Stuck in the Middle
Her friends
Her family
Two groups that she holds so dear
Hate each other
Say such cruel things to one another
Only to accomplish one goal
To hurt the other side
However,
They don't see the pain they inflict on her
They don't see how much she is dying on the inside
They push
And demand she chose a sideShe's stuck in the middleIf she defends friends before family she is wrongShe is told blood is thicker than waterHowever is she family over friends she is wrongShe is told she will have no friends if she can't stand up for herself
She is stuck in the middle
Friends or family
Family or friends
She sits alone in a dark room debating what to do
She heart is heavy
Soul is turing black
Her mind dives to the darkest place there is
A knife is by her side
Sitting there gleaming with dark desire
It would be so easy
One small cut and it would end
One swift slash and the pain would end
She would no longer have to pick a side
Because there would be none
They have done this to her
They have brought her to the edge of no return
But she can't do it
Her mind won't let her
Her soul still have that little light left
But the pain is too much
Too deep for her to hold onto
She looks to her right and sees the knife
She looks to her left and sees the pills
Left or right
Once again she is stuck in the middle
One will put her to sleep
The other will bring her pain
It's a no brainer which one she wants to do.
She picks it up and decides how many she wants to do
One pill
Two pills
Three pills
Why not the whole bottle
Dying sounded much easier than choosing
Because being stuck in the middle is not something you want to be in
Hey guy's yes I did edit this, but I want to be real with you guys and yes this is a true story, this was back when I was going through a really hard time. My parents didn't like my choice of friends because they smoke pot and my friends didn't like my parents because they controlled everything I did. I respect my parents and I know why they don't like my friends, but my friends made me happy and I didn't want to give them up. A lot of times I felt like I was a rope and was being pulled from both sides. This put a lot of stress on me and I didn't know who to go to for help. So yes, I did try to commit suicide, at the time it just seemed so easy, I was knocking two birds with one stone. I wouldn't have to deal with the pain and I wouldn't have to pick a side, but what I was about to do would be so much worse. My mother would have found a shell less body and that cold and it would have broken her. Yes I did have to go to the hospital and a lot of my blood was on the high side, but I was okay because I made my body puke it all up. My point is, the easy way isn't always the right way. Leaving behind people who truly care about you, and missing out on your future would be so much worse. So if you feel like you're slipping over the edge, come talk to me, I know what it is like and I will be there to help you out.
