Okay so fair warning Mick might seem a little (or a lot) OOC in this chapter. I just figured that this might be how he acts when he feels drawn to someone or has a crush on them.

We were kept in solitude for two days before they moved us to the main prison. I was right behind Mick and Ray.

"Hey. Howdy. How are you doing?" Ray was talking to everyone making me roll my eyes.

"What the hell are you doing?" Mick asked him in a gruff voice.

"Just being friendly. This must be where they keep the VIPs."

"This is prison, jackass. There are no VIPs."

"Some of these guys have been here for a while. Hey, maybe this guy knows where Stein is."

"Меньше говорить! Двигайся быстрее." (Less talk! Move faster.) The guard in the very front said as the one next to me pushed Ray.

"The only thing you should be worrying about, Pretty, is lasting the night." Mick told Ray as we stopped in front of a cell.

"Stein needs help. He's in real trouble." Ray said trying to make Mick understand but I saw where Mick was coming from.

"Newsflash, so are we." Mick responded. Mick walked in followed by me. The guard had to push Ray in.

"Спи сладко." (Sleep tight.) The guard smirked at me before walking away.

"Think they'll bring us blankets later?" Ray asked as Mick climbed onto the top and held his hand out to pull me up too. "You sure that's safe?"

"I'd rather have her up here than down there." Mick responded smirking. I smiled and sighed. I knew what Mick was doing.

"Why?" Ray asked and I laughed. "What Roni?"

"We're in a male gulag. All males, first female....I'm safer away from the door and up higher than down there." He nodded finally understanding. Mick wrapped his arms around me and I relaxed into his arms.

"Hey Roni want to play 20 questions?" Ray asked after a while.

"Sure why not." Mick grunted and I smirked at him. "You don't have to play." I told him and he nodded.

"I'll go first. Why are you so close with Mick and Leonard?"

"Because they treat me like a normal person and not a child." Ray sighed and nodded. "Why do you keep treating me like a child?"

"Because I promised that I would look after you." I sighed and Mick rolled his eyes. "Do you have feelings for them?" Mick looked up at this and I rolled my eyes making Mick smirk.

"Isn't that a little personal with Mick here?" Ray sighed and nodded. The door opened and everyone was heading to the yard. "Come on...even if the food sucks I'm hungry." I jumped down and Mick followed.

"Ray stay in front of her." Mick told him. We walked out and got in the line. "You need to stay by me okay?"

"Yeah." He smirked and we were getting close to the front.

"Huh. It's just like scout camp. Man the food was terrible. There was one time they gave us Salisbury steak."

"You ever stop talking?" Mick asked him and I shook my head no.

"Just be lucky he hasn't made any sexual innuendo without meaning to."

"What I wouldn't give for a little Salisbury steak now." Ray said looking at his food. I rolled my eyes as the man filled mine and Mick's up. Ray had walked off.

"Put your hand down." Mick yelled at Ray when we were walking over to him.

"He might know where Vostok is keeping the Professor." Ray tried to reason.

"Ray...please." I whispered as Mick just told him to eat. Ray of course ignored us.

"Do you know if there's any other place where they keep prisoners here? We're looking for a friend."

"There is a place. They send you there, you never come back. You can hear the screams all night." The man said as an bigger man came up behind him. Mick wrapped his arm around my waist as I ate the food.

"I can't believe you're eating that." He whispered.

"I'm hungry. Ray's gonna get beat up isn't he?" I asked worried.

"He brought it on himself." I nodded but it didn't make me feel any better. When a man with a lighter walked over Mick removed his arm from my waist and took the lighter from the guy. He just watched the flame. I rolled my eyes but stayed put.

I sighed as we sat in the cell. I was on the top bunk laying my head on Mick's chest as he watched the flame. I was cold and when I had laid the other way earlier he pulled me close to him, so I didn't fight it.

"You okay?" He asked me not looking away from the flame.

"I hope everyone else is okay." He smirked and looked away from the flame finally.

"They are. Leonard is keeping them in line." I nodded and sighed. The cell opened and in came a mud soaked Ray.

"Ray...." He looked at Mick pissed. Mick just glanced at him and back to the flame.

"Hey, Pyro, what was that there back in the yard?"

"Just your typical prison alpha. He didn't like you threatening his reputation." Mick said as I sighed sitting up. He kept one arm wrapped around my waist.

"Not that. I mean you sitting there while I was getting my ass kicked."

"None of my business, plus if I helped you Roni would have been in danger." I blushed a little, that was the first time Mick called me Roni.

"She would have been fine for a couple minutes! And we're supposed to be a team!" Ray yelled, he was pissed since he would have never agreed for me to be alone.

"The only team I'm on is mine, Snart's, and Roni's." He responded. "Besides you had that beat down coming." He put the lighter out and pulled me back down.

