Title: Cerebrum jailed with thoughts most would consider rot

Ever since the girl's last conversation with the Ring Master, it was like something had awakened inside of her.

Although she was back in her little cottage for the past few days, it was as if the strange feelings from back at the circus had clung onto her. Even her thoughts had changed and she could not stop them.

It was as if her cerebrum was jailed with thoughts most would consider rot. Emotions that she had never felt before were now surfacing. It was like something wanted her to avenge her family.

She was the only one in her family who did not have as much powers and she often thought that was why they had left her behind. Now looking at it from a different perspective, that was probably why she was not killed with them. It was because they thought that she was not as strong, they left her alive.

With all these thoughts on revenge, she was not even able to leave the corner of the room she was curled up in. She had been desperately trying to cry, so that these thoughts would go away and she could mourn for her loved one but she was unable to do so.

Did the Ring Master do this to me? Everything was going so well for her, if only she had not gone to visit that circus and had just forgotten about what she had witnessed. Then again, what if she did?

Was my life really going well? She was all alone in the woods with no one to interact with. Barely seeing or hearing anyone besides animals meant that she was nothing but an animal herself.

Forcing herself off the floor, she dusted her shorts and went to fetch some water for her plants. She could not just sit on floor moping because that would not solve anything.

After what seemed like forever, all her plants were watered and she had stored some water in her hut. Even from all the trips to the river, she was not hungry or tired. However, that had not stop her from thinking of the many ways she could torture those who had taken her family from her.

For all of her life, Caeli was a reserved girl. She was not an introvert but neither was she an extrovert. Just like any normal person, she interacted with others and her life was normal. That was until her family moved to Light Amethyst. They were travelers after all, never staying in one realm for too long, but everything changed in this realm.

She moved around the realms with her grandmother, parents and three other siblings as well as her aunt's family.

Light Amethyst was the least powerful realm due to the lack of magic power the people possessed. Only few were blessed with having any abilities, but it was still not as strong as the people belonging to the other realms.

The people here were known for their gentleness and creativity, however, they had a tendency of being too-faced. They were very sociable and curious, which made Caeli's family think that they could stay in that realm for a longer period of time.

However, the sociable people quickly began to fear the family when they learnt of their magical abilities. It was quite noticeable how their chatter would die down whenever Caeli or any of her family members passed by. Sometimes, they would even run away from them, but that did not bother her family.

Then one day when Caeli woke up, she was all alone. Their house was in perfect condition except for a few missing items. There was no trace of her family and neither did it look like something had happened to them.

She spent months looking for them everywhere in Light Amethyst, but never found them. It was then that the people of this land started treating her coldly, so she took her belongings and moved into the woods. There was no need for her to stay around people who obviously did not accept her presence.

Unlike the rest of the realms where by the age of fourteen, if you do not develop magical abilities then you never will, Caeli's family was different. Even after the age of fourteen, they could still receive their powers. The only difference was that depending on how many years they had to wait, was how powerful they would be.

Caeli was now eighteen almost nineteen and still had not received her abilities. She was not concerned because her father had gotten his when he had turned nineteen.

"Ugh," Caeli groaned out of frustration. Her hands were pulling at her hair as she tried to shake away the voices in her head. At this point, she would not mind getting a headache because she would think of the pain.

Not being able to take it any more, she walked over to the hut's door. Fed up, she was going to try make herself unconscious.

Taking in three breaths of air, she run straight at the wall head first. Soon after she collided with the wall, she fell onto the ground and happily accepted the blankness.
