(3 Days After the Incident)

At Professor Agasa's residents, the Detective Boys and Conan, sat around in the lounge getting prepared to go somewhere.

The professor walked in and saw the young children ~ and shrunken 16-17 year old ~ in his lounge looking at something.

"What are you all looking at?" He questioned them

"Where looking in Kaitlyn's Bag" The now completely healed Ayumi explained

"Huh? Oh! You mean the teen you met in the park and the one who save you Ayumi-chan." The Professor remembered

"Yeah! He left his Bag and jacket behind, so where looking inside for any clues to where he is, and return it back to him." Mitsuhiko explained

"What have you found out?" Agasa asked

It was now Conan's time to explain "What we have gathered so far, is that, He goes to Ekoda High, judging by his jacket, but the problem is..."

"It's now the weekends, so you can't find him at the school. What a shame" he finished for Conan

"Yes, but inside the bag we found, some of his school books, stationary, a broken pocket-watch, some equipment for magic tricks and his Art book. Which just so happens to have his home address inside, my guess is that if he ever lost his art book, whoever finds it can return it." Conan finished and showed Agasa the art book and the address inside.

"Do you want me to drop you all off?" He asked them

"No, it's okay Professor, we'll walk there" Mitsuhiko told him

"Ayumi can't wait to see Kaitlyn and thank him for saving Ayumi's life!" Ayumi cheered

"We all have to thank him, what he did was awesome!" Genta started to get excited as well

"Come on everyone, we better get going" Conan announced

They nodded in agreement and got up, ready to go. They said there farewells to Agasa and left his home.

After there searching, they found the house they were looking for. They stood at the front gate and was just about ready to enter, before they heard a huge commotion coming from next door.

"WHAT!!! I DON'T HAVE A CRUSH ON KAITO!!!" a loud females voice yelled

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, You sure about that Aoko, you red face says other wise" Another voice could be heard and the gang recognised it.

CRASH! BAM! SLAM!

Large crashing sounds could be heard next door before the front door of the house opened, revelling the exact person they ~ the detective boys and Conan ~ were looking for.

'Kaitlyn!' They all thought

When Kaitlyn ran out the door of the Nakamori residence, she headed for the Kuroba residence ~ still running ~ until she caught sight of the Detective Boys and stopped.

"Huh? Hey guys!" Kaitlyn said cheerfully to them, until she got hit on the head from behind, by a mop.

She went crashing down unconscious. The detective boys were surprised by the action and looked to who ever did that. When they looked they saw Ran, but something about her seemed off.

"Ran-nēchan! What are you doing here?" Conan asked her

Aoko looked to the 4 children with a face of confusion

"I'm sorry but my names not Ran, I'm Aoko Nakamori" Aoko clarified " wait I know you, You the KID Killer, Conan Edogawa right, it so nice to meet you!" She said excitedly

"Nakamori? Wait, are you Inspector Nakamori's Daughter" Conan asked, realisation finally hitting him

"Yes I am, why don't you all come over to my house, I'll make snacks for you all" Aoko sweetly said to them as they gladly agreed and followed her ~ along with Kaitlyn who Aoko was dragging on the way.

"Wait so your saying that Kaitlyn has been sleeping for the past 2 days!" The trio exclaimed once Aoko had told them

"Kaito found Kaitlyn, then brought her home and told her to rest, but what we didn't expect was for her to be unconscious for 2 days straight, we tried everything to wake her up, but she wouldn't. We got concerned until she woke up yesterday and everything was fine" She explained

"Aoko-san I think you got it wrong because you kept calling Kaitlyn a 'her'" Conan clarified

Aoko giggled "I'm guessing she didn't tell you, Kaitlyn is a girl everyone"

"WHAAAAAAAAATTTT!!!!!!!" They yelled and woke Kaitlyn up ~ she's been on the couch unconscious the whole time

BAM!

Kaitlyn fell off the couch, hitting the ground "Ow... what's with all the yelling" she said then opened her eyes to see the Detective Boys "what the? What are you guys doing here?"

The group looked to the person they now figure out was a 'she'. They all stood up from there seats and walked towards her.

"Thank you!" They all said, then Ayumi ran to hugged her

"Thank you so much for saving me!"

Kaitlyn shocked by the sudden contact, but soon smiled to the little girl hugging her

"It was my pleasure Ayumi" she raffled the small girls hair playful

"So you guys came here to find me and thank me?" Kaitlyn summarised what the Detective boys had told her

They were all now sitting in the sitting room talking, while Aoko was in the kitchen making snacks ~ but also listening in on there conversation.

