"Hey." I turned and smiled as Leonard walked into our room.

"Hi, have fun with the boys?" I asked as he sat on the bed.

"I shot a man's gun out of his hand. Other than that I didn't have fun." He teased and I smiled shaking my head. "What were you and Rip up to?"

"Trying to find a way to keep the Hunters away as long as we can." I told him and he sighed.

"Are you okay?" He asked as I stood from the chair and walked over to him, straddling him.

"Do you mean do I trust my magic? Then I don't know. I feel like I can do this, but I'm scared I'll lose control." I told him honestly. He brushed some of my hair back before kissing me softly. I kissed him back and he began to lay down, pulling me down with him. I smiled as he gripped my hips, holding me in place.

"Nica, you can do it. Trust in yourself. Trust in your father...in my love for you." He said and I blushed before kissing him again. Only Oliver and Ra's ever had that much belief in me.

"I love you Leonard Snart."

"And I you, Veronica Melody or is it Al-Ghul?" I smiled shaking my head no. "Really?"

"Father wanted me to never take the Al-Ghul name for protection. He believed that I would be in danger from his enemies." I said smiling. I loved it when Leonard wanted to learn more about me. Because of my time with Barry I knew about Leonard, plus my own research. There wasn't much hidden and the stuff that was he told me during our nights.

I kept quiet about Ra's unless asked because I wanted the person to truly know how I felt if I ever talked about him.

"Why don't you ever tell me about him before bed?" Leonard asked and I giggled. "What?"

"I was just thinking about why I never mention my father unless you ask. The reason is I could go on and on about him. Ever since I first went to Nanda Parbat, I got to know a side no one ever saw of him. Not even his own children, my sisters."

"More than one? You told me about Nyssa."

"There is also Talia. He also had two other children but they both died long ago. Talia is the oldest and resides in Gotham, Nyssa stays in Nanda Parbat. It is by force though now." I sighed sitting up and still on his lap.

"Knock knock." I groaned and got off of Leonard as Mick came in. "I went to your room, you...ah moved in here?" Mick asked walking into the room.

"Yeah I sleep in here with Nica." Leonard said sitting up. "What do you want Mick?"

"We're about to head back out. Found the Stillwater Gang. You comin birdie?" Mick asked turning to me.

"I've got research to do so you boys have fun." I told him smiling.

"Research for what?"

"Let's go Mick." Leonard said standing up and walking over to me. "Be safe, remember what I said."

"I will. I love you and you better come back to me." I told him sincerely.

"Of course and I love you my mystic." He whispered and I smiled softly. With a soft kiss and a nod from Mick they both left and I sighed.

"Please protect them father." I whispered holding the amulet in my hand.

Leonard's POV

I sighed as we mounted the horses. Rip was staying behind as was Veronica.

"So what all did I miss? Moving into her room. Getting to the I love you stage. Any fights?" Mick asked as we rode behind the others.

"Small ones. Thanks to you I met her father. I got approval from the two most important people in her life." I told him not caring if he knew or not.

"Getting soft on me Snart?"

"Only for her and so are you Mick." I hissed and he smirked.

"She is something huh....Time Masters are scared of her. I found out if she didn't go on this journey with us, she goes missing in 2024 along with Flash." Mick said and I sighed. I knew all about that.

"I know, she doesn't care." I scoffed. Although I was curious about why she wasn't and I didn't push it.

"According to the Time Masters she would become Ra's Al-Ghul and lead the League of Assassins into their brightest future ever." I shook my head at Mick trying to get into my head. "She would live up to her father, apparently her birthright."

"What are you getting at Mick? That by being with me she will never live up to her potential? If so stop." I told him and he smirked before riding ahead. I shook my head and sighed.

"I wouldn't listen to your friend." Jonah Hex said.

"And why is that?" I asked rolling my eyes.

"This girl loves you. I could tell in the bar. She wanted to help." I scoffed and he nodded his hat before going quiet.

Sometimes I wondered how I got so lucky to have Veronica fall for me. Despite our early meetings she fell for me.

Veronica's POV

"YES!" I yelled and jumped up and down on the bridge.

