We were running down the corridors Leonard's hand wrapped right around mine.

"You sure it was a good idea leaving the Terminator on the bridge?"

"Gideon has lockdown protocols which..."

"Have been overridden, Captain. Chronos is utilizing superior Time Master technology. I cannot countermand his orders." Gideon said and I rolled my eyes holding my head. The ship started to move.

"He's timejumping the ship!" Rip yelled pissed.

"The ladies will be left in 1958!" Leonard said and I smiled.

"What about Ray?"

"Like I said." Leonard replied making me laugh.

"Let's go! We have to stop him!" Rip yelled and we all began to try to make it to the doors. I stayed close to Leonard. "Gideon open the doors on my mark. You three get to the jumpship and escape." Rip said and sighed when I shook my head.

"We are not abandoning you!" Stein said.

"No, you are obeying a direct order from your captain." I watched both of them take off and Rip looked at me. "Why did I expect you to listen Veronica?"

"No clue." He sighed and shook his head.

"Now Gideon!" The doors opened and we started to fight against Chronos.

"Rip!" Rip was unconscious and I was getting pissed. Chronos took Rip down first and started to focus on Leonard. "Leave him alone!" I yelled and threw a huge gust of wind at Chronos. I ran over to Leonard. "You okay?"

"Peachy you?" I smirked and helped him up. Suddenly I flew back and so did Leonard. "Nica." He whispered before we both passed out.

I shot my eyes opened and noticed Leonard was still knocked out. When he woke up he started to thrash.

"I tried that." I whispered and he looked at me in panic.

"Nica....you're okay? You're not bleeding?"

"Leo, I'm fine." He nodded and sighed but kept trying to get free. When we heard footsteps we both backed away. When Chronos just walked past us we both relaxed a little.

"Uh, hello?"

"A UFO sighting in Hub City in 1960 has created a time anomaly. It looks like your friends survived." Chronos said and I looked at Leonard confused.

"And what would they be doing in 1960?" Leonard asked and Chronos didn't answer.

"I don't think I want to know." I whispered and sighed. Leonard was still trying slowly to get out but nothing was working.

I kept saying kcolnu(unlock) over and over in my head and it wasn't working either.

"So, uh what's so special about us? I mean aside from my sparkling personality, and Nica's beautiful looks. Back on the Waverider, you could've taken your boy, Rip. But you took us instead. Why?" Leonard said and Chronos still didn't respond. "Hey, if you're gonna kill us, you could at least tell us what's going on." Chronos slowly turned around and I sighed.

"You should have figured it out by now." He took off his helmet and it was Mick. "After all, I am supposed to be the dumb one."

"Mick?" I asked and Leonard looked so shocked.

"How?" Leonard asked and Mick just stayed in front of Leonard. "I think I deserve to know what the hell is going on here!" Leonard was no pissed and was trying to break out yet again.

"You deserve nothing."

"Says the man who sold us out to the pirates! When I dropped you off in that forest, I meant to kill you. That was the plan." I looked down sadly. I always knew just like I always knew he wouldn't kill him but now....I'm wishing he would have.

"You should've stuck with the plan and done me a favor." Mick said and looked over at me before looking back at Leonard.

"I may not have trusted you on the ship with the team, but Nica and I always, always was coming back for you!" Mick smirked.

"Seems like one of us lost track of time."

"Well, how long did you..."

"By the time they found me, I'd nearly lost my mind. I was so weak, I was strangling rats to survive."

"When who found you?" Leonard asked Mick and Mick looked down.

"The Time Masters." I whispered and Mick nodded.

"They took me to a place called the Vanishing Point. Time doesn't exist there the way it does on Earth. I've spent lifetimes being restored by them, trained by them, fighting by them, being reborn." Mick explained and I felt sorry for him.

"And, uh, when exactly did your new friends give you the, uh, lobotomy?" Leonard asked and Mick looked pissed.

"You think I was hunting you and your friends because the Time Masters made me? They barely had to ask. But I still made sure Birdie here didn't get hurt." Mick said and I looked up.

"The fight in 75....you threw me out of the way."

"Exactly."

"Leave her alone!" Leonard yelled when Mick came over to me.

"So you two huh? Knew it was bound to happen...Let me guess you love each other?" Mick asked laughing. I blushed and Leonard glared at him.

"Look, if you're gonna kill me, just do it already! Just don't kill Nica..."

"I'm not going to kill you or birdie. I'm gonna take a trip back to Central City and visit your baby sister. Then go to Star City and visit Oliver Queen. The beautiful thing about time travel is I get to kill them more than once. I can kill them in front of you, go back in time, kill them in front of you again, and again, and again." Tears were coming to my eyes and I knew Leonard was fighting his back as well.

"Sir, several anomalies in the timeline suggest that the Waverider has touched down in Nanda Parbat."

"Chart a course." Mick turned away from us. "I used to think the most beautiful thing on Earth was fire...Now I know, it's vengence." I turned to look at Leonard who looked at me with sad eyes.

