Aarav was removing my shirt slowly with moist eyes. He could clearly see his brother’s cruelty on me. My back was badly wounded and my neck was badly bitten by him. He lightly touched my wounds and caressed them. I closed my eyes with pain. He hugged me from back and tears were rolling down his eyes. He said nothing but his tears could tell his emotions. We were silent as we didn’t need words to express our feelings. He left me and came front of me. He sat on his knees and hung his head down. I had tears.

“I am sorry. I couldn't protect you. He was torturing you and I was unaware. I am not a good husband. Sorry Angel, I failed to complete the vows i promised.” He joined his hands. He was in guilt.I could read his eyes, the unsaid words by him. I bent down to match his level. I held his hand.

“It’s not your fault. “ I said while looking at him. He wiped my tears.

“Aarav please I can’t tolerate that Sachin anymore. He is a cruel man. He has no mercy. Yesterday He had beaten me badly.  I tried to protest but he beat me. In your absence he touched me everytime everywhere. I hate myself. I can still feel his touch. It’s disgusting but still I feel his hands on me. See what he did? “ I said while showing my other wounds.He was looking at me in shock. I could see tinge of pain on his face. He hugged me tight and started comforting me.

“Ab tak usne jo karna tha kar liya but ab uska saya bhi tumhare aas paas nahi ayega. “ He said while smearing my head I was sobbing. He lifted me up in his arms. I was looking at him.He made me lay in bed.He placed pillow under my head amd covered me with blanket. He kissed me forehead and turned to move. I held his hand and stopped him.

“Mat jao.” I said with fear in my eyes.

He smiled lightly but felt bad to see me shivering.”Bas ek call karna hai. I assure you He will not harm you anymore. “ He said and moved to balcony. He dialed a number.

“Come immediately. “ He said.

“No,I don't wanna listen anything .You are coming right now. “ He said angrily.

“Flight!  I'll send my friend’s chauffeur to pick you up. Pack your bags. “ He said and cut the call. He sighed and came towards me.

I was sitting while holding my head. My vision became blurry. Head was spinning. I really need water. I tried to pick the glass but I couldn’t hold that. Glass fell on floor. I trembled with loud noise. Aarav came running towards me and held me.

“Kya chahiye? “ He asked.

“Water. “ I replied. He gave me a glass of water. I drank it in one go.

“Aarav I am hungry.I haven't eaten anything since last two days “ I spoke in low tone and teary voice. He shut his eyes to hold his tears. He felt bad for me. He shouted for staff. But No One had come.

“He sent them on leave. “ I said.He shook his head in anger.He dialed a number and ordered food. He sat beside me. I kept my head on his shoulder. He held my hand.

“Angel Sachin ko punishment milegi. You don’t worry. He has to pay for his deeds. I always treated him like a real brother and he hates me.Angel mujhe usse kabhi koi. problem nahi thi.He is my half brother.How could he even do that. He targeted you. “ Aarav was really hurt with his behavior.

“It’s all because of me. You suffered a lot just because of me. And I didn't  trust you. I slapped you. “ Aarav said while covering his face with his palms .

I had teary eyes. I held his hands. “It was not your fault.He is bad, he does not deserve your love and respect. Don’t blame yourself Aarav. “ I said while kissing his tears. He took me in his warm embrace. He could feel my trembling body in his arms.

“It’s me Angel.No need to scare of him now. I am here with you. I won't leave you even for a second. “ He said while tightening his grip around me.I felt secure in his warm embrace. I kept my head on his chest. He was smearing my back. I flinched with pain. He made me separated but I again pulled him in hug. We remained in same warm and soothing hug for long time. Our trance was broken by the doorbell.

“Food is here. “He said and moved out of room. I ran to door and locked it from inside. I was scared of Sachin.I didn’t want to see his face even. After minutes there was a knock at door.

“Who’s there? “ I asked with trembling voice.

“It’s me Aarav. “ Aarav replied. I opened the door.He walked in.He kept the food packets on table. I ran to hug him. He too hugged me back.

He separated from hug.“Wifey. Have some food.”He forwarded food plate towards me.

I grabbed the plate and started to eat.

He was sitting opposite to me. I gave him a look. He smiled simply. After having food I moved to balcony and stood there while. placing my hands on railing. He too came there and stood just behind me. He wrapped his arms around me. I closed my eyes.

Sooni khaali raatein rukhi feekhi baatein
Har aahat pe chaukun tujhko harsu dekhu
Tujhko hardam sochu, tujhko har pal chaahu
Tere bin toh jeevan mera hai intezaar

He made me turn.He lifted me in his arms and took inside.He made me lye on bed.He took out first aid box from side drawer and sighed. He started to apply ointment on my back. I flinched in pain and was trembling badly. He lightly kissed on my back and blow air on the wounds. Tears were rolling down  my eyes. He too was on urge of crying.

He made me lay in bed and started smearing my head.I was looking at him. He gave a kiss on my forehead.I smiled. He made my eyes closed.I kept my head in his lap and held his hand tightly. I slept in his warm embrace . He was looking at me with moist eyes.

He made me lay in comfort position and kept my head on pillow. He too moved out of room.Day passed in blur. It was evening. I was sitting on bed while hugging myself whereas Aarav was pacing in room restlessly. I was lost somewhere. Meantime someone entered inside the room. I shivered with a thought of Sachin but it was not him. A girl around 30 years of age was there. Aarav moved to her and held her hands.

“Thank god you are here. Please do her check up.”He said while pointing towards me.

“Aarav she is your wife na. Then what’s the matter? “ She asked

“Please don't ask anything. Just do as I say. “ He said.

“But Aarav. “ I said while trembling and crumbling bedsheet with feet.He came to me and held my hands.

“Do you trust me? “ He looked into my eyes. I simply nodded.

“Then let her do her job. “ He said. I nodded.Aarav signalled her. She came towards me and sent Aarav out. She touched my forehead but I screamed in fear.

“Please don't do! ” I shouted.

“Relax! nothing is gonna happen .”She assured me. She did my check up and shocked to see marks of torture. She gave an believable look. She bandaged my wounds and injected medicine into me. She shouted for Aarav.He came inside while running.

“Are you an inhuman?  What you did with her?”She asked angrily. Aarav just sighed.