"Did you do it?" Rip asked and I smirked.

"I bought us about four hours. They were almost here when I sent out the mock loop. I felt it working. There is three of them."

"Four hours is better than none. Thank you Veronica." I smiled and nodded.

"The team is back sir." Gideon said and Rip sighed.

"Rip I doubt they caused any more damage. Relax." I told him and he nodded.

"Captain it appears the team brought a man back with them and they have him in the med bay."

"Seriously?" I asked groaning.

"I guess we were both wrong Veronica." Rip said and I sighed shaking my head.

"Did I hear that right?" Stein's voice made me look up and I noticed Rip nodding.

"Jax got taken by Stillwater's gang." Was the first words out of Ray's mouth when the four walked into the bridge.

"We could trade em." Jonah said as I walked over to Leonard who leaned against his favorite seat.

"You okay?" I asked and he smirked giving me a kiss on the forehead.

"Never better you?"

"I succeeded." I told him and a genuine smile graced his lips for a second before he pushed me into the seat making me smile at him.

"I knew you could." He whispered into my ear before standing straight up again. Mick had his eyes on us and I gave him a smile.

"Where is Stillwater?" Stein asked.

"He's knocked out cold in the med bay." Ray said walking around Stein, who stood by the counsel.

"Well, this is a simple matter. We trade Stillwater for Jefferson as Mr. Hex suggested."

"It's not that simple. If we release Stillwater, we're back to square one and the town is still in danger."

"So is the kid." Leonard said glaring at Ray.

"And we'll figure out a way to get him back without releasing Stillwater." Ray sighed and walked away from Leonard a little.

"I got a notion. Set up a quick draw. You win, get your guy back. You lose, you set Stillwater free." Jonah said walking towards Ray.

"And by ' lose you mean..." Stein trailed off and Leonard picked up right away.

"Get shot and killed."

"Oh, great. Pistols at high noon." Stein said sarcastically. I smirked and Mick spoke up.

"Finally, someone's talking sense." Mick said playing with his gloves.

"There has to be another way, a better way." Stein implored and Jonah nodded.

"Sure. Go after Stillwater with all your gear from the future. I don't know how that'll sit with your captain, though." He said walking over to Rip.

"Mm, let's assume it's a bad idea." Rip said nodding towards me.

"So who's standing in the middle of Main Street?" Mick asked and Ray sighed.

"I'll do it."

"Ray..."

"Raymond, now is not the time to indulge your cowboy fantasies." Stein said and Ray sighed.

"No one else is stepping forward. Plus I'm a decent shot, at least I was with an air rifle." I shook my head and sighed.

"I can't believe you're encouraging this." Rip said to Jonah before walking into the office.

"You know it's the only way."

"Dr. Palmer's going to get himself killed."

"I think you forfeited your right to an opinion when you refused to leave the ship since we've been here." Ray said and Rip sighed.

"I had good reason. Plus I was helping Ms. Melody."

"Don't drag me into this." I said leaning against Leonard, his arms wrapped around my waist.

"Because of Calvert." Stein mentioned and I shook my head as Leonard made us walk into the office, his grip never leaving my waist.

"Yes, but not in the way you think. Leaving Calvert, leaving this era is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do." Rip said and sighed.

"And why is that, Captain?" Leonard asked smirking at Rip. I leaned against him as he leaned against the doorframe.

"A Time Master is trained to do his work without interference, which means not helping people or being a hero. But as you've seen, Dr. Palmer, this era offers many opportunities for heroism. I found it enticing." Rip told us.

"An you still managed to leave. Something's been bugging me all these years. If you'd have known what Turnbull was going to do to Calvert, would you have left?" Jonah asked Rip and I sighed. Rip told me when I asked him why he didn't want to leave the ship.

"That's the thing, Jonah. I did know." He told him and Jonah punched him in the nose. "I deserve that." Rip said holding his nose.

"You deserve a lot worse. You knew, and you still left?"

