-rity though." She shrugged. "deal." The duo shook hands on it. "so.. you know what your doing with this..?" Blade asked. "s-som-ewh-at." Glitches replied simply. "well then.... it's better than not at all." Glitches pressed the button and a new portal opened. "let's go." Blade nodded, stepping through.
