I fell in love with the chaotic state of my mind at midnight
when the world seemed to be asleep
with the colour of the sky after a long,stormy night
with the sound of the ocean as it drowned away my fears

which have become so rare to us all
I fell in love with your laughter that bounced off the walls
with Autumn,when the leaves turned green, yellow and gold
and the beauty of nature would unfold

I fell in love with the sound of the rain as it hit the ground
and created perfectly,audible music
I fell in love with Fridays ,when I was positioned in sujood
to the Most Forgiving of all
I fell in love with books,words and myself again
and poetry that would echo in my head for ages

I fell in love with everything that absorbed my heartbreak.