"Oh, well, I can't sit back and watch an old man get pushed around. And Roni you can't either I know you!"

"Ray in here...I'm fresh meat. Do you know what could happen to me?" I asked turning away from them.

"Then you're a bigger fool than I thought." Mick pulled me closer to him and I tried not to think of the bad things and focus on the good.

"These are the ones I want." The Colonel walked into the cell. "Remember me?" He smirked.

"Take the girl down to the cells. These two come with me."

"No!" Mick tried to fight the guards but one of them punched him in the stomach hard.

"Ray! Mick!" I yelled as they pulled me away from them.

"Stop fighting girl!" One of the guards said hitting my cheek. I spit out some blood making them laugh. Once we reached a cell in the middle of a room they threw me inside.

"We'll be back to show you a real man soon." With that they left laughing.

"I have to get out of here." I whispered standing up. My right cheek hurt and I spit out some more blood. When he slapped me I bit my tongue. I could hear screaming and I looked around trying to figure out what to do. With my emotions being high using magic wasn't a safe bet but I needed to get out and save the others.

The screaming had dulled down and I sighed sadly.

"kcolnU."(Unlock) The cell door opened and I sighed in relief before making my trek down the long hallway. "I have to find them." I whispered walking around aimlessly until I heard shuffling. I hid against the wall and sighed. "esaelP evig em erif dna eci."(Please give me fire and ice) Fire and ice engulfed my hands and I jumped out ready to attack.

"Blackbird!" I stopped and opened my eyes. I shook my hands off as Sara ran over to me.

"Your face..." Sara rubbed the bruise and I smiled sadly.

"I'm fine...I was with Mick and Ray until just an hour ago I think...they separated us."

"Do you know where Stein is?" She asked and I shook my head no. "Still sticking to your plan?"

"Yes." Sara rolled her eyes and headed into a duct.

"What plan?" I asked.

"Rescue Mick and you. Since you're here that just leaves Mick. Stay here."

"Be careful..." He nodded and headed off. I sighed as I waited for them to return. "Why am I just waiting here...I could help him." I whispered before heading the way that he went.

I got lost once but fixed my path easily. It didn't take long to reach the cell halls. Mick was carrying Ray and Leonard was trying to get them both out. I opened the door and threw the guards prisoners back shocking them and myself.

"Go." I whispered holding the guards back until they were clear. I shut the door and followed them.

"I told you to stay put." Leonard said as we ran.

"I know." I smiled and sighed weakly. We reached a different hall and Leonard stopped walking.

"That door leads to the loading bay. From there, you can get to the Jumpship."

"Hey, Mick, this is a strange kind of hug." Ray said weakly.

"Where are you going?" Mick asked Leonard.

"I got something to do. Go with them Veronica." I nodded and sighed.

"You okay?" I asked Mick as we walked onto the Jumpship.

"Are you?" I nodded and he saw the bruise. "That wasn't there before..." He brushed it and I smiled softly. I sat next to Ray and Mick sat next to me.

Once everyone was on the ship we took off fast. After we reconnected with the Waverider it was time to get out of there.

We were all in Rip's office.

"Courtesy of Yuri the Bear." Mick said grabbing three shots. One for me. I smiled taking it from him.

"How did you even have time to steal this?" Sara asked and Leonard smirked.

"There's always time to steal." Mick walked over to Ray and handed him the other glass.

"Thank you. And just so you know, I know you're more than just a thief." Ray said to Mick.

"You took a beating for me. We're even. End of story." Mick said trying to brush it off. I smiled.

"Well, thank you." Ray said again.

"More drinking, less feeling." Mick drank his shot and went for more.

"A toast to the first time we haven't completely ruined the timeline." Stein said smiling.

"Please tell me that's true, Gideon."

"The projections of the future are back to normal."

"I'll drink to that." Kendra said.

"To Rip." Leonard added. "To things not going according to his plan."

"To the Captain." Everyone said raising their glasses. I sighed and walked to my room, wanting some alone time. I closed my eyes as I laid in my bed. Without realizing it I drifted to sleep.

There was a sharp jerk that awoke me.

"Ms. Melody I would advise you to strap in." Gideon said and I strapped myself to my bed. There were a bunch of blasts until they stopped.

"Gideon what is going on?" I yelled.

"We are falling out of the time stream in time and place miss."

"English!"

"We're crashing." I groaned and couldn't wait until the ship stopped moving. I unbuckled myself and walked to the bridge.

"What happened?" I asked pissed.

"Chronos attacked us...are you okay?" Mick asked looking at me.

"Yeah I'm fine."

"Well let's go see where we landed." Rip said and we all followed him.

"Roni you should stay here." Mick whispered walking past me and I nodded. I was still feeling weak so I didn't want to argue.
