TAEHYUNG POV:

I was sleeping when my phone started ringing, without looking at the id i picked up and said with sleepy voice

Tae: hello??

???: Hello tae...there is emergency...we need you here

Tae: ok i will be there in 10 minutes

I hunged up and grabbed my coat, wallat, car keys and went out towards hospital

TIME SKIP

After 10 minutes i reached hospital and went directly to cardiology department where Mark was waiting for me to give me briefing about emergency case. We started walking towards operation theater as Mark explained me patient condition

TWO HOURS LATER

I came in cabin after the operation. I cant believe interns can be this careless. I looked at mark who was drinking water and said

Tae: can you send intern who checked patient vitals before operation

Mark nodded and went out and after five minutes cameback with two rookie doctors

I took a deep breath and said

Tae: Which one of you checked patient vitals

They both didnt answer and kept looking down. I was getting annoyed so i yelled at them

Tae: I ASKED WHO WAS IT!!!

one of them came forward and said

???:  i d-did s-sir.

Tae: whats your name?

???:  k-kai

Tae: okay so kai...did you checked patient vitals before he went for operation

Kai: y-yes sir...i did

Tae: Really...was patient blood pressure and sugar level was normal

Kai: it was sir

Tae: okay.....when did you checked patient vitals

Kai: Two hour before operation

Tae: Are you kidding me huh

I yelled and he flinched a little scared by my raised voice

Tae: when operation started patient sugar level was high and you didnt checked...the patient could die because of your carelessness

Kai just kept looking at floor as he was being scolded by me
After giving few minutes of lecture i sighed and said

Tae: i dont want you near my any patient until you know your responsiblty

kai: ok sir

Tae: now get out

I said and he left while mark looked at me asked

Mark: so your not going to report this to director?

Tae: ofcourse not

Mark: why?

Tae: because director might kick him out of here without any warning

Mark: but he did a mistake

Tae: i know but im giving him a chance

Mark: ok

I looked at clock and then looked at mark pissed as he questioned me

Mark: what?

Tae: you could have called someone else from departement. Why did you called me. I was in operation theater whole night and you didnt even let me sleep in morning

Mark: i know im sorry its just first name came in my mind was yours...the best surgeon KIM TAEHYUNG you know

Tae: stop buttering me

I said picked my coat and was about to went out when mark asked

Mark: yah kim taehyung where are you going living me behind alone

I turned to mark and said

Tae: im going to met hyung today

Mark: you mean Park Seo Joon from neuro department

Tae: yeah

Mark: why??

Tae: actually i was having terrible headache and i even vomit sometime so hyung told me to visit him. Im just going to get results of test today

Mark: you were sick but i didnt notice

Tae: its because we met for 5 minutes in whole day dummy

Mark: Yah im not a dummy

Mark said and pouted as i laughed and went out towards neuro department
I reached neuro department and knocked. When i heard hyung saying "come in" i opened door and went in
When i went in i saw hyung eho looked stressed. I got worried so i decided to ask

Tae: hyung is everything ok??

He looked at me and sighed as he says

Seojoon: tae sit plz

Hyung said in a serious tone so without wasting single second i sat across hyung on chair and asked

Tae: what is it hyung...you are looking stressed

Hyung took a deep breath and said

Seojoon: tae its not about me but....its about you

Tae: Me?....what about me hyung

Seojoon: you were having terrible headache right?

Tae: yeah

Seojoon: its was because of a reason

I laughed and said jokely

Tae: dont tell me im dying

Seojoon: Tae you are diagnosed with brain tumor

After hearing that my whole world crashed infront of my eye

"Im dying"