"No, we also came to return your jacket and bag to you" Conan explained, then Genta handed the bag as Ayumi handed the jacket to her

"Wow, Thank a lot guys! I completely forgot about it" she said then laughed "wow, you even washed my jacket too, you guys are awesome" the praises she gave made them blush

"It was no big deal" Mitsuhiko said, but still happy

"Yeah! After all it was the least we could do, since you saved Ayumi" explained Genta happily

Kaitlyn happily smiled back to them as she took a look inside the bag and found what she was looking for. She held in her hand the broken pocket-watch.

"Neh, Kaitlyn why do you have a broken pocket-watch?" Conan asked her

"Oh, this thing, it's something to remember my family, here I'll just show you" she opened the pocket-watch and showed them the family picture inside ~ along side the clock face, which hands didn't move.

"This is my family, my Mum and Dad, and my two older siblings." Kaitlyn explained to them and pointing out each of them

"Wow, you all look really similar!" Ayumi exclaimed childishly

"Yeah, Yeah, but are you sure that's a boy he looks like a girl?" Genta said pointing at Kaitlyn's brother in the picture

"I know right! People would always get mixed up on who was the boy and who was the girl between us at that time, but then he cut his hair and finally looked like a real boy back then" Kaitlyn exclaimed fondly at the memory

The group nodded and laughed at her explanation, but Conan he was in deep thought

'What did she mean by "back then"? And from the look of the watch, it's in good condition but also seems ancient? Like hundreds of years old?'

"Kaitlyn where is your family?" Conan asked bluntly, then noticed how she flinched and a look of longing was seen in her eyes for just a split second.

"Oh, their at home in New Zealand" she answered him

"So why are you here in Japan then?" He asked innocently like the child he looked to be

"Well..." She said sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head

"She got into some trouble and was brought here" Aoko said coming back with a tray of snacks

"What kind of trouble Aoko-san?" He asked interested

"Like her Baka of a Cousin, she does magic tricks to prank people" she explained

"Yeah, that's because I'm a great artist, people just don't seem to see it" Kaitlyn said pouting

Conan blinked at the words she used 'was it just a coincidence? She used the same words KID used to describe themselves'

"How is is pranking an art, hmm?" Aoko raised a brow at her

"Art is in many shapes and forms, you only need to have a wide imagination to see it. Plus magic tricks are just one of things I like to do, drawing is the most common one." Kaitlyn explained

"But why is drawing your most common one?" Mitsuhiko asked

"Because... hm? I guess it's because I've always been drawing, and it's just a part of who I am." She explained simply

Then they all started to talk some more and the detective boys explained how they first met Kaitlyn and the burning building. Aoko got concerned and angry at Kaitlyn for doing something so reckless, but let her off easy since she survived and saved a life. They put the T.V. On and the news showed up

(News Report)

Breaking news, Jirokichi Suzuki has challenged Kaitou KID once again.

And just moments ago KID sent an Advance Notice, it states

In the highest peak of the full moon
I shall come and steal another priceless jewel 'The Moonlights Star' from Jirokichi Suzuki

And now we shall see what Jirokichi Suzuki has to say

(Which scene)

"HAHAHAHA, JUST YOU WATCH KID! I HAVE A FOOL PROOF PLAN TO CAPTURE YOU THIS TIME! JUST YOU WAIT AND SEE!" He yelled at the camera

"Please sir tell us about the jewel KID plans to steal?" The report said after getting over his now half deaf ears

"The Moonlights Star is a beautiful jewel I acquired in Greece, it is a large Sapphire said to have some magical properties in legends"

"Like what sir?" The reporter asked

"In legend, it stats that in the hands of it's 'true' owner, a flame would glow in the core of the jewel when shined in the moonlight. It is said that the flame held such a magnificent glow, that of a Star. So thus the name, Moonlights Star" he explained

"But there is no need to worry because I will stop that Thief, for I, Jirokichi Suzuki have gathered the best, to help" he announced

"And who would that be sir?"

The old man smirked "The London Detective, Saguru Hakuba. The Detective of the West, Heiji Hattori and of course my KID killer, Conan Edogawa" he proudly stated and laughed

(Switch Scene)

Kaitlyn and other occupants were shocked by the news and instantly preoccupied themselves in conversations on Kaitou KID. As for Kaitlyn she was dumbfounded

"Wait Conan your Famous!" Kaitlyn exclaimed

"Yeah, Conan is a detective who has always been able to stop KID in stealing the Jewel" Mitsuhiko said

"And because of that, he was given the title KID Killer" Genta finished

"Pft... more like because Conan probably kills KID's buzz, because he a killer buzz" Kaitlyn laughed at her play of words, while Conan glared at her "sorry it's a force of habit, I couldn't resist" Kaitlyn defended herself

'But I wonder how kaito is going to handle three detectives and an entire police force. If he gets into any serious trouble I'll be sure to help out if needed' she thought to herself, determined to help the guy who she thought of as family.