"Don't you dare blame yourself." I whispered and he gave me a small smirk.

"I'll get us out of this Nica." He whispered and I smiled softly.

"Sir, we've landed in Nanda Parbat." Mick nodded and started to head out.

"Would you mind loosening these up a little bit before you leave?" Leonard asked putting his hands up. Mick just ignored us. "Just out of curiosity, what do you think your new masters are gonna do with you once you've delivered the team up to them? I don't expect there's a pension plan for old bounty hunters."

"Mick please just stop this."

"Once they get what they want from you, they're gonna toss you aside." Leonard was trying to get a reaction out of Mick and I knew it.

"Like you tossed me aside? Like you're going to toss birdie aside one day."

"Leave her out of this!" Leonard yelled pissed. "You and I both made choices that led us to this moment. What matters, Mick, is your next move. And I'm willing to bet that some little piece of the old you is in that armor somewhere." Leonard said after calming down.

"No, you're wrong." With that Mick left.

"Don't listen to him Nica, I would never get rid of you." Leonard said softly looking at me.

"Of course you won't." I said smiling. He laughed and sighed.

"No, I mean it. I will never get rid of you." I blushed and he smiled at me.

"What are you doing?" I asked him watching him get up.

"Getting us out of here before Mick comes back. You just stay there okay Nica." I nodded and sighed. He was grunting a lot and I was getting worried.

"Leo you okay?"

"Yeah sweetheart." I blushed and was so glad he couldn't see.

"Sweetheart?" I asked and he chuckled.

"Tell me more about your childhood."

"Um...well...do we have to talk about this now?"

"Either now or later. Ahh..." He screamed out really loud.

"Leo!" I yelled and heard a clank. He stood in front of me, his left hand missing. "What did you do?" I asked as he sat down across from me.

"Hold your hands far apart." I did what he said and he shot the cuffs then broke it with his gun.

"What did you do?" I asked cupping his face in my hands.

"Whatever I could to get out and get to you." He told me kissing me, I kissed back and sighed leaning my forehead against his.

"Come on, let's go save our team." I told him once we were both standing. I was helping him walk and he almost fell a couple of times.

"Hey Nica, if we survive this...let's get married." I blushed and laughed a little.

"Seriously....ask me again later okay?"

"Why's that?" He asked smirking at me.

"Because if you are serious, I want you to ask me again later." He smirked and nodded.

"Okay Nica." I smiled and sighed as we walked into Nanda Parbat.

"They might be in the Lazarus Room." I whispered as I helped him walk.

"Lazarus Room?" He asked and I blushed. "How do you know so much about this place?"

"What are you talking about?"

"We haven't gotten lost once." Leonard said as I blushed.

"There it is." I said smiling as we came to the doorway. We came in just in time to see Firestorm about to attack Mick.

"Don't do it!" Leonard shouted.

"Guys!" I yelled making them completely stop.

"Don't kill him." We both said at the same time and I blushed. I looked up to see my father standing by Father's side. Father had his eyes around my neck and I noticed the necklace out to be seen.

"Snart? Veronica?" Firestorm said and backed off.

"Sorry, don't kill Chronos?" Rip asked pissed.

"He's not Chronos. Show them!" Leonard yelled at Mick who didn't move.

"Take off his helmet." I said and Leonard nodded at Firestorm who did it.

"My god..." Everyone was shocked to see Mick except for me and Leonard, for good reason.

"There is no god." Mick said. He went for his gun and Sara knocked him down.

Sara and Rip were staying behind with Father. Leonard could tell I wanted to stay.

"Come on..I'm not going to the ship without you so let's go say what you have to say." I smiled and kissed him.

"Why aren't you two back on the ship?" Rip asked as he and Sara left the Lazarus Room.

"I need to talk to him. I won't spoil much." I said smiling.

"The answer is..." Rip started but Sara stopped him.

"Go say goodbye, I know you didn't and you both need it." Sara told me and I smiled brightly. Leonard walked in with me.

"I'll stay here." He told me kissing me and I nodded walking over to Father.

"Hello, my child." Father said turning to me. My father had already left the room.

"Father." Leonard looked shocked and I smiled softly at him.

"You are Al Har-Is' daughter correct?" I nodded and he smiled brightly. "I am glad to see that Al Har-Is did make me godfather. Have I taught you to fight?"

"No, you...you believed that I was too pure to fight." He smirked and walked closer to me.

"Yes, you are. Who is he?"

"My.....my beloved." I answered honestly shocking Leonard but his shock turned to a sweet smile.

"Introduce me, my daughter." I nodded and led him over to Leonard.

"Leo, this is Ra's Al-Ghul, my Father."

"Pleasure to meet you, sorry it's not under better circumstances." Leonard says with his usual charm.

