But it's true

I want to say I'm in love with you
But don't know if you'll flee
So I'll give you my heat and wait for you.

I'll tell you this,
I'm patient when it comes to you.
Because I know this love won't die.

You made a promise to not leave my side
Well I'll hold you to it to the day I die.

Don't think I'm morbid
Because I'm not.
I'm stating the truth when I say I'll be by your side.

So I'll wait for you to trust your heart in my hands.
And when the day comes when you come up to me I'll be ready.

You'll hold out your hand and there is your heart.
I'll smile and a tear will go down the side.
"I give you my heart now, will you give me yours?" You will say and I'll shake my head no and give a smile.

"I can't give you my heart since it's already yours from the start, but I shall take your heart" I'll say as I take your hand and place a kiss on your lips.