"Of course I knew. I was a Time Master. And therein lay the problem. Like Raymond, like Martin, I felt the pull of heroism, of this era's penchant for being rife with opportunities to make a difference. That's one of the things that called to me, and that is why I had to leave. Because had I stayed I could no longer have remained a Time Master." Rip said and I sighed. "But I'm no longer a Time Master, which is why I'll face Stillwater."

"Wait. I said that I would do it." Ray said upset that Rip was taking away his chance at a draw. I shook my head and whispered men. Leonard smirked and kissed my neck, nipping it softly.

"Behave." He whispered into my ear.

"Send word to Stillwater's posse. I believe high noon is in less than three hours." Rip said to Jonah who nodded.

I sighed as I stood next to Kendra. Leonard was hanging with Stillwater till he had to bring him out.

"So where did you two go?" I asked her.

"A journey that ended in sorrow." I sighed and smiled at her.

"Don't let anything tell you there isn't a chance. Everyone has their own path." She nodded and I smiled.

"I'll be shooting for Sheriff Palmer."

"How do me and my boys know you're going to keep your word?" Stillwater asked Leonard who scoffed.

"Sheriff Palmer's a straight shooter."

"Then he should be the one in the street." Leonard handed him the gun and stepped back. Rip walked into position and threw his coat back for easy access to his revolver.

"Whoa Rip!" I said smiling as Rip won. They released Jax and he began his journey over to us. Stein ran to meet him.

"Jefferson, are you alright?"

"Yeah. Did you just shoot somebody for me?" Jax asked Rip who nodded.

"Yeah. You're welcome." Rip told him and I walked over to Leonard.

"You okay Leo?" I asked and he smirked kissing me.

"Never better."

"I don't think we're done here yet." Sara said and I looked over to see three figures walking towards us.

"The Hunters." I whispered and Leonard pushed me slightly behind him.

"Oh, no."

"They found us." Rip said with Sara by his side.

"Ah, friends! Welcome." Mick said making me shake my head as I closed my eyes.

"eriF dna ecI ot ym sdnah." I whispered as my hands became engulfed in fire and ice. Without my bow and arrow this was my go to spell. I began shooting the same time Leonard did beside me. Both of us moving back.

"What about our guns?" Leonard asked Rip as we got closer to them.

"Sorry. Grabbed what I could." Rip said as he and Jonah shot, along with Leonard's western gun.

"Just try to hit them, stun them and I'll do the rest." I told Leonard who nodded smirking at me. It was touch and go thankfully and I smirked having fun. Now that I trusted my magic a little more I was having more fun.

"That's what's up! Y'all better stay the hell away from us!" Jax yelled making me giggle softly as I shot more ice and fire at the Hunter near Leonard and me. Finally the last one was done and we walked over to the group.

"You okay Nica?" Leonard whispered as he wrapped an arm around my shoulder.

"Never better you?" I asked him smiling at him.

"With you around? Always fine." I smiled softly as we reached the group.

"Well, that was easy." Mick said and I giggled softly. Everyone began to go their separate ways but I of course stayed with Leonard, we decided to wait for Rip.

"God I hate corsets." I groaned as I leaned against his chest as we watched Rip talk to Jonah.

"Mmmm I think you look lovely." Leonard said biting softly on the top of my ear.

"Well....I guess once in a while." He chuckled at that and slowly kissed down my ear to the nape of my neck.

"Your future....what would it have become if you stayed in 2016?" Leonard asked making me look at him.

"What brought this on?" I ask confused as he sniffs my neck. A little bite tells me he wants his answer. "According to Gideon that is in S.T.A.R.S Labs I vanish in 2024 along with Barry, however...Barry vanished to go back in time to stop Thawn from killing the younger him. I vanished to take over Nanda Parbat and engage in a new League. Making the League more pure and less killing."

"You asked to come why? Isn't it your dream to be like your father?" Leonard asked, his eyes glazed a little.

"Hmmm that was at one point my dream. My overall dream was to make my father proud to call me his daughter. I am his daughter and he is proud, guess I need a new dream." I giggle smiling at him.

"Come on." Leonard said softly kissing my lips and pulling me over to Rip. "Interesting fella."