"The pleasure is all mine. Take good care of my daughter. Apparently in your time she means more to me than anyone. Now you should go." I kissed his cheek and he kissed my forehead before he gave Leonard a cold look but nodded making me smile.

"What was that about?" Leonard asked as we made our way to the ship.

"He approves of you, also the little boy who ran out."

"Yeah?"

"That was my birth father, Ra's was more of a father to me than he was though." I smiled and Leonard shook his head.

"So every time you said father, you meant leader of the assassins...damn." I laughed and helped him to the brig where everyone was.

"You think this is all over? I will kill every single one of you. I will watch you all burn! You...you should have killed me when you had the ch...." Before Mick could continue his monologue Rip silenced him.

"You owe us an explanation." Rip said turning to me and Leonard.

"Yes, it's quite remarkable Mr. Rory is working for the Time Masters, considering you killed him." I rolled my eyes along with Leonard as Stein said that.

"If you think back..."

"I never actually said I killed him." Leonard finished for me.

"No, you just let us think you did. Now I see why Roni kept getting upset." Jax said and Leonard smirked.

"I didn't have to try too hard, did I? Well...maybe I should have.At least he wouldn't have wound up a chew toy for the Time Master." Leonard said and I rubbed his arm.

"But if you did...we wouldn't have this opportunity." Rip said making everyone look at him.

"An opportunity? To do what?" Ray asked confused.

"To reform Mr. Rory." Rip said and I sighed.

"He killed Aldus." Kendra said shocked.

"Under the influence of the Time Masters." Rip explained.

"Chronos killed Aldus. Mr. Rory was fighting on our side that day." Stein said. I rolled my eyes, my main concern right now was making sure nothing happened to Leonard.

"I know what it's like to be trained by an organization for one purpose, to kill, and the kind of loyalty that it can inspire. I need to know that we can reach Rory, for my own sake." Sara said.

"The Time Master took one of our own and turned him against us. I say we undo their handiwork." I looked at Leonard and rolled my eyes. Neither of us wanted to trust Mick right now. He threatened the people who are important to us.

"Rory saved my life back in the gulag. He's more than just a criminal and an arsonist."

"He's a member of our team." Jax said after Ray.

"He's a lost cause." Leonard said pissed and I nodded.

"Oh, I wouldn't be so sure about that. You will see that miracles abound on this old timeship." Rip said smiling. "Now you two, come with me to the Medbay." Leonard sighed and I helped him to the Medbay. "Just take a seat, Mr. Snart." Leonard did as Rip said but sighed.

"What exactly are you going to do Rip?" Leonard asked with his usual attitude. I smirked and laughed at him.

"Gideon, start the regeneration process." Rip said and I looked over at him, same a Leonard.

"What do you mean by 'regeneration'?" Leonard asked and Rip smiled.

"I took genetic samples from each of you at the start of our voyage for this exact eventuality."

"Why am I only hearing about this now?" Leonard asked pissed.

"Seriously Rip?"

"Because none of you had lost a limb yet." Rip said and Leonard nodded like it made sense. I rolled my eyes but we all watched as his hand started to return.

"Ow." Leonard said still watching his hand.

"Wow." I whispered once the process was done. Rip laughed before leaving us. "You okay?"

"Better now, come here." He pulled me onto the chair and held me. "I was serious....about marrying you, just not yet."

"That's the answer I was waiting for." He looked confused and I smiled. "I knew you didn't want to get married right away, but I wanted to hear it from you." He laughed and kissed me.

"Are you sure you'll stay with me?"

"Through thick and thin. Leo." He smirked and I got off the bed first. "Come on." He nodded and we walked out together to the bridge. We stood by the door we came through, Sara was on the stairs to Rip's office, and Stein and Jax were over by the dash. Kendra and Ray had yet to come join us.

Finally Kendra and Ray came in all lovey-dovey. I felt Leonard pull me close to him.

"We are cuter than them." He whispered in my ear making me giggle, not laugh, giggle....I never giggled.

"I believe we're ready to leave 1960." Rip said coming out from his office.

"And go where? I mean, when?" Sara asked shaking her head.

"Mere decades before Vandal Savage conquered the world."

"I thought you had no idea where he was." Leonard said as we walked over to our seats.

"You said Savage had been lost to history."

"Not world-changing history. Records of the period are scarce, but I've always known that Vandal Savage can be located in 2147." Rip said and I had to roll my eyes.

"So why haven't you told us this sooner?" Jax asked.

"Because that period of history is fraught with more peril than I was willing to risk. We have no choice but to stop Vandal Savage in 2147 or to die trying." Rip said and everyone looked at each other. Leonard wrapped his arm around my waist and held me close.

"Well, I've died before." Kendra said and Sara stood up.

"So have I." Sara said and we all walked into our seats, Leonard made sure I was strapped in first before he sat down.

"My hero." I whispered once he sat and we joined hands.

"Gideon, plot a course for the Kasnia Conglomerate. The year 2147." Rip said and with that we were off.
