Jungkook is late. Again. And Jimin's beginning to get worried. It's been 2 months since they moved in to a new apartment together and for the last couple of weeks something about Jungkook seemed a bit off.
Jungkook's Jimin's best friend though at this point Jimin's more than willing to throw away that label and brand him as his lover. Jimin's been in love with Jungkook for sometime now, but he's too afraid to say that out loud as he's not sure of Jungkook's own feelings. He's felt the tension several times when they were together, but Jungkook was always too quick to come up with something too creative to cover up the situation making Jimin question himself whether Jungkook likes him or not. Jimin knows that he's in trouble. For falling so hard for his best friend. He even dropped some hints here and there hoping Jungkook would get the message, but no.. the little kid is too ignorant to his subtle confessions.
After about three hours of waiting, Jimin heard the front door open. Jungkook's home. Finally. He looked at the clock. 1.00 am. What the hell was he doing till this late? Jimin went to his best friend and the sight in front of him broke his heart. Jungkook looked so worn out and tired and Jimin quickly jogged up to hug his little kookie. He waited a second. Two seconds. Three seconds. Still no response from the little kid. Jungkook who usually responds immediately to Jimin's hugs, was tensing under the very much familiar action. Something's definitely wrong with Jungkookie, Jimin's so sure. After a few seconds, Jimin felt Jungkook trying to move out of his hold and that's when Jimin's curiosity reached it's peak .
"Jungkook-ah.. Where have you been?" Jimin's voice was so low, but in control as he tightened his grip around Jungkook's hand making the younger boy face him. "Hyung, I was at Tae's place. Studying.." Looking at the ground,  Jungkook stumbled over the words and Jimin senses the very much familiar smell.
Jungkook's drunk and he's lying.