"Indeed." Rip said not looking at us.

"This town's seen a lot of interesting." I say smiling softly.

"Suppose you got one of those doohickies that erases people's memories or something?" Leonard asks making a clicking motion like the one used in Men In Black.

"No. But skepticism and disbelief are a far more effective tool." Rip says walking and we follow, Leonard's hand holding mine.

"Ah...so if anybody here talks, no one will believe them."

"Would you Mr. Snart? Ms. Melody?" We both nod and continue to walk. "I will see you both back at the ship."

"Of course." Leonard tells him making me stop along with him.

"What are we doing?" I ask turning to face him.

"Nice place." Leonard says making me smile.

"It is."

"Sure it's not home but...." He trails off making me turn my head to the side in confusion. "Marry me Nica."

"What?" I ask shocked.

"Marry me, today. I want you as my wife."

"Yes." I whisper softly against his chest.

"What are we waiting for." He smirks and drags me to the church in the middle of the town making me smile.

"I hope you know one day I expect a proper wedding with Mick, Lisa, and my friends."

"One day I'll give it to you. I'll give you the world Blackbird." I smile and shake my head happy as we enter the church.

"Can I help you my children?" The pastor asks.

"We wish to wed." Leonard says never taking his eyes off me.

"Oh...yes of course! Do you have rings?" The pastor asks and Leonard smirks making me smile softly.

"Right here." He pulls out two simple bands, one gold the other silver.

"Very well...any relatives? Friends?"

"No just us." Leonard tells the pastor who nods.

"Very well, do you...."

"Leonard Snart."

"Do you Leonard Snart take...."

"Veronica Melody."

"Do you Leonard Snart take Veronica Melody to be your wife in the eyes of god for the rest of your mortal life?"

"I do."

"And do you Veronica Melody take Leonard Snart to you your husband in the eyes of god for the rest of your mortal life?"

"I do."

"Please exchange the rings and I will pronounce you husband and wife." Leonard slips the silver ring onto my finger and hands me the gold to slip onto his. "By the power vested in me by the lord, I now pronounce you husband and wife." Leonard pulls me close and kisses me softly, I felt like I was floating on air.

"How much good sir?" I ask as we pull apart.

"Free young lady. I hope you enjoy married life." I smile and Leonard smirks leading me out of the church.

Leonard leans onto the table while I sit right next to his head.

"So how are you feeling, given your concerns about becoming addicted to this era once again?" Stein asks Rip as Sara walks next to me and leans her butt on the table I am sitting on.

"The last time I left, Martin, I did it to be with those closest to me. I'm doing the same thing again." Rip tells him and I smile softly running my fingers through Leonard's hair.

"So where to now?" Leonard asks rolling his eyes and smirking softly at me.

"Or, more specifically, when?" Sara asks leaning closer to me and Leonard. I feel her eyes on my finger and blush softly. Kendra standing beside her thankfully speaks before she can question me.

"Is there another Fragmentation we can hide out in?" She asks and I look to Rip.

"Unfortunately, matters are not quite so simple."

"How'd I know you were gonna say something like that?" Jax asks shaking his head.

"Rip's buddies..." Mick starts and Ray interrupts him.

"And yours."

"The Time Masters have issued Omega Protocols on all of us."

"That sounds pretty terrible." Ray says making me sigh.

"The worst king of order they can issue." Mick says getting off the wall and locking eyes with Leonard and me. "They've sent the Pilgrim after us."

"Who's the Pilgrim?" Jax asks and I feel a chill go through me.

"The Pilgrim is the Time Masters' most deadly assassin, and she will stop at nothing until each and everyone of you are dead." Rip says locking eyes with me.

"Ooh, scary." Leonard mocks and I bump him softly making him look at me with the corner of his eye. He blinks when he sees the scared look on my face. "Pretty sure we can handle ourselves." He finishes but I know he'll talk to me alone about my fear.

"Indeed....which is why she won't be going after the present-day versions of you." Rip says and I sigh.

"She's hunting our younger selves." Mick says looking at everyone. "And she won't stop until each and every one of us has been erased from the timeline."
